Do not book a foot massage with this salon. I'm serious. They are unqualified... I booked a foot reflexology session and had hoped it would be a positive experience, but unfortunately it wasn't. There was noticeable discomfort throughout- her long nails and the way she pulled on my toes made it hard to relax. At one point she located a knot and focused intensely on that area, which continued to cause pain rather than relief. I wasn't able to unwind during the session. If you haven't had a Thai massage before, think of it as more stretching and pressure point trigger point therapy vs what you would see as a traditional Swedish massage. You can opt to have your practitioner walk on your back as well (highly recommend) and they know exactly where to press! It was an intense massage - if you've had an athletic massage before it is similar to that. The pressure was perfect, the amount of time spent on each body part was great, and I felt like I had 10 year old knots removed. The very fist thing I noticed was how nice and relaxing the ambiance is then I noticed they start you off with a sheet of paper that allowed you to further customize your experience. My masseuse. I was in town for a two-day football camp and decided to treat my achy body to a massage before heading out of town. Having had Thai massages before, I knew what to expect--some walking on the back and legs, deep pressure, and stretches. But my experience here exceeded all expectations--A++++! My massage therapist was absolutely incredible. I even joked that I should call her "Doctor" because of her skill and attention to detail. My shoulders and upper body were particularly sore, and I also have foot pain on the ball of my foot (likely Morton's neuroma or metatarsalgia). She started working on the ball of my foot but pressed a bit too hard at first, which made me say "ouch." From there, she adjusted her technique and worked her magic. What impressed me most was how she combined deep and light pressure, constantly "listening" to my body to figure out what needed attention. She didn't just focus on the painful spots--she worked through my hips, calves, thighs, ankles, and even the top of my foot. She stretched my legs in various positions to target different muscles and ligaments, each movement intentional and effective. It was like she was connecting the dots in my body to address the root of the problem. By the end of the session, she pressed on the ball of my foot with the same pressure that had initially hurt--and this time, no "ouch!" My entire body felt incredible, and I left feeling refreshed and pain-free. Thank you for such an amazing experience! I might just have to fly back to Scottsdale to visit again. This was my first experience having a Thai massage, but with all of the positive reviews, I decided to be adventurous and give it a shot. The place was quite busy for a Sunday morning! My masseuse led me to my massage room and gave me a tank top and shorts to put on. I took the tank top off when she massaged my back but put it on again when she flipped me over. There was a warm foot bath to soak my feet in before the massage started. I went for the pure Thai massage with no back walking (there's a box you check on the intake form to indicate if you want back walking or not). It felt like a more active massage than the Swedish-style massages I've had because the masseuse bends your limbs in a way that eventually stretches out what feels like every muscle in your body! So, maybe not as relaxing as the massages I'm used to, but it was good in a different way - I felt like I probably really needed the stretching because my muscles were quite tight! read more

Some masseuses must be great here but I got a terrible one today. Worst massage of my life. The masseuse wore latex gloves. Imagine sticky, hot, rubber rubbing your skin. I told her to the gloves were rough and I asked if she could take it off. She did not understand English and simply continued. Then she did my head massage with latex gloves on, pulling out my hair. I told the manager upon check out and she said that the masseuse had burned her hand previously and that's why she was wearing gloves. Wow - if the manager knew, why didn't the manager tell clients that this masseuse would be working with gloves on? Did the manager really imagine this is an acceptable standard for a massage. And an injured employee should not be working. The manager said that I should have asked for her during my massage. What would that have done? Yesterday I went for the Thai massage- after telling them three times- when I called for the appointment, on the sign in sheet and then the therapist came in and tried to convince me to get the combo. Have been twice to this establishment; the visits could not have been more different! The first was wonderful, with Pat as my therapist, she was a very effective therapist and listened to my needs. Second visit was a disaster! I was early as is my practice, and was called back to my massage room 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Once inside the treatment room, the receptionist told me I was to start my massage in this room, then half way though I was going to have to move to another room!? WTF...are you kidding me? Put all my clothes back on and move to another room? I said 'no' that I did not want to move in the middle of a massage, so they escorted me out and told me I would have to wait another 10 minutes,..OK, fine. Half an hour after my scheduled appointment I was finally directed to a room that I would NOT have to move in the middle of the massage. An older man was my therapist, which was a surprise as I had asked for female therapist. I agreed and he went to work. Holy smokes, literally THE most painful massage of my life! I had to ask him multiple times to be a bit more gentle, he just laughed. The massage also did not last the full hour. I left feeling injured and disappointed; but there was more to come. The next THREE DAYS I suffered from a 'crick' in my neck (where he had been especially vigorous even after my complaints) and a migraine to boot. Never in my life have I felt worse after a massage, and NEVER has a massage caused a migraine! So, I sent an email to the owner, describing my treatment and asking for a phone call to discuss. No phone call, no email, no communication. I went in the following week (of course I asked for Pat, and to NOT have to change rooms) and as I waited, the man and woman at the counter stared at me and whispered amongst themselves, making me very uncomfortable.
