I stayed at this hotel for a work team off site and it did not disappoint. The rooms were clean, the lobby is so nicely decorated, the bar is a good vibe, the gym has plenty of weights and cardio machines like treadmills and ellipticals, the pool is clean and gets a lot of sunshine, and the location is convenient. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful. My next door neighbor kept blasting his TV at night and I requested they intervene. I bugged them three to five times a night and they never made me feel like I was actually bothering them. They were happy to help. They also have housekeeping stuff at the front, dried lavender packs, and shower steamers in case you want a little something extra. The only drawback for me was how much noise there was outside on Camelback Road. I know they can't do anything about that, but it kept me up. So it's something to consider. read more

Such a fantastic stay! The location is perfect -- steps away from great restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is spotless, with beautifully modern decor that feels both stylish and welcoming. The selection was limited, overpriced, and unfortunately everything tasted stale. Really enjoyed my stay here with the exception of the pool being heavily chlorinated during the very hot week I was here and the unfriendly bartender who had no personality and said that the guest is not always right. From my iniital visit to the Bar and subsequent visits during my stay, he hardly smiled even when I said hello by his name on his name tag after my initial interaction on my first day. His body language and attitude conveyed that he really didn't want to be at work and observed that he would talk with the other bartender without a simple acknowledgement hat he would be right with me. JC on the other hand was very pleasant and after ordering initial drink he remembered and asked if I wanted the same thing from the night before. Asian gal who checked me in behind the desk along with the other females working the day shift were friendly and always acknowledged me as a guest. Night Auditor was not as personable as I would see him each day early in the morning and would not say "have a great day." I'm being generous with four stars but the hotel is nice, modern, clean and convenient to the Scottsdale Fashion Mall, Old Town and where I needed to visit for work. We recently had a staycation at this hotel and were so impressed! We were able to secure an early check-in, the front desk staff were very kind and professional. The hotel is beautiful, trendy, and gives a "boutique" vibe, perfect for the area! It's also really clean! Modern furniture, cute decor, and just really welcoming. We spent several hours at the pool, which was also clean with lounge chairs and towels, very quiet. Eventually they played music, which was the best but it was fine. Our downfall to the pool experience is that the bar wasn't open for most of the best pool hours! It closes at 11am and reopens at 4pm and we were definitely hoping to enjoy a few cocktails poolside. We did get to enjoy the bar later in the evening, with Wayne making us some delicious margaritas. We saw some of the food coming out and it looked pretty good too. Our only disappointment for food was the $18 breakfast buffet which was really nothing more than hard boiled eggs, some cut up deli meat (like turkey), and some fruit. Our room was clean and had a gorgeous view! However the beds were exceptionally hard. Check out was super easy; would definitely go again and recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing vibe in the Biltmore area. read more

Overall, this was a decent stay. The location was great--close to several food options and a mall, and the area felt nice and safe. We had no concerns leaving our car in the parking lot. The room was spacious, though it felt like there was a lot of unused empty space, and there was no luggage rack for suitcases. The shower was a highlight, with both a detachable shower head and a large rain shower head. The mattress wasn't very comfortable and our backs were a bit sore in the morning, although we're probably a little spoiled by our Purple mattress at home. There was also no bathroom fan, so sound carried easily. The energy-efficient AC didn't run all night, and the room felt a bit stuffy throughout the night while we were sleeping. read more

Very nice hotel in a nice area. The lobby was modern and they had fresh fruit infused water at the desk daily. My room could have been cleaner. I look for very clean hotels and this one had hair in the bathroom and in the room. The hair could have been from the staff but I have OCD and so I am sensitive when it comes to cleanliness. Also, the toilet seat doesn't extend to the same length of the toilet so when sitting part of your leg will be on the part of the toilet that is there when you lift the seat. The shower floor could also use a good power wash as it was a little stained. We didn't use any of the amenities as we were there for a funeral but they had a bar and a pool. My son went down for breakfast one morning but wasn't interested in the menu so we chose to eat off the property the two mornings we were there. The mattress was harder than I like. I was shocked at how hard they were but I am new to Marriott, I have been a long standing rewards member for a competitor brand and I must say I prefer the mattresses they have. Also they need better lighting in the bathroom. It was very dim and that's hard when trying to get ready. The morning we were leaving we were awoken by a loud bang on the window. When we looked, a bird had committed suicide and left a good amount of residue on the window so we closed it. That is no fault of the hotel, but seeing as tho we were there to bury one of my Parents, that did make us a bit emotional. All in all, the hotel was nice. The view was Amazing. No read more

