Warning for potential gift card purchasers: My wife gifted me a 90 minute massage. When i arrived to redeem it, presented the physical gift card, they informed me that someone else had already used it. They told me the name of the person who cashed it in, I didn't know them, and neither did my wife. The receptionist offered me a reasonable explanation, someone likely typed in the wrong number for the other person's gift card. The manager wasn't on site, but would call me back tomorrow. Meanwhile, I could either pay for or cancel my scheduled massage. I paid. After a week of the manager not calling me back, I called them. Not available. However, "I can take your number and have them call you back." No call. A few days later I called again, same thing. I stopped by in person, no manager on site but they would leave my name for the manager to call. No call. Months later, I still have the physical gift card, which I now view as a $189 bookmark. read more

Do not sign up for a membership here. I was overcharged for a payment and instead of a refund they offered to "upgrade" me for the mistake. The "upgrade" is just the equivalent to what they overcharged me for so I am essentially just paying for something I didn't ask for.... I asked for a refund and they said it wasn't possible because they can't do partial refunds (?) I'm not sure how their entry error has become something I am forced to pay for but here we are lol. Extremely frustrating and not worth the hassle honestly. I do want to give credit to the massage therapist & staff I did encounter though. Outside of the scammy membership ordeal, the service I received was good. Nothing negative to say about the staff or how they've treated me. I understand that these refund rules are likely above the front desk staff and massage therapists so I don't blame them for having to be the messenger. I do wish a manager would help fix this problem instead of leaving it to be the customer's problem. read more

The service I received was 5 stars from start to finished. Up on my arrival I was greeted by to friendly young ladies at the front desk. I had the pleasure for Brittney to assist with my check in. Let me start by saying the staff is super friendly and very accommodating. There was a mixup on my appointment and they got me in right away. I personally do not like to be talked to during my sessions and that would be my one complaint. The therapist are so nice and try to carry conversation but I personally want to unwind and enjoy a talk free session. Maybe that is one thing that can be noted on the intake form for the therapists. The therapist overall are great but often times can only get to one or two areas in a session and so it does not really feel like you got an entire body massage compared to other places I've been. I think they are great if you don't need tailored work and looking for a place that is friendly and good. read more

Danya is the best! I have been getting massages for many years and I have never liked someone and continue to go back to them the way I have for Danya. She really takes the time to focus on exactly what you're wanting and targeting the specific areas where you're feeling pain or tightness. We have made great progress with my back pain specifically and she even told me she noticed a difference as well. I pay for the monthly membership and it is completely worth it. If you have a membership you get your massages on a discounted rate. You were able to pause your membership at any time which I like because I like the flexibility if needed. I received the couples massage with my boyfriend. It was my first time going to an Elements massage place so they gave me the introductory member rate. I had the pleasure of booking over the phone with Stephanie whose personality shined though the phone! We were told to get there at least 15 minutes ahead of time in order to fill out paperwork, which we did. Once we got there Stephanie was even more of a kindred spirit! She was funny, witty and pleasant. Once we filled out the paperwork we were called to the rooms by our therapists Will and Jeff. These guys were also very nice. My boyfriend had Will and he says that he did a good job with his massage. Will applied a little lighter pressure than what he's use to, but he liked the massage nonetheless. I had Jeff S. who applied a really good deep pressure. He was very attentive to the knots and tension that I have in my shoulders, neck and back. I really like that once we were walking out from the massage we were handed full BOTTLES of water!!! Lastly, I like that we were given some cards that explained what exercises would be beneficial to us individually. I'd definitely be back to see my therapist again. read more

