We had three companies give us an estimate for both termite treatment and pest control service for our two story home and had a positive experience using thebugman Termite & Pest Control. Although they were comparable in price to other companies, their Sales Inspector Eddie Hernandez won us over. He was very informative and even took a specimen sample to test what type of ants we had (Argentine Ants). Although we put off the pest control service for now, we paid for a local treatment of drywood termites, screen attic vents, wood repair and signed up for the Annual Termite Service agreement. The local treatment took one day to complete, which they were thorough and clean. The second step was the wood repair which entailed two technicians, Arturo Gonzalez and Daniel Montes working 1.5 days. They arrived on time each day, layed down a tarp to work and cleaned up. They were very professional, friendly and went over and above our expectations. For example, we expected the new lumber would have a primer coat prior to installation on all sides including end cuts but we thought we would be hiring a painter to paint afterwards. Arturo cut off a wood sample to match and he said he would paint it if I provided the paint. He said he is already up there so it is not a big deal. Well it was very much appreciated not to have to hire a painter or climb up a ladder and do it ourselves. Arturo and Daniel also replaced a piece of damaged wood that was not on the original diagram. Lastly, our tiled roof had loose nails exposed and I feared the tiles could eventually fall off. They not only fixed the problem but secured it with screws instead of nails. Wow, I can't say enough how pleased we were. When we are tired of the roaming ants, we will definitely will be calling thebugman! read more

I have been using The Bugman for all my quarterly insect control. My tech is ckean, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. But now I needed something more serious. I had termites. So I called for a free inspection. The inspector, Ed, was also very clean, nice and thorough. He found all the infected areas and suggested they be treated to kill the termites and then repair the damaged wood. In a week a technician arrive, on time, to treat the infected areas. But I told him he could not start on the 2nd story until they sent a 2nd tech to hold the ladder. (Its a safety rule they were going to skip) Another tech arrived and they proceeded. Again they were very nice and very thorough. In another week, Ed and the head Carpenter, Art, inspected again and explained how they would proceed with the wood damage replacement. In another week, Art and Daniel started the wood repair. This was not an easy job. Many rafter tails and fascia boards on the 2nd story had to be replaced. But Art and Daniel did a wonderful job. They were clean, thorough and answered all of my questions. Also it was in the 90's but they never complained. The rafters and fascia look so solid now and they primed all sides of the wood before installing. My only complaint is, I had to insist that they call for an additional man to hold the ladder. On one side of my house the ladders had a very unstable footing and did not seem safe. I did not want either of these nice men to get hurt. So, The Bugman, you need to follow your own safety rules. read more

I have used the Bugman for several years to treat my house for ants. So when I noticed what appeared to be termite damage, I called for a free inspection. Eddie came out promptly and did a thorough inspection of the entire house and explained all of my options. Yes, they offer tenting, but I did not want to move out (both my roommate and I have pets), so he explained alternate treatments. I had 2 other inspections, but one sub-contracted out the damage repairs which I did not want, and I did not like the chemicals used by the other. Bugman uses a treatment that keeps on treating - the termites take it back to their nest. So I signed up with The Bugman and Eddie returned and explained exactly what repairs were needed and how they would do them. Luis and Rudy showed up promptly on our agreed-upon schedule and began working on the house. There were a lot of repairs and it was a 2-story house! But they were very professional and were able to replace a lot of wood in just 4 days! They were very careful not to destroy plants and garden items and they cleaned up the entire property every evening before they left. It was expensive because of the extent of the damage, but I feel confident that the termites are gone and I would recommend The Bugman and Eddie, Luis and Rudy if you have a similar problem! read more

