Overall, I'm quite happy with my experience and may come back. I got a same-day appointment online for a shorter massage and gua sha enhancement for a reasonable price. The treatment was nice! My only not so stellar experience with her was she had no idea what kind of oil she was using when I asked her. That was very strange. She said she would have to ask and get back to me. They have a monthly membership they push, and it was mentioned to me several times. If you have never been to a spa before, it's quite common to be upsold on products and services. I'm familiar with it, and I have no problem saying no, but want to mention to folks who are considering coming who may not be familiar so it's not surprising when it happens. Typically they stop if you say no, and this was my experience here so it was fine. The location is awesome and there is enough to do here to keep you occupied for a couple hours. You could really make a whole day of it if you get a couple services, want to do some shopping or browsing, and a meal. Speaking of food, it's worth mentioning they have a little tea and snack bar in the lobby. The furniture here is not that comfortable and does not feel cozy. I don't think they designed it to actually keep people here longer than a few mins, so it's not a spa lounge by any means but has the basics you'd expect for spa treats like water, tea, and a few snacks. I may be back! Admittedly, we are pretty spoiled for choice here in Phoenix of nice spas. But the location here really is good! read more

The massage was fine. They started it 15 minutes late, which wouldn't be a big deal but I could tell she was rushing through it. Once I finished, I saw it was only 40 minutes past when we started. When she rang me up and I asked why they were charging me for an hour when it was 45 minutes (which was being generous), she with a huge attitude said "well if it's going to be an issue I guess I can discount you" while trying to shame me for calling out the timing. She did not in fact give me a discount. Poor management and customer service for a mediocre massage. read more

I've been here a couple of times and have always had a great experience! The front desk girls are very sweet. My nail tech Heather did a great job! She was a pleasure to work with. My friends, family and I made our way to warm Arizona to celebrate my 30th and I was surprised with a private room and massage at CLOVR. We were greeted with snacks and flavored water and tea and then when we got into the room, the screen said Happy Birthday, there were treats on the table, three full blown massage chairs and even one alcoholic drink per person. And the MASSAGE. I think they probably know this (I certainly hope they do), but Nick was one of my favorite massage therapists that I've ever had. He was so thoughtful and kind and really made my birthday extra special. Props to him and all of the others that helped our group throughout the day. Cool ones too: You come in and get to chill in the living room area there is an area that you can get flavored water and hot tea if you want; they walked me pass a lounge area, then took me the Chill Lounge. The lounge has these amazing massage chairs, I can live there forever. OH, my basic knead massage was one of the best. J is the BEST. I was so relaxed and melted like butter in his hands. I was very excited to spend my Mother's Day morning at Clovr. I walked in and was greeted right away. They had me fill out a short waiver and I showed me the refreshments. Everything was decorated so cute. As far as refreshments went, there really wasn't anything for me. They had two drink option but both had artificial sweeteners so I had to pass. The snack they had was gummy bear fruit snacks. Which was just strange for a spa in my opinion. I didn't have anything. I did ask for water and it was room temperature with no option for ice. I booked a facial and mani pedi. My facial was great. I felt truly relaxed and my skin felt wonderful after. I was walked over to the massage chair room after to wait for my next technician. It was a great waiting area. Next I had my mani and my pedi which is where I was very disappointed. My technician did apologize for stating late, which I understand happens but that didn't bother me as I was not in a rush. What bothered me was how fast my service was. I looked online after the fact and saw my facial should have lasted an hour, my mani a half hour and my pedi 45 minutes. I looked at the clock when my mani started and she was finished in 16 minutes. My whole spa experience from checking in a few minutes before my appointment was to start, my 3 services, my time in the massage room, checking out and browsing for items all took 2 hours. I left feeling like they hurried me out which is truly unacceptable for what I am paying and tipping. Edit: Emily, a manager reached out an sincerely apologized for my experience and offered to make it right. That shows that my visit must have been a fluke and that they provide good customer service. read more

Scheduling any service is so incredibly easy. I went for a manicure at first, because I'm obsessed with how Dazzle Dry has helped my nails, and got more information on their membership. After some time of reflecting, and needing an esthetician to help my skin for my wedding next year, I booked a facial and got the membership- mainly because of the services but also because of the positive employees, cleanliness, and amenities!! Let me just say, first of all, Sam (who did my facial) is the most incredible, intentional, personable, and respectful esthetician I have ever met. She gave such a thorough consultation, coupled with the most relaxing facial based on my preferences/needs, and followed up with recommendations that fit my budget. It's safe to say that Sam will be my esthetician for as long as possible!! As for the membership- it's totally worth it. It pays into the services you know you'll be getting, rolls over monthly, and has no strings attached. It's a nice nail salon but they really messed up my boyfriends feet. They rubbed it raw and he could not wear shoes comfortably for two weeks. They luckily gave us a refund for his pedicure but it was disappointing. My pedicure turned out ok but it seemed like she rushed through it. I would go back just due to location but service does not meet the price. I liked the room with massage chairs but the chairs you sit in for the manicure pedicure are just normal recliners. read more

I have been a clovr life member for 18 months. I have had good massages and facials in the past. I booked an 80 minute massage and was very specific about my needs when i booked it. When i arrived i reiterated my needs with the massage therapist. This was quite possibly the worst massage I have ever had. It was more of a session of therapist putting pressure on areas and holding it. She forgot to massage my left arm and the two areas (upper hamstring and feet) i told her i wanted her to focus on were completely ignored. I was so disappointed what a waste of $200. read more

Can I just stop and say that as a 64 year old woman, I've had maaannnny massages but he takes the prize!!!! I've been a member of this salon spa for almost two years, and I can now confidently say the service is NOT worth the high rates they charge (I can't emphasize this enough). The staff frequently tries to upsell products under the guise of being part of the service, leading to unexpected additional costs. I've also experienced last-minute appointment cancellation by masseuses, which reflects their lack of professionalism and respect for my time. I've been asked to come early to my schedule appointment in the same afternoon, I would leave work early and then wouldn't be seen until after my scheduled time. Communication among the staff is abysmal. Despite being assured that canceling my subscription wouldn't be an issue, I was later informed I'd be charged again due to "late" per their company policy. They stated I had signed a document (almost two years ago and expected to remember) acknowledging this. It's disappointing to see a business treat its customers this way, PLEASE DO NOT waste your hard earned dollars by spending it here. They do not operate with integrity nor do they appreciate or respect their customers. read more