But, this review is really about Maria. You guys, part of me doesn't even want to write her name on here because she is already hard to get into but she deserves all of the praise! Not only did she make my pregnancy pains disappear, she is the sweetest and most talented therapist. I don't have words to describe how grateful I am for her. I am quite disappointed with the overall service that I received when I went for a 90-minute massage with cupping. I had to repeatedly ask the massage therapist, Nickie, to press harder and to remind her to focus on the right side of my neck. I told her that it would likely take a lot to get the knots out, to which she replied "you'd be surprised" but did not fully address the knots. As a result, I had to go seek out other treatments from other providers as a result of Nickie at Elements Massage falling short of my expectations for a professional massage meant to alleviate soreness and discomfort. I mentioned all this to a Brittany when she followed up and all she offered was $10 off my next visit... HA! I will not be returning to Elements Massage. Love this place!! I keep coming back because Sandra is a great masseuse and the front desk team is really friendly, easy to make appointments with and always books you with the masseuse you request. It's super convenient to my home and also has a few assigned spots right up front so easy to get to! The facility is really relaxing and has great fruit infused water. They also offer all the usual upgrades massage places have such as the hot stones, cupping, CBD oil and scented lotion. Definitely recommend signing up for their awesome membership. Front desk staff is very nice, pretty and professional when i came in a few weeks ago they welcomed me with smiles, gave me water before my appointment and really made me feel heard when they did this kinda interview thing before i went in. my therapist was so attentive to my needs and when i walked out the pink haired girl gave me the best little pep talk that i really needed that day, and even recommended a great new dog food to switch my dog to since i mentioned her allergies in passing before the appointment. i really felt cared for from start to finish, next time i come in im going to do the cupping and HOT STONES, maybe even an aroma. i smelled the eucalyptus because they actually have testers for you to try before you buy. I get a call from another employee Lorianne two hours later asking if i'm still coming to my appt Sunday ... NO ! For the 3x I repeated this ... this week!! Gee wiz... I originally made an one hour massage for Sunday 11/8 and called around Tuesday/Wednesday to book that same one hour massage (don't remember the employees name) for Saturday instead. Since I KNEW I was going to have a crazy day at work so i would get some relaxation after work. (I live in Buckeye and work in DT Phoenix) So I brought all my stuff to change into knowing i'd come straight to my massage in Goodyear today. So yesterday I got a voicemail confirming my SUNDAY appt and was at work so could not answer them. By the time I got out I forgot to call them back and they were closed at that point. I am on my way there today 11/7 it's 4:20 pm and I called and spoke to Krystal ... I called her to let her know idk why I keep getting calls to confirm the Sunday appt when I CANCELLED it earlier this week. She stated there was NO APPT for me today at that time. Used to be great, now I'm disappointed and cancelling my membership....I have been going here once a month for almost 2 years, it used to be great and well worth my money but the past couple months have been a total 180. I had a therapist that I loved and saw for about a year until she left, obviously I was sad but I understand and was willing to try someone else. Since then I have been moved around from person to person not getting a similar quality massage or experience that I was used to. I have had several appointments where I get a call saying they need to reschedule my appointment because the therapist is no longer working there or their schedule has changed. I try and be as flexible as possible because I understand things happen but when it happens multiple times and there is no apology or willingness to offer anything in exchange for the inconvenience it makes it seem like they do not have any regard for their customers time. On top of that whenever I speak to someone at the front desk they are less than friendly and not willing to do their simple job as someone who can make or break an experience as a customer. read more

I've booked my appointments and checked in with Stephanie (front desk) several times. She is wonderful, calm, pleasant, so professional and a ray of sunshine! I am backpacker and come in monthly to have my back worked on by Mellissa. I always request Mellissa! I've also had my husband see Mellissa as well..and he agrees- she is 100% professional and have us leaving Elements feeling revived and refreshed each time. After having two therapists quit in less than six months, I ended my membership. First time the therapist who left recommended someone who turned out to be awful. Then a few weeks ago my regular therapist "moved out of state" so I get a call to set me up with a new therapist. Now I know control over staff turn over is limited, but how you handle it for s long time customer is not. When you set someone up with a new therapist the customer should not bear the brunt of the risk for a new therapist that may not be close to the style the client is use to. I just finished a session with a new therapist which cost me my last $69 session and felt my skin burning from the friction of the therapist style rubbing on my legs. Lastly when I canceled my membership at camelback in person a few weeks ago, I received no confirmation it was canceled. If I get billed again, I'm issuing a charge back on my credit card. We booked a couples massage on 5/20 for the afternoon of the 21st and were excited to try this new place. We were told there was a 24 hour cancellation policy with a $45 fee per person if we cancel. Elements called us one hour before our scheduled massages and said one of the massage therapists was sick so we could not do the couples massage. Their only consolation was offering us free aromatherapy on our next visit. Sorry I didn't want aromatherapy, we wanted a couples massage. If we cancel you charge us $45, when Elements cancels you're out of luck. I wouldn't even recommend going here as they are flaky and unreliable and their policies are awful. Update: The manager/owner called after and was very apologetic. She invited us to come back and give it a try. read more
