I had an 80 minute massage today with Kelly and I absolutely feel like a noodle at the moment. She is a master at finding the knots and getting those knots out of there!. I love the fact that you can choose your own aromatherapy, you can use the app to set whatever preferences you want, and they abide by it all. Today they had cucumber water and hot apple cider in the relaxation area, Yum! While I am not a member as I travel so much we would miss out on many of the benefits, I understand membership is a much more economical way to obtain these massages on a regular basis. Exceptional customer service is integral to any business model, especially if they want to thrive. They totally receive 5 stars for professionalism, courtesy, and concept. It's super clear that the owner seized an innovative opportunity to take the massage/spa experience up a notch for a clean, customized, and quick approach to affordable luxury. Kudos to them! It is designed to be very app-based where you choose customizations (pressure, body focus, modality style, concerns) ahead of time and upon arrival you have a quick check in at the front desk and are escorted back to a common lounge. This isn't a spa, so there aren't private tranquility/waiting rooms or robes/sandals- as it's more set up like a Hand & Stone where you wait until your therapist calls you back and undress in the room. The lounge was cute, a bit busy. They had water, snacks, and an aromatherapy station to choose an enhancement during your service. Nice touch! The therapists all called my group back separately with their individual iPads (with your profile set up.) They were comfortably dressed and kind although it was hard to discern who worked there and didn't. Once in the room my therapist explained some additional touches such as music selection and how to alert when ready (by pressing a button on the table.) They had hair ties, mints, and a phone charging station! Very nice! My therapist initially went over all areas of concerns and preferences, accurately, and was super kind. She was soft spoken and timely but it was almost as if she didn't read/retain my customizations. I chose a medium pressure for relaxation and stress relief and she worked on my knots like I played pro ball. It was DEEP. I initially wanted to weather through and see if she'd catch my body mannerisms of adjusting and not feeling comfortable, but that didn't do the trick. I waited for her to ask and when she finally did I voiced that it was a lot and I'll see if I can "get through it." Ouch. When I wasn't receiving deep tissue/sports pressure (majority of 40 min) it was relaxing and her strokes were just right! Unfortunately she also massaged my face and scalp at the end and I had indicated "no" to that. I didn't receive their hot towel either, but others did that went with me and said it was great. I've had lots of massages through the years and while I could have spoken up even more, they weren't deal breakers -but also didn't fulfill the total "custom concept" I was hoping for. I will say my group really enjoyed their services and recommended others that I'm sure I'll try. You receive a link at the end of service to provide gratuity and review. This eliminates the awkward front desk checkout or pushy sales of products. The business followed up in a survey and offered their support and a credit to return- which is also exceptional service and appreciated. I try to book with Jerica, who has worked wonders for this tired nurse's body! She is not only amazing at working out the aches and pains but also very knowledgeable and helps you understand why some spots hurt more and how to target them myself at home. I didn't even realize my body was carrying trauma the way it was until Jerica explained, and worked her magic. I do not have those same triggered reflex responses anymore! So when I met Jerica, she already knew what I wanted and she knew exactly what troubled areas to focus on. I told her about an area that was bothering me and she put a lot of focused energy into working it out. I felt so much more relaxed afterwards and those area (Neck & shoulders) feel so much better now. True physical relief! She had a very calming presence as well. The ambience is so nice. It's a very clean and refreshing feel. I was able to pick my choice of music and from their pleasant scents during my 50 min session. I went with (Heal-Good) which promotes: healing + relieving & restoration. When you're in a session, the smells + mood lighting really create the scene. Adding music really puts the mood all together. So, I went with "Zen". complementary flavored water, Calming Teas and almonds await you in the sitting area. When the Courntey my massage theripist came to introduce herself it was kind and she was very effective in asking questions and making sure you get what you need from her while you're there. I had a great massage at Squeeze! I was intrigued when I saw the advertisement for this place that offered "a better massage". I am always keeping an eye out for a "better massage". I feel as though typical massages don't really relax me. The cool thing about Squeeze is that everything is customizable. There is the initial intake that you can do online when you book (where you fill out where you do and do not want to have massaged, etc.) When you get there, you are led back to the massage waiting lounge, where there is water and tea. You see four little windows and behind them bamboo reed diffusers with each of the four aromas that you can choose from for your massage - rose, grapefruit, bergamot, and lavender. I decided to take a break from the traditional lavender that I like for massages and try bergamot. It was a pleasant change! I had booked a massage with Nicholas after I read all of the amazing Yelp reviews that mentioned him. He led me to the massage room and showed me a panel with 6 types of music I could choose from for the massage. Nicholas was a very knowledgeable massage therapist and told me he has been in the business for 20 years. He picked up on things that I had heard from other massage therapists in the past and it was easy to let him know how much pressure to use in one place or another. My first experience over here was a little confusing and ended with my massage time being cut short. But manager Sam was quick to correct the issue and my second experience here was really good! Once the massage therapist came to greet you, the clock starts, so it's best to pick music and undress in a short amount of time to ensure there are enough time for the entire session.
