You can tell there's some real thought and skill going into the bar program. The vibe is also fantastic. Cool, laid-back decor with some awesome portraits of a few absolute GOATs on the walls--Dave Chappelle, Anthony Bourdain, and others. Definitely gives the place some personality and makes it feel like somewhere you actually want to hang out. I didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but I cannot wait to come back for the veggie burger. If the cocktails are any indication of the quality coming out of the kitchen, I'm expecting to be very happy. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and clearly a place that knows how to do things right. I went with 2 eggs sunny side with sliced avocado, 2 sweet cream pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon. The Citrus Heights location is definitely smaller than the Arden location. It's cozy and nice and quiet. The food is always amazing and I will probably come to this location more often.
