Super convenient if you are staying at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. You can see the kitchen area and the chef cooking. I came here for breakfast only. They have an a la carte or buffet style. The buffet style is self serve and they had a ton of options. I only wanted the avocado toast and a cup of coffee so I ordered. The sitting is cozy and vast. As far as food goes, this is a typical hotel restaurant and the food is as bad as good as you would expect. Really, nothing exceptional. We went there for lunch. Under no circumstances should you get the pizza rolls though--learn from our mistakes! They weren't cheesy and had no meat--call them carb rolls, not pizza rolls! Service was fine. While the food was reasonably priced... it wasn't exactly very good. At least not all of it. The calamari, burrata, and focaccia appetizers were quite delightful. I got the steak and the jammy egg yolks were to die for and the crispy onions were delicious. The steak itself... awful. Couldn't even chew it it was so tough and I ordered it medium. My coworker got the salmon and ended up getting some kind of food poisoning from it.... I'm sure that part was just a coincidence but really put the icing on the cake. Tip: Join the Yelp waitlist before you head down from your room. We didn't know it'd be so busy on our first day, so ended up having to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. Located inside the Hyatt Regency, we stayed here for a few nights as Hyatt Guest of Honor, so were able to enjoy breakfast every morning. The dining room was nice with table service and a buffet setup. Server always came to take our drink orders and omelette orders, then we would help ourselves to the spread. Host would always give us kids menus and crayons. The options seemed to rotate every other day, but were always decent and filling. Appreciated the fresh fruit options, as well as smoked salmon and cheeses. When I'm staying at a hotel, the restaurants on site are generally the last place I would go. After a busy day walking around the city (and a cruise to get some sleep for), I decided to keep it simple and head to the bar area for a quick drink and bite before calling it a night. (Perhaps a decision worth trying more often!) I grabbed a seat at the bar and the first thing I did was order a Sandia Loca. I'm a big spicy margarita fan so both the tequila and tapatio caught my attention. I requested that it be made with mezcal instead. *insert chef's (bartender) kiss here* This will definitely be my drink of choice any time I'm back out that way. I then ordered the Andare Bruschetta and Cheesy Polenta from the Starters. The bruschetta was the perfect bite of char, light sweetness and the mellowed zip of a chive. The polenta however... That left me wishing it came as a main dish! It was my favorite thing I'd eaten all day. The sausage brought a perfect level of heat and the seasoning was delicious. I expected the eggplant to not work... There's a reason I'm not the chef. I would 10 out of 10 recommend grabbing a bite of this dish as an explosion of flavor on the palate. Andre is a well appointed restaurant in a hotel within walking distance to the Paramount Theater. The bar area has two television perfect for watching seattle sports with drinks and food. The bartenders were friendly but were also managing the bar tables as well. We got the last at the table service before they started requesting customers to come to the bar. I of course had to try the espresso martini, and it was delicious as well as the chicken parm. I swapped the pasta for seasonal veggies and they were fresh and cooked perfectly. One down side is the wine is expensive, more than industry standards. When we have dined in the dining room, we usually bring our own wine to enjoy with a corkage fee. read more

We stayed three nights at the Seattle Hyatt Regency last month and had breakfast at Andare included, thanks to my mother, the Hyatt Globalist. Every morning, we joined the Yelp waiting list from our room then took the elevator down when our table was ready. This helped us avoid the massive pile-up at the host stand. I'm guessing Andare mostly serves hotel guests, but the Regency must be big enough that the restaurant fills up during peak breakfast hours. There was always a line of people waiting just to put their names down for a table. The dining room was nice, attractive and spacious, with a buffet set-up as well as full table service. The staff was polite enough, if not exceedingly attentive. We got what we needed every morning, including kid's menus and crayons for our two little boys. The food was okay. The best thing I had was the PNW omelet, which was small but nice, made with smoked salmon, Boursin cheese, and chives, and served with toast and roasted potatoes. The buttermilk biscuits and country gravy were on the bland side, though I liked the texture of the biscuits. The Italian sausage gravy was kind of insubstantial--plenty of calories, I'm sure, but I wanted more meat. The biscuits also came topped with poached eggs and smoked paprika, and I made liberal use of the jalapeño and habanero hot sauce bottles on the table. The worst thing I ordered was the seasonal fruit plate, which came with citrus, mixed berries, Greek yogurt, and house granola. There was some genuinely terrible fruit on that plate. Our boys did great, though, with the half waffles from the kid's menu. (Surprisingly, they were not into the Nutella crepes.) Andare may not be the best restaurant in Seattle, but it's a convenient place to fuel up if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency. read more

