This is the best thing I've ever found since moving to Arizona. Everyone is so nice. This is true sports massage. As an athlete, I have had a jillion lackluster massages from corporate places and usually leave annoyed. Never here. Ever. Latisha B literally resurrected me as an athlete after a hip flexor injury that plagued me for years prior. She is a soft spoken ass kicker that genuinely cares for me as a person, tolerates my sense of humor, and makes me kick and yell into the donut... just like a good massage therapist should! I can't tell you how amazing she is! Prices are beyond reasonable, the owner is WONDERFUL, and I always leave feeling a million times better. I'm way overdue to get back in there, but I can't recommend Sol Touch enough. Screw the corporate places- privately owned businesses with butt-kicking massage therapists that will actually aid you with injuries is all they do here. Great staff and location. I have chronic nerve issues, and when I had some acute symptoms I visited Shelby for the first time. She was very professional, listening to my history and concerns, warning me that massage could irritate my nerves further, then proceeding with a great treatment for what I needed. The next day, all of my symptoms are gone. Shelby has a really good touch, firm without being painful. And Emma at reception is terrific, as well. This place is straight up magical! I hurt my back in a major way and then went and got an awful chair massage that made it even worse. I was walking around with my back bent and my butt up in the air like Donald Duck. It wasn't a good look and I needed help. I contacted Sol Touch via Yelp and within 10 minutes they were calling me, getting the background of my injury and determining if we were a good fit for each other. Fortunately for me, we were! They were extremely accommodating - getting me in within the HOUR! The facility was clean as a whistle, the owner was extremely personable and then...then, they passed me along to Crystal... and her magical hands. Immediately she recognized my problem spots and massaged them into submission, with a perfect intensity and pace. Oh, and did i mention while she was massaging the pain away, she was giving me helpful tips and suggestions for maintenance so I don't walk around like a duck? Because she did that too. Fantastic 90 minute deep tissue massage. John was fantastic! I'm a tall athletically built guy and I felt his deep tissue massage was very effective...I felt relaxed and since I put a lot of stress on my body weight lifting and running he was able to get a lot of knots out. The massage therapists were quite accommodating--I have sensitive skin, and they happily provided an alternative cream to use that wouldn't irritate my skin. Latisha in particular knows her stuff--ask for her! She always takes the time to explain why I feel tighter in certain areas and what I can do to prevent it in the future. Yesterday I had my first massage since moving to Tempe last August. I lift a lot and I lift pretty heavy and was very tight and sore all the time. After one session with Latisha I already feel so much better. My first visit was due to migraines that I had never experienced in my life. I knew it was coming from my neck though.