Initially arrived around half an hour early for check-in was told the room wasn't ready - we were happy to wait the half an hour until check-in but it was over an hour before we could get our room key as the rooms weren't ready. On heading to our room the whole floor smelt of vomit. We were then woken in the early hours but a male screaming, shouting and banging loudly on a door. No apology given at any point - even though we had to call down to reception. We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it with the excellent staff and location the beds that feel like you're sleeping on a cloud but this time we were very disappointed. read more

Stay at your own risk. I had a 3 nights stay with my husband coming in on the second day. We were getting ready in the morning and I heard him yelling from the bathroom. The glass sliding bathroom door was stuck and he could not get out. Thank God, I was in the room with him. I couldn't get it open either. When the engineer came in with a ladder, he knew exactly what to do. I asked him if this happens often and he said yeah the doors are too heavy for the frames. Aside from the fact that if I had been there by myself and it happened to me, they would have my d@$d body on their hands.... I always put the do not disturb sign on the door... close the door when I shower to keep the steam in. There is no phone in the bathroom. My claustrophobia would've done me in very quickly. But here's my main complaint... no apology or even real acknowledgment while we were there. At home, I wrote a letter to Marriott and did hear from someone at the location. She informed me that they met with engineering and decided that they will not be replacing the defective doors as I suggested. They instead will go around and tighten them all. I pointed out that this means that they will eventually loosen again, and this will happen to others. Not a great solution, I say. She asked if I had any other questions. lol So if you don't want to be trapped in the bathroom for possibly days at a time, pick another place. read more

Well this place certainly caught me off guard. I did a "day-use" stay, and was still treated like a customer who was doing a full stay. I liked how clean everything was. And the 2 complimentary waters were quite nice. The site was well maintained, and had a nice bar in the lobby. What put me off to 3-stars was that they were practically trying to get rid of me at my end time stay. With a "day-stay" you have a checkout time of a certain time. Which in this case was 5pm. And literally at 5pm on the dot, someone who works at the site (not the cleaning people), barged right into my room after 1 knock. If someone stays beyond the time, I recommend you charge them for it. Not barge in to someone's room and potentially cause a "life changing accident". But on a good note, nothing happened. I think that individual just needs better training on privacy and the laws that follow. In the end, I don't think I'd consider an overnight stay here. It is nice, but the lack of consideration to privacy is a huge let down for me. read more

Ambiance: The lobby is modern, very open and sleek. There is a bar/food area within the lobby area. They have some breakfast items in the morning and coffee for guests. Customer Service: Excellent, professional, and courteous Rooms: I was on the 3rd floor, my view was the street, cars passing by. The room was very clean, modern looking and roomy. The bathroom had a shower, I'm not a fan of the large shampoo conditioner pumps that all the guests staying in that room use, but that's what they have in the shower. The vanity area was roomy enough for toiletries. The only thing missing was a lighted magnifying mirror, as a traveling business women bathroom lighting for makeup is essential. Slept comfortably on the bed and despite being on the street side, it was quiet. Area/Neighborhood: Location was in the middle of lots of great shopping and restaurants and close to fwys. I was unaware I would be charged and 2. There is no other place to park. It's like being charged for breathing. It's a despicable hidden fee. You think there is no competition? I should have stayed in an airBnB at a lower price right around the corner and driven to your spot for breakfast. Oh yeah, that would never happen. read more

JC at the bar made us feel very welcome. We ended up having dinner at the bar and it was wonderful. JC was so full of wonderful recommendations for the food items. Extremely pleased with his service! That's the good. The bad is very bad. The beds are horrifically hard. The pillows are awful as well. Very very disappointing. The noise levels are were bad and the walls were quite thin. Came up from Tucson for a night to see our son and grandson, who live nearby, so we could swim. It was 108 when we showed up and there was a sign that said "pool broken". That was the WHOLE reason we stayed there. We were looking for a clean hotel with a pool that wouldn't be too crowded since our grandson is special needs. The manager could NOT have cared less. No apology. Just a rude look and eye rolling. I've stayed at everything from a Holiday Inn to a Four Seasons and this is by far the rudest manager I've ever seen behind a desk. On my impromptu weekend getaway to Phoenix, I ended up staying at this hotel for the night. I got into town late, which was no problem as there was plenty of parking and plenty of rooms available for the night. I noticed that this area was clean and safe. After getting settled in, I went out and met up with my friend. We were able to hit up Scottsdale for a bit before coming back and calling it a night. My room was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. I was able to get a good night sleep, and woke up feeling refreshed. Downstairs at the lobby, I noticed that I had woken up late and narrowly missed breakfast hours. I just proceeded to check out, and I'd grab breakfast out in town. I give this hotel five stars. In part, it made the long drive between LA and Phoenix worth the drive. The accommodations were nice, and the staff were friendly. read more

