3.5 stars Friendly service but slowwww to get food. About 25 minutes from order time to getting breakfast. Prices are reasonable at around $11-$12. I got French toast. My dad got the breakfast burrito. Portions are small. And there are no sides. I'd get the tater tots or something to turn it into a full meal. Taste is fine. Nothing you'll remember though.

The Bistro Burger - $14 as of 6/2021

This is based completely on their burger (which was ordered to go). Checked in at around 8:30pm and was starving! The location of the hotel is close to 3rd Avenue where we were told to avoid SPECIFICALLY after 11pm as it can get quite sketch.... soooo dine in it was! I ordered the Bistro Burger ($14 as of 6/2021 If I recall). This burger was AWESOME as other reviews have mentioned. The burger patty was cooked well and the cheese was perfectly melted. Fries were also great! For the price I could not complain and would 100% order again if I came back!

The food was perfect and service was fast and waiter was super personable! Highly recommend for breakfast. Bit know that it is counter service and then they bring your food. Full Starbucks coffee service.

Egg benedict with side of fruits

Located within the Courtyard hotel, I came here for breakfast while staying at the hotel. Order first and they bring you food. I had eggs benedict and coffee, I would have preferred my eggs to be runny and could have used more sauce but service here was very good. After I ordered my food, they realized they don't have anymore regular English muffin and came to my table sounding really sorry if they could substitute to whole grain English muffin. He sounded so apologetic, I felt bad for making him feel that way. I was just observing staff as I had nothing much to do and noticed a manager working harder than any other staff. I think he was the manager as he was wearing a tie but he would go out and help staff to clean the table and was working harder than any other staff. Server was very friendly too. Breakfast price was reasonable, may not be the best food but I enjoyed their excellent service

Fry trio and the wing platter

Loved the happy hour here at the Bistro while staying at the Courtyard Marriott (Pioneer Square). My husband and I ordered the fry trio that came with different dipping sauces and the wing platter. The fries were so big and crispy! The dipping sauces were nothing special in my opinion but the delicious fries didn't need a dip. The wings come in different flavors, we tried the buffalo and BBQ. They were surprisingly good. Wasn't expecting them to be that good for a hotel restaurant. They were crispy in the outside and juicy on the inside and the platter came with carrots and celery and ranch! So good.

A typical hotel restaurant. Overpriced disappointing food. Service was ok. Food cannot be delivered to your room, so be prepared to go down to get it. Starbucks coffee is available, a decent yogurt and fresh fruit is available in the morning. Staff is friendly, the price and food is not their fault. I wouldn't plan to go here unless you have to. I also wouldn't go here unless you are at the hotel and are a rewards member and have credit or have rewards.

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere captures you: modern décor, intimate lighting, and a warm vibe that feels both upscale and inviting. Everything is immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. If you're a bourbon lover, this place is paradise. Their collection is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is the service. The Bourbon Curators, Ms. Hannah and Mr. Tommy, along with our amazing waitress Ms. Sassy, make you feel like a VIP from start to finish. They welcome you with open arms and create a personalized bourbon journey -- teaching you about flavor profiles, history, and how to discover different palettes you never knew you had. It's not just a drink menu... it's an experience. And the food? Michelin-worthy. We shared the Autumn Chicory Salad and the homemade Autumn Mushroom Pasta -- both beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and perfectly paired with the bourbon experience. Every bite showed off the kitchen's talent and passion. We were actually recommended this restaurant by strangers we met at the Seattle Space Needle -- and wow, did they steer us right. The Ballard's Cut surpassed every expectation. If you love bourbon, phenomenal food, and top-tier service from people who treat you like family, then this is the place. Do not miss it.

I genuinely don't know what to do with that explanation. The food took so long. I ordered my steak medium rare and it arrived overcooked. I thought this was a steakhouse and yall can't even cook a steak medium rare? One person in our party never received their salad despite asking multiple times. Their stupid steak dish is $50 entree with zero sides. I added cauliflower for an extra $17 charge and received something I could have made in five minutes. Finally, we tried to order dessert and were told they were out of the item we all wanted. This place is a ripoff with terrible service.