The Bugman in 3 words: PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, RESPONSIVE I never expected a pest control company to have great customer service and a work culture where you can tell the employees like their job. When vetting their company I spoke with Nichole and she was VERY knowledgeable about their services and clearly explained how they would approach and provide support with the spider problem we were having. Their rates were competitive with the other companies and now I just needed to see if they would follow-through on the services they committed to. The answer is YES! Joe Palma was my technician who showed up on time. At first glance I was impressed with how clean his uniform was. For some reason I thought a technicians outfit would be dirty. On my first visit we walked my property and he explained everything to me. I ask a lot of questions and was impressed with his answers. He has been with his company for 5+ years. That says a lot to me about how they treat their employees. Joe visits us every few months and if I need a service in-between I just call and they show up that week with no extra charge. On a side note, Joe is the NICEST guy! You can go wrong with The Bugman as your pest control provider. Thank you Nichole and Joe for making me feel like a valued customer!!! read more

I have had rodents at my house since we moved to Temecula 5 years ago. I have never been able to figure out why the heck we have them but none of my neighbors ever seem to get any. I called a couple different companies to come out and no one was ever able to eliminate my problem. I ended up seeing one of the blue trucks on a street by my house and thought they were cute, so I gave them a call. I cant believe how friendly the office staff was, it may have been my imagination but I really felt like they cared. I was set up to have Eric come out to my house and I swear in the first week he caught 6 rats! GROSS!!!!! I mean seriously GROSS! I have 2 kids and I am not a fan...at least if you think you have mice they at least sound cute. But I had rats! Since then I have changed technicians to Jim who is so awesome! My husband and him got to talking and I swear they are going to go on a fishing trip sometime! Jim has taken care of my house as well as Eric did and with the same amazing attitude. I have since recommended the bugman to my friends and even my own mom who lives nearby. I really love these guys and highly recommend them to anyone who wants good service from nice people who care! read more

I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received from The Bugman! I called five different companies for quotes on tenting my house because I noticed some damaged facias around the outside and thought they might be caused by termites. Isaiah from The Bugman went above and beyond in his inspection. Instead of just giving me a quote and leaving like the other companies, he thoroughly examined the facias, even poking them to confirm there were no termite droppings buried in the damage. He explained that the damage was actually due to water, not termites. Isaiah didn't stop there--he even crawled under the house to check for any underground termite activity, ensuring there were no hidden problems. His professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail were truly outstanding. In the end, they recommended I didn't need to tent the house at all and suggested I focus on repairing the facias instead, saving me a lot of unnecessary expenses. I really appreciate how The Bugman went above and beyond, saving me both time and money. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company, I highly recommend them! read more

I have been a customer for some time, not only for my residence but also a couple other family homes. We have had amazing service over the years with Pat and Jack, whom we miss. We recently had service for termites, at different times, Eddie, Fernando, Mario and I'm not sure his partner's name (sorry), they were all very professional and courteous. Plus they all explained everything and cleaned up during and after the job. I would also like to thank our monthly technician Mark Goldin who is very professional and accommodating. He does a great job which shows, we get less critters except for spiders but it's a lot less. He did explain why, so we're going to handle the issue. He is also very patient and kind while I try and secure the dogs, which is a big challenge... big dogs! Let me not forget the customer service in the office, it's amazing. The ladies are always very pleasant and helpful with any questions or issues I may have. I also like the texts we receive as reminders, very helpful. So with all this said this company is AMAZING!!!! Thank you all for what you do, from a very happy customer! read more

There were three distinct parts to my experience with The Bug Man. First Ed G. came out to perform a free termite inspection. He was on time, clean, professional, thorough (climbed throughout the attic and crawled extensively under the house), patient, and clear in communicating where the termites were and what could be done. He was great. Second was scheduling the work through the office. There was a little glitch, but they were very responsive in actively listening to my complaint and addressing it promptly. Third, Jeremy N. came out to perform the treatment. He was thorough, neat, explained everything he was doing and why, took time to answer all of my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I knew before they came that I had termites, as I'd seen their sawdust-like droppings. These guys didn't try to BS me or up-sell me. They just did their job professionally and at a significantly lower price-point than either of the two other companies who provided estimates before them. Thank you to The Bug Man - 5 stars!! I've worked in the property management and multifamily housing industry for almost a decade and I rarely come across great vendors to leave a review for but, our pest control technician, Alfonso Rodriguez from The Bugman in Santa Ana, CA is absolutely amazing! I met Alfonso after be notified that our regular technician would be getting a new route. We had a great relationship with our old technician Carlos, before his route got changed but nevertheless, The Bugman technicians never disappoint! Alfonso has been superb since the first day he walked in our office and we can't thank him enough. There's another technician named Hugo that services our building sometimes and he is always super sweet. All of our technicians have been extremely compassionate, have great taste in music, always engage with our residents, team members and they love dogs too! If you're looking for a quick, professional and top notch pest control company with phenomenal customer service in Orange County, Long Beach and surrounding areas, do yourself a favor and contact The Bugman asap! Thank me later. read more

