We celebrated a beautiful wedding this past weekend (5/30/26) @ The Teapot. Our experience at this venue was PERFECT, everything looked beautiful, and ran so smoothly. It was the PERFECT place for our family and friends to celebrate the marriage of our daughter. Such an adorable venue! We had a great time for my brother's wedding at this location. The staff was all very helpful and the backyard was super cute with a nice view of the cityscape in the background, but still felt cute and intimate. The parking is limited and you'll have to park on the street, but that's common downtown. read more

We decided to have our wedding at the Teapot. Jonathan took so much stress off of us and we were really able to just enjoy the wedding. This was the perfect intimate venue and the night was absolutely amazing. Jonathan was extremely helpful suggesting a timeline for us and making sure the event ran smoothly. Absolutely loved this super cute venue in Phoenix! We hosted our September VYP Board event, 'Meet, Mingle, and Move,' and it was such a beautiful spot. The owners are so sweet, and they just celebrated The Teapot's 10th anniversary! Aside from the heat, everyone really enjoyed the space. Parking is limited out front, typical for the Phoenix area, but nothing out of the ordinary. My only tiny wish was that the outdoor misters worked given our event was outside and it was quite hot, but honestly, that's just a small note in an otherwise wonderful experience! read more

Overall, we had a good experience. The layout and the space was great and it didn't feel claustrophobic. You can move the picnic style tables around any way you want. There are 11 tables. There are also folding tables you can utilize for a gift table, dessert table and food table. There is a storage lIke shed in the back for kids to play with toys and other kid friendly accommodation's. There are multiple add ons and things you can purchase, depends on your needs. There is a staff on duty at all times and your can order coffee or alcohol or you can pre purchase for your guest. You cannot bring your own alcohol. You can bring your own food and decor if you wish. There were some things I thought were a bit excessive price wish and I felt should have been included in your price, but the owner did meet us half way. Also, please keep in mind that your decorating and take down time cuts into your total reservation time. So if you have the place for 5 hours and your event starts at 1p you can't start decorating until 1p so maybe start your event and hour later and end 30 min - an hour early unfortunately. I felt there are some things that would benefit being adjusted for the amount you pay for a space and for added value to the customer and to keep them coming back. I do recommend this space and I would rent again. read more