I love the AC Hotel brand and have stayed in their properties across the country. There is a great vibe, be it the contemporary decor, outstanding staff and the lively bar. I first stayed at the Biltmore location in January 2019 and it wowed me. Perfect one night stay. Great breakfast, well equipped workout room. So I returned this weekend for a three night stay and literally all of great things were there again. But this time my room on the second floor faced Camelback. Now I know why they have ear plugs in the room. The road noise is terrible. It doesn't help that the building is so close to the three lane roadway. They really need to replace the windows in this relatively new hotel! I never got a deep restful sleep in any of my three nights. Even the earplugs didn't help. My recommendation is to request a room not next to Camelback. That eliminates a lot of rooms for the hotel, but I can assure you will feel much more rested and satisfied if you do. I should have requested to move my room after the first night, but I didn't. read more

The family and I spent New Year's Eve at the AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore. There isn't much I can say about this hotel. It is a very clean, modern hotel. Very corporate I guess you could say. In fact, it sits in what could best be described as a business park. We were assigned room 249. The room had very modern furniture. A lot of clean lines and minimal decor. That being said, it was comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly. Parking is $12 a day. read more

Very nice vibes here!!! Had a great time hanging out. The rooms are nice, clean and cozy! The pool is clean and the staff are all really nice!!! The bar area here, is popping and there's plenty of parking on-site! There's also " whewsa areas" to go relax outside, near the pool. I recommend out of state guests, as well as, staying here yourself for a weekend get away. Definitely a great location close to all of the nice established restaurants and shopping all within walking distance and across the street. Scottsdale Fashion mall is only up the street but you'll need a vehicle to get there, as it's not within walking but only about a 6 min drive. Rooms are clean, house keeping is first class and the front desk staff are vey well trained. And I like the the breakfast bar for its simplicity and how it has situated so well within the hotel. Most AC hotels do get job in lobby but this property did outstanding job laying out the bar in the middle of the lobby. Look it is a very nice minimalist hotel. Very sleek and cool looking. With that said, i probably wont come back. We were here only over night for a party for a friend. We wanted a junior suite and reserved it ten days earlier. We checked in to the hotel around 3:15 (after check in time) and waited as the check in clerk kept looking at her computer and working the keys...and waited....3:30 and we were still waiting. She said we had a sports group that left today and I am trying to find you a junior suite.. at 3:40 i asked if she had an upgrade to a king suite and she kept looking so at 3:45 i said just give us a regular room, cause the party started at 6:00 and i just wanted to put my feet up.she found one for us on the 2nd floor facing Camelback so we heard any loud vehicle rush in from of our window. The A/C was so loud. I was happy when we left early the next morning, so i could get some sleep once we got home! Never received a "sorry" a complimentary breakfast (which costs $18), or any other acknowledgment of our inconvenience...other than she said she would reduce the cost for a regular room instead of a junior suite...well, i guess so! So although kinda of a cool physical space, i think you can figure out somewhere else to stay overnight for $220+ dollars. read more

Hotel is okay. The Marriott app says you can get mobile key, but that didn't work. After getting to airport in Cincinnati and flying 4 hours, just wanted the luxury of using my mobile check in. Wasn't available. Had to wait in line to check in. Not a big deal, but why be a member and choose a hotel based on the membership and get mediocre service. Check in is at three. I arrived at 5. Shouldn't be that hard. Beds could use a refresh. They have visible sunken spots. read more