I have used The Bugman for several years now for control of ants at my house. So when I needed a termite inspection, I called them. Eddie H. came out promptly and did a thorough inspection of my house, both inside and out. Of course, he found termites everywhere! But he sat down and explained all of my options for both treatment and repairs. I then called 2 other companies and had them do inspections and explanations. One did not do their own repairs, they contracted them out, not what I wanted. The other used a different chemical which did not sound as good. So I went with The Bugman. After more explanations from Eddie (these guys are good!), we scheduled the repairs. Luis and Rudy showed up promptly on schedule and went to work. I have a 2-story house so they had a lot of climbing to do! But they managed to replace all the damaged wood without damaging the roof or any of the landscaping around the house. And everything was thoroughly cleaned up each evening. If you have termites or other pests, I recommend these guys highly - go with The Bugman! read more

Tony R. inspected our home and gave us a competitive quote to treat subterranean termites and for spot treatment and to replace damaged wood. we also signed up for the yearly treatment plan. Tony was always available to answer my question and very prompt to return my phone calls. Thanks Tony! He stayed in touch with me through the project. Jon and Gerald arrived exactly on time to treat the termites and called to notify me of the arrival time. Jon and Gerald were very knowledgeable and professional. They explained the treatment process step by step. Thanks Jon and Gerald. Two weeks later a very skilled carpenter, Tony, and his assistants arrived to remove and replace damaged wood and shingles. Tony did an amazing job and even painted the wood for us, as we had fresh paint available from a recent paint job. Tony explained the step by step process and was very experienced. Tony went above and beyond the original task and we were extremely pleased with his work. Thank you Tony. I recommend The Bugman for all termite treatment for your home. read more

I have trusted The Bugman for termite control for many years. Joe Sierra is a courteous, conscientious inspector who has completed my yearly inspection for the last two years. This year, in addition to the termite inspection, Joe told me something that I already knew! I badly needed the dry rot wood around my home and patio cover replaced. As much as I trusted this company and Joe, I was very hesitant to have a "termite company" do wood repair work. Am I thrilled I trusted my instincts and decided to, once again, put my faith in The Bugman! If I could give more than five stars to Luis Barron lead carpenter, I would. Luis went over and above the call of duty to repair and replace the rotting wood and facia board around my house. He and carpenter Nathan Harrison were on time, knowledgeable, neat, and respectful. In three days they made my 45 year old home look new again!! It is obvious that they take great pride in their work. I can never thank them enough for a job well-done! Jan Bates Santa Ana read more

This company is Great. Seriously, they tented my best friend's home, a few days ago she was very satisfied. The technician they sent arrived early (he called first to let me know that he would able to come earlier which was appreciated). The technician they sent was super knowledgeable, thorough and professional. Thank God for The Bugman and their great employees, even the young lady that I spoke with in the office was super nice, i.e., great customer service. I did some research on my own about termites and this company is a perfect example of what its like to have an employee help you solve a problem in a timely and professional manner. I would have given "10 Stars" if there was such a rating. My technician's name was David Martinez. He is outstanding in his presentation but will also offer you a viable "HONEST" solution to your problem. I am so happy that I waited to do business with this company. If you want the best give The Bugman a try you will not be disappointed!! read more