I had my wedding at The Teapot this past weekend (3/14/26) and I cannot rave about this venue enough. They were helpful, attentive, collaborative, and flexible. They allowed me to supply some of my own decorations and food, to request certain layouts, and bring my own vendors. But in addition, they had decorations to choose from as affordable add-ons, and an incredibly cute backyard reception area that didn't need much to dress it up. Communication was stellar and the on-hand staff was professional and efficient. Everything came together so seamlessly, it was the best day of my life, and the venue was the necessary foundation for that. I loved our experience here at the Teapot! Jonathan has been an incredible host from start to finish. He responds to emails on a timely manner and answers questions thoroughly. The venue speaks for itself. You don't need to do too much to make it look cute. They provided most of everything we needed and wanted as far as decorations. You can rent a lot of things with them for surcharge but it's worth it. My friends family and I absolutely loved having the baby shower here. If you are looking for a venue that is perfect for an intimate wedding, The Teapot is the venue for you. From our initial booking until the last guest left, Jonathan and his staff were so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The appetizers we ordered were fresh, delicious, and beautifully displayed. We did not hire a DJ and their help with switching between our different playlists really helped keep the event moving along. All we had to do on the day of the event was show up and have a good time. They took care of the rest. Overall it is a good place for throwing a party and is very cute as well, however, we felt the venue is small for 50+ guests. And also owner is very particular about the end-time window since they have multiple bookings in a day. I had my wedding there this month. It was so beautiful and just enough for my family to be there to celebrate. We ordered the waffles from them for our family and even helped us out with our food since we are vegan. We were able to give them vegan waffles for them to work with for us. Their decorations were so beautiful. Jonathan helped out the party in how the weddings looked and what we can do with ours from where we walked for the ceremony to how to travel from ceremony to the party in the back. I just hosted my sister's bridal shower here and I cannot say enough good things. If you are looking for a venue to host any kind of shower or party this place needs to be on your list. I currently live on the east coast so I needed a venue but still wanted an intimate feel. I came across a video of the teapot and I was in love with the aesthetic and then when I found out they had mimosas and quiches I was sold. Do not skip on the quiche! The owner makes them from scratch and it was a big hit with the guests! Jonathan was so wonderful in helping me plan from the other side of the country. He was helpful, very responsive and had amazing suggestions for set up! Ellie was our event coordinator for the day and she is an absolute doll. She was so sweet and helpful with set up, jumping in if she saw an opportunity, she was friendly and fun with guests, made amazing lattes for everyone and even entertained the three year old with colorful post-its. The Teapot was the perfect location to host my son's first birthday! We're so glad we decided to have his party there. The owner Johnathan was incredibly helpful and communicative. They have everything you need: tables, chairs, linens, food and beverage, heaters, indoor/outdoor space, a great sound system, and plenty of room for decor. The play place for the kids in the back is adorable! And the coffee at the coffee bar in the front is so good! They also offer yummy drinks for the adults as well. What a darling tea spot! Not feeling for a hip spot like Teaspressa? Or a hippie spot like Cha-Cha's Tea Lounge? What about a British and American partnered Tea spot? With toys near the front and a playground out back for the tots. They do host the backyard for parties but as a customer you are welcomed to the indoor seating and porch seating which I happily took on a gorgeous December morning (it was 50F with sunshine!). I enjoyed a Strawberry Donut with a Hazelnut Latte (with half and half). If you're looking for a unique venue for an event, THIS is the place. When our initial wedding venue fell through a month before our date, The Teapot saved the day! Jonathan was super quick to reply back to our inquiry, provide all details we would need to book our wedding and reception, and was always available for any questions. During our rehearsal, he provided helpful suggestions and guidance to make the ceremony run smooth, even including some things we hadn't already thought of! He was also present during our wedding/reception as the barista (our guests absolutely LOVED the selection of drinks - I myself had an amazing dirty chai!!) When the catering arrived he was right there helping to set things up, safely move the wedding cake, etc. The venue itself is absolutely adorable, and worked perfectly for our intimate wedding (less than 30 guests). We had our wedding at The Teapot on May 4th, 2024. The day could not have been more perfect. We had approximately 45 people attend. From the moment I reached out to Jonathan with an inquiry to the day of the wedding, everything went smooth. Communication was fantastic, we were able to do a few walkthroughs, and Jonathan provided some suggestions and details for us to consider. The day of the wedding was beautiful. We were able to use our own outside caterer and bring it much of our own decorations. We also rented some of their decor options. We used their DJ services for our special songs for certain times like the ceremony and first dances. The staff were helpful throughout the entire day. Back in December of 2023 my friend and I hosted a Bridal Shower for our friend at The Teapot and it did not disappoint. It was affordable, quaint and the day-of the Owner bent over backwards to accommodate us. Since this is a small business operation that is open for rentals, don't expect 24/7 access and communication. Communication ramped up as we got closer to the event date. We loved how it was essentially an open floor plan to get creative with how we oriented the space. The Owner had a decent amount of add-ons to choose from to help elevate the party, though we opted to bring in a lot of our own decorations and food. The drinks on site were delicious! We would definitely use this space again for another event. read more

Jonathan was such a pleasure to work with for our recent baby shower. He made the process to tour and book the venue so easy. My friends who handled all the details commented on how smooth the planning process was and even stated how helpful and attentive the staff was day-of. The venue was perfect and so quaint for the vibe we wanted! The amenities were great. Parking wasn't an issue since our event was on Saturday (free street parking). We were also provided free overflow parking in their private lot. They also offer an extensive food and beverage menu, and a full service drink/coffee bar was available to our guests (we used outside catering and had a cash bar for guests). The venue was also very kid friendly, as we had three small children in attendance who were able to play in the yard area! Well, not sure how I can explain what happened here today, but I'll give it a shot. Buckle up, it's a little lengthy. After exiting the beautiful Japanese garden close by, my wife googled the nearest coffee/ tea shop for a splash of caffeine. This business popped up. Parked out front, greeted by a lovely batista, ordered 3 Chai tea's, and paid close to 20 bucks. First red flag. Offered to go into the next room for some lovely quiche. Politely declined, as we are heading to lunch somewhere else later in the day. Thanked her for the drinks, then went to the outside porch to grab a seat in the sun. A few minutes later, a polite gentleman, maybe the owner, thanked us for our purchase and then explained that he thought we were with the baby shower.... second red flag. It is a closed event, and this business only operates by events. Talk about awkward, but he said we can relax and continue to enjoy our 20 dollar Thai teas. Talk about feeling like a third wheel. Needless to say, I would of bought a gift for a taste of the quiche!! If your ever invited to an event here, I guess enjoy your drinks. If not, just be warned it's not a business, even though it says it on yelp. Oh, and have an extra gift in your trunk. read more
