I have been going to Sol Touch regularly for over a year. First, there seems to be a lot of turnover in staff. I've had 4 different massage therapists in the past year. Sounds like management isn't great, and there was a recent mass exodus. The current (new) person I see is great. Sol Touch is NOT a place where you go for a nice relaxing spa like massage. Upon booking, you will get several confirmations before the appointment, including a very nice friendly call to make sure you are still able to make your time. I was lucky enough to have Dalyla as my masseuse. It was a religious experience. This is a true sports massage, not for the timid. My wife also received a massage from another masseuse as the staff were very accommodating with our request to get into together during a quick vacation in Tempe. Prices are reasonable given the demand in the area. Massage tables are larger to accommodate the athletes they also support, very very comfortable. I could not recommend Sol Touch massage enough. read more

I find myself in a quandary to rate this experience. I have probably never had a better massage!!! John was tuned into my needs immediately and the full body massage felt complete and planned out perfect for the hour massage. He was very professional providing the pressure perfect for my needs. My difficulty with my rating is related to the location/office. For the first 10-15minutes of my 60 minutes , I heard people in the lobby and general office noise. It subsided, but traffic noise could be heard then. The addition of surround sound in the session rooms? Definitely coming back... maybe a different session room? My husband received an email indicating that because his birthday was in April. We were entitled to 50% off a massage. When we got there for his scheduled appointment, we were told that we weren't entitled to the discount because it was his first time there. There was nothing in the email to indicate this. They weren't very nice about it and implied that it was our fault that we got the email in error because we had rescheduled his initial appointment, and that somehow we were responsible for not being aware of their policies. There are plenty of other massage services available in the area, so I can't imagine any reason why we would come back to this one. Denying our promised discount just left a terrible taste in our mouths. read more

Great Service, Great Massage Delilah was my therapist today on my first time here. She was friendly and pleasant to talk with and has great strong deep tissue abilities! I feel like she really earned her 90 minute massage fee and tip. This place is off Mill Ave in Tempe and does have its own parking spaces in the shade. I'm honestly flabbergasted at all the 5 star reviews. Booking was easy and they do have a good amount of availability. I made my reservation a week in advance. Two days later my appointment was pushed back 30 minutes by text. That's fine. The parking directions given to me were very helpful. That's about all the positive things I have to share. The building is on Mill so I expected there to be some traffic noise and some audio device in the room to drown it out. I didn't expect that device to be playing what sounded like a powerful fan (no the standing fan in the room wasn't on.) I was also incredibly displeased at the music choice which would have been prefect for an evening backyard get together but not acceptable during a massage. Until yesterday I had never had a massage where the lights weren't dimmed the whole time. Just because I'm on my stomach doesn't mean the lights should be on. The massage itself was only good for the first 12 minutes. Her pace was off. Her pressure was inconsistent. She spent more time on my right side even though my issues are on my left. Her right hand was noticeably stronger than her left. She had 4 small coughing fits so unless she has a medical condition like COPD then she was most definitely sick and still thought it was acceptable to work... without a mast of course. At the beginning I let Brandy know I pulled a muscle in my neck just over 2 weeks ago. So I was annoyed I had to tell her to go lighter on my neck. I have no idea what she was doing to "massage" my neck but she didn't learn that in school. It was horrible. I also DID NOT receive a full 60 minutes. 12-15 minutes were shaved off for changing. So it was just like every other massage place where you get a room for the time paid and not massaged for the whole time like their website claims. My favorite part!!!! I want to highlight that the entire staff is incredibly unprofessional. Not just my masseuse Brandy but all the other massage therapists and office manager. Throughout my entire massage I could hear the lobby which was filled with staff LOUDLY joking and laughing. There would be like 2-3 minute long lulls while they checked guests in and then soon more roars of laughter, men and women. I decided to try this place out because all the good reviews and it being nearly double the price of my local spot made me assume it would be spectacular. They're impossible to schedule with and even when I did schedule in advance the therapist "called out" on the day of my appointment. They offered me 50% off and attempted to schedule me for a weekday appointment, even after I was clear that wouldn't work. I know there are many people who don't work in Scottsdale, but we do (and yes that also excludes week nights). The next weekend appointment wasn't for a month! It's not my fault, so you shouldn't inconvenience me... you need to figure it out. You don't keep clients by acting like this, any business can take a turn if you don't treat customers like they matter. read more

I had to call because their website was not working nor taking appointments, poo. So appointment booked, uh two voicemails left on my cell to confirm appointment, ok ok confirmed, quit bugging me....then an email to confirm appointment with Covid directions, ok ok thank you...then finally another email confirming appointment- stop stop...if I get future emails from u with promotions, I'll be irritated. As a musician, I needed to find a massage therapist that is not only affordable, but also understand that musicians are also athletes and have similar issues/problem areas. Mr. John is a God sent and listened to all my concerns and by the end of the session I felt like I could conquer the world being nimble and limber again. This place is geared to the sports community, athletes sports teams etc. Clean place, kinda had IKEA decor. Excellent couple of massages. This is more of a medical level massage than your typical massage place. As a physician there are a few things I really appreciate about this business. 1. They are professional. Jeremy and Chelsea are courteous always. 2. Imelda always delivers the same high standard of trained massage regardless of what time in the day you go. 3. The facility is clean and the equipment they use is too. Side note-You can always judge the quality of a medical clinic by how how clean the bathroom is. The one here is spotless. They had last minute availability and could cater to me while I'm pregnant which is a HUGE plus in my book. The whole place was really nice and clean, they offered bottled water, and once I was in the room I was asked if I needed the temperature adjusted and exactly why I had come in. The entire time I was getting massaged the line of communication was open and I left there without the tension headache I had when I came in. I've been getting massages here for the last two years (on and off). I started getting deep tissue massages to help manage my neck pain and relieve my headaches. She was going to use her birthday month discount. Linda says she called both of yesterday to confirm but our phone records prove that we were not called. So, that is a big lie! I must admit, when I first pulled up to the location, this massage parlor didn't seem like much- but after reading reviews from fellow Yelpers, I wanted to give it a try. It was hard for me to find a masseuse whose company I enjoyed (I like conversation rather than silence) and who could work out all the knots and muscle tension from my very active lifestyle. Before I even got my massage, I was drawn by how personable and kind Jeremy, the front desk man, was. He is my second favorite person at Sol Touch, because of his wonderful personality and because he gave out chocolate around Valentine's Day (Ferrero Rocher- the GOOD stuff). My favorite person is obviously my massage therapist, Mr. John. He is extremely knowledgeable in terms of muscle groups and anatomy, attune to the amount of pressure he applies and how you respond to it, and a great conversationalist. He understands what muscles are the likely culprit of a particular pain area, and focuses thoroughly on every area that I need worked out (mainly neck and upper back). He is superb at what he does, and has MAGIC HANDS. My motto when I go to him is "break me and re-make me". Haha! And he does! I feel renewed and fixed every time. If you are in need of a massage this is the place! I was visiting the area and made an appointment for my daughter and me for 60 minute massages. We both have super sensitive skin and let them know ahead of time. Not only did they accommodate our needs, but they also emailed us the list of ingredients in the massage lotion before our visit to make sure we wouldn't have a reaction. We both had great massages and Latisha did an amazing job working out knots. They work with Division 1 athletes at ASU (and now also the Cardinals) so they know their stuff! I scheduled the appointment two days ago with Ms. Carolina because she was rated so well, and everyone was right! Carolina was the bomb! She was digging in and finding spots around my neck, shoulders, and then also on my shins! Wth! I never had anyone massage my shins but they were sore and she somehow knew it!