I contacted The Bugman for additional assistance. Their customer service is top-notch! Eddie Hernandez came out for my recent call and was able to determine what was going on. He consulted with Mario Munoz, our original tech and together, they created an action plan. Thank you to both of you for all of your help! I really appreciate the collaboration between all of the Bugman techs and inspectors. They keep each other informed and communicate well so it's efficient and there's no confusion. And thank you to General Manager Peter Andres for giving the team the latitude to resolve the situation as they recommended and for supporting them. Mario kept in touch and followed up with me to ensure all was brought to appropriate resolution. Also, thank you to Eli Bryce for his work with the team on this. I have been impressed with The Bugman from day one! Thank you for continuing to be there when I need you and for your professionalism and kindness! read more

Great company! We've been using them for several years and have been extremely satisfied. They are fairly priced, responsive and very thorough. They treated the original termite infestation and since then have had them out a couple of times to check and treat a couple of new spots. We purchased their annual contract which covers and old and new infestations and just had our annual inspection. The tech that did the inspection and work was Ignacio Lopez. What a great guy. He found several new areas that needed treatment and took care of them right away. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. One new spot was in the attic and he was fairly certain they had gained access through the roof vents. He recommended covering the old wide mesh screens with new finer mesh ones to prevent access. It will also keep any bees from staring a hive in your attic. Again, I highly recommend The Bugman and be sure to ask to Ignacio. read more

Had termites and called The Bugman to inspect our house. Ben came out he was great gave us all the info we needed and gave us a very reasonable quote for having treatment and repair done. He was not pushy and gave us the opportunity to check things out and make our decision. We decided to go forward. George came out on Tuesday to fumigate in and out of the house. Nice young man new what he was doing. Very clean and polite. On Thursday the carpenters came out to replace all the bad wood. Daniel M. and Nathan H. came out and they were great, very efficient replaced all the bad wood before putting up the good wood which they painted to match. They cleaned up after they finished and I would not of known they were even here. We were very impressed with the service we received from The Bugman. Would highly recommend The Bugman. We had a conversation with Mary in the office and she was also pleasant and helpful. read more

Our home was tented for termites last year. Eleven months later I noticed some of the wood was not all repaired or replaced by the Bugman prior to tenting. Ben came out to inspect and agreed to do everything. He was very generous and I was very happy. Then, they sent out two different repairmen. The first man did not complete the job. I am writing today about the second repairman, Art Gonzalez. Art really took care in completing the work. Additionally, and without being asked, Art fixed the repair that was done by the first repairman. First, he caulked where a piece of wood was cut too short that left a gap. He also repainted over the entire piece of wood molding (that was previously just spot painted). The woodwork looked remarkably cleaner after he was finished. Needless to say, I would request Art Gonzalez for all future wood repairs on my home. read more

The Bugman, termite and pest control services provider, has provided us their services for almost 15 years. Over the years we have had satisfactory termite and pest control treatment performed by numerous qualified technicians at Bugman. Over the last six months we have had the experience of working with one of their exceptional employees, Luis Barron. Luis is the BEST carpenter I know in the wood repair business. Whenever wood repair services have been needed I have always requested Bugman to schedule Luis for the work and Bugman management has been kind enough to honor my request. I have nicknamed Luis to be the "Rambo" of the trade. He is a conscientious, respectful, focused, hardworking and service oriented carpenter. Luis takes his responsibilities seriously and performs work beyond customer satisfaction. Thank you Bugman and Luis. read more

After discovering we had termites, I researched and had 3 estimates from 3 different pest control companies. I decided on The Bugman to be the one to treat our home. We were given the best inspector, Ben Chavez, He was and is so professional and polite. He was very thorough and explained in detail with a perfect drawing of our home, I was amazed at how precise the drawing was. We signed the contract to have local treatment and comprehensive wood repair, Ben came with the carpenters and walked with them throughout the house. Ben told me that this crew was the best, he was not kidding, Luis, the main carpenter did an amazing job with his helper, Nathan. To top it off everyone we dealt with were very polite and professional. I will continue to have an annual contract with them. We have a custom house and this was the best decision ever. read more