Decent hotel in a good location. Unfortunately the lighting package in the rooms is horrible! I don't understand this need to have such low lighting. It's absurd and absolutely sucks for anyone trying to get ready in the morning. The one long mirror in the room is on the back of the entry door in a hall with basically no lighting. The bathroom lighting is abysmal for trying to do any make up or hair. There is no mirror above the desk so you can't use the natural lighting and they don't provide a small magnifying mirror. Sometimes design really gets in the way of function. Lobby is clean and nice, they have an espresso machine but don't provide coffee drinks ??, bar was nice, and staff very professional and helpful. read more

While we've stayed here more than once, this was our first post-Covid visit. It looked to us as if they'd downsized the staff a bit. We had to search for someone to check in as there was no one by the desk. There was one person at the bar for drinks with no servers. The same was true for breakfast. I''m guessing that there were many rooms closed because the room choices were limited despite the fact that we didn't see many guests. Masks were prevalent and there were plenty of hand cleaning stations in the public areas. The room was clean and well cared for. One quibble was the bath soap. There wasn't any but there was a very tiny bottle of body wash. Probably enough to clean one arm. We had breakfast and the sandwiches we ordered were so good that we took a picture of the menu so we could make a version of them at home. And, of course, location, location, location. read more

This review is going to be a little different than most as I have never actually stayed at the property. You see, I'm a traveling nurse and had gotten a contract to work in a hospital in Phoenix. I contacted the property with several questions I had and received a prompt response from Jennifer Simpson. In more than one communication she offered to book a reservation for me which I thought was extremely helpful. Sadly, my contract was cancelled prior to it ever beginning, however that did not stop Jennifer from her superior customer service mindset. When I told her about my contract now being changed to Tucson she went above and beyond looking for reputable properties close to my new hospital. As a traveler coming from thousands of miles away it truly is a blessing when you meet someone so helpful. I can honestly say if customer service is as important to you as it is to me you should definitely stay here. The property looks gorgeous and Jennifer is amazing. If I'm ever in Phoenix there's no doubt this will be my go to property. read more

So my husband and I were wanting to do a staycation (aka 2 nights relaxing away from our kids lol) but we didn't want to stay at a big resort. We just wanted a nice and quiet spot to unwind and we chose the perfect location! I love this hotel! First off...it is SPOTLESS. It might be the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were all so friendly and hard working. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and it was delicious (we love a good European style spread) and had wonderful drinks in the bar in the evening. Rooms are great, very roomy with that comfy bed (and pillows!) that I've come to appreciate about Marriott. The pool area is beautiful and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. It was exactly what we were wanting. Location is perfect and so close to great bars, restaurants and shopping. The price was reasonable and no resort fee which will keep us coming back! This hotel fitted the bill for everything that I needed for a 2 week trip. I loved the location in Biltmore and how clean it is. The people at the front desk are so helpful and incredibly friendly. The bar staff like Martin can make some amazing drinks as well. The bar food is also on point! The all you can breakfast was delicious and different then your ordinary continental breakfast. The food was made to order and has an assortment of cheese, meat and different breads. The hotel is not even a year old so everything is in great condition. I'll be coming back again for 2 weeks and will be staying here. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in PHX. read more

I really enjoyed my stay! The lobby decor is clean, simple, chic. Lots of functional spaces with comfortable furniture that encourage engagement, relaxation, and comfort. They serve breakfast, which I enjoyed, and dinner. The bar is located on your way to the elevator. The outside patio and pool area is beautiful! The only issue - I had a room that was right above Camelback, facing the lake and the mountains. If you are a heavy sleeper, this is your room! The earplugs the hotel provides tried hard to do the job, but it just didn't because the 24hr traffic on Camelback, the drag races, the big big delivery trucks rumbling by...it's "wake you up from your sleep" NOISY! Stayed the night at the AC Hotel Biltmore, its one of the newest AC Hotels in the valley, opened up in the fall of 2018. This is a sleek looking hotel, from the lobby, to the lounge area to the bar, very posh. Check in was a breeze, front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and had a great view looking at Camelback Mountain. The room had a mini fridge, coffee machine, safe, desk with chairs, long bench to store things, nice size closet too. Walk in shower and roomy bathroom. The bed was very comfortable as well. One of the features I like within the Marriotts (AC Hotel is a Marriott Hotel) is the smart tv, you are able to log into your Netflix, Hulu and when you check out your information is removed and your no longer logged in. Enjoyed my stay at the AC Hotel, wouldn't mind recommending it to family or friends who come to the valley. read more