The space has a warm, modern-industrial vibe, wood floors, soft lighting, exposed ceilings, and thoughtful decorative touches. It's intimate without feeling cramped, and the open kitchen adds a nice energy. Our server was incredibly personable and professional, striking that perfect balance of friendly and knowledgeable. We did the American Omakase. We started with a trio of entry snacks: smoked anchovies, prosciutto with watermelon, and fresh focaccia. The anchovies were punchy and vibrant, definitely for fans of big flavor. The prosciutto and watermelon were refreshing, and the focaccia tasted like it came straight from a great neighborhood bakery. Course 1: Amberjack Crudo Fresh, clean, and beautifully balanced. The tomato compote and rolled vegetables paired so well together, and the flakes of salt on top really opened up the flavor of the fish. Course 2: Diver Maine Scallop Hands down one of the highlights of the night. The scallop was paired with breadcrumbs, oyster mushrooms, and a miso sauce that made the whole dish feel warm, savory, and almost Thanksgiving-like in its comfort. VERY good. Course 3: Pork Belly Served with carrot puree, apple "sauce", and leeks. The pork belly itself was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sweetness of the apple paired perfectly. The leeks were a surprise standout. Course 4: Lamb Rich, moist, and deeply seasoned, with a lovely rub. The artichoke hearts added such a sharp, earthy contrast that it legit gave me goosebumps. The potato purée and jus tied everything together. Course 5, Dessert: Chocolate something (oops it was like a mousse) with Poached Pears & Raspberry Creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. A perfect finish. Overall, Violet delivered a thoughtful, memorable meal with impeccable pacing and standout dishes from start to finish. Would absolutely return

The birthday celebrant was hoping for 1 beef course, but we were given 4 seafood courses and a dry pork belly. All the dishes were plated beautifully but all the dishes did not taste great. Although the scallop and fish were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious, not the the creative and exciting experience the other reviews raved about for the price. Since late 2013 we've delighted in creating an environment that is inviting, lively, and comforting. A sense of playfulness is present in everything we do, from the inventive dishes our culinary team prepares, to the friendly, genuine hospitality we provide. We're a bistro that takes pride in being a neighborhood place - the kind you can escape to at day's end for a delicious meal shared among friends." Ambiance: "Located in the former Le Gourmand space in beautiful Ballard, Brimmer & Heeltap offers an intimate, cozy atmosphere complete with an open kitchen, full bar, and multiple sections to drink and dine in. Our garden patio is one of the best-kept secrets in the city, offering a dreamy place to dine outdoors during Seattle's spring and summer months. We also have a tucked-away back studio that offers the perfect setting for special, private gatherings year-round. Just how many pennies does it take to cover a floor? This dining room, beloved for both its wall of menus and its shining penny floor, is a favorite place to break bread with loved ones, and plays into the restaurant's blend of nostalgic and contemporary design. The restaurant was designed in collaboration with Sean Sifagaloa of KRFTWRK and local builder Mike Marian, owner of Marian Built. Light, texture, metal, wood, and floral elements are all at play here. This historic building possesses a playful, familiar charm that we wanted to preserve in its latest incarnation." What I ordered: Wishing to sample a little of everything, we were served, family style, two orders of Bread ($9 each) - buttered with salt and pepper; Fritto Misto ($12) - assorted, lightly fried and pickled vegetables with tarragon aioli; Smashed Burrata ($19) - snap peas, preserved lemon, mint, basil, sherry reduction; Carrot & Tahini Dip ($16) - caramelized garlic, feta, pistachio, crudite; two orders of Heirloom Tomatoes ($21 each) - melon, chevre, crispy quino, soft herbs; Crispy Potatoes ($16) - whipped feta, hot honey, mint; Mushroom Agnolotti ($34) - roasted maitakes, chanterelles, whipped ricotta, miso butter, thyme; Roast Chicken ($42) - chickpea, berbere yogurt, marinated cucumber, mint gremolata. To finish off our meals, we shared the Olive Oil Cake ($14) - basil yogurt cremeux, strawberry gel, and the Chocolate Tiramisu ($16) - mascarpone, rum, amaretto, candied hazelnuts. What I loved: Oh man, every dish was delightful. I found something to savor and repeat in each of the dishes we were served. From the sweetness of the heirloom tomatoes, to the creamy burrata, from the crispy potatoes, to the fresh peas and everything in between. Our least favorite, at the table was the mushroom Angnolotti, inconsistent from bite to bite. The presentation of the Carrot & Tahini dip was a bit haphazard compared to the rest of the dishes served, but the flavor was still lovely. Why I loved it: The service was unparalleled, comfortable yet professional and quick to offer recommendations for our larger party. The decorations and quaint spaces truly welcoming, and the food, excellent. Cost: High ($40+ per person)