We were checked on often and our drinks were refilled timely. The food is very reasonably priced for a hotel eatery. Lots of variety for breakfast choices. Food was cooked and delivered timely. The waffles are crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Nice buttermilk vanilla flavor. My made to order omelet was served piping hot with generous amount of mushroom, cheddar cheese, and tomato. The avocado toast was underwhelming but healthy :) my oatmilk latte wasn't neat but tasted great :) The seating is comfortable and quiet enough to be able to have a nice conversation even with guests seated at neighboring tables and an open kitchen. We were always seated quickly by the hosts and served with warm, hospitable smiles. We only dined here for breakfast so I'm not sure if the lunch and dinner foods are maybe the reason for the low stars? read more

I live a few blocks away, wanted to try something new, me and my partner found Andare online and it looked good. we both ordered spicy chicken sandwiches, both of us were not pleased, we each ate half, concluded we wouldn't order that again. on a whim thought maybe the tiramisu would redeem the lunch. I took one bite, something seemed very off. not sure how you can mess up a tiramisu, I wasn't sure what it was, but knew I didn't want any more. My partner took three bites trying to figure out what was wrong with it before he stood up and we walked to the counter to pay and leave. what terrible food, and at Seattle prices, it's always so disappointing to pay for gross food. we are both hoping to not get food poisoning from whatever was wrong with that tiramisu. read more

Located on Floor 1 of the Hyatt Regency Hotel, this is usually our go to when finding a place to grab a drink. There is a bar in the front as as you walk past the bar opens up to a large dining area. Low light ambiance, calm, more upscale feel with an Italian themed menu. I recently stayed at this hotel and ate here for breakfast twice and it was fine - got the job done. They have a continental buffet for $19, but for $10 more you can choose between some hot entrees (all you can eat). First, not all the hot entrees are actually offered anymore; I ordered the bruleed oatmeal, and was told to just get the oatmeal from the continental buffet. I also tried the eggs benedict; the eggs were slightly undercooked, as the whites were still a bit jelly-like. The short rib pasta should be added to their regular menu! Our server, Lauren, went above and beyond. She was so good, that we specifically requested her the second and third time we ate there. Three times in a 4-day trip? Yes! Their pizza was perfection, the cocktails were delicious, desserts to die for, and they carried Iniskillin ice wine (if you know, you know.) Not pictured was the bruschetta and Caesar salad and the bruschetta was the best bruschetta I've ever had! Our main dishes were also so good! The menu is simple enough and offers a Lunch Combo of Soup or Salad and 1/2 sandwich for $20. An up charge of $4 allows you to choose a smaller portion of one of their pasta dishes which was still an amazingly generous portion. Our reason for choosing Andare was based on its proximity to The Paramount Theater and online reviews. Just about a 4 minute walk to the venue and the food was delicious. Only stumble was the service which was a bit slow and while the bar was jammed, the tables in the restaurant were less than half full. Service was still polite and efficient. They leave a bottle of water on the table so you can refill your own water, and they added an automatic 18% gratuity to the check for a party of 3, which was odd but fine. Even though the service was a bit slow, I probably would have still left 20% because the math is simple. I imagine if you were in the hotel for dinner you would be headed to Daniel's Broiler. But if you want a tasty lunch at a reasonable price in a nice setting, this is a solid choice. read more

Andrade is an Italian style restaurant that has a select menu of appetizers, pasta, pizza, salads, and entrees. While the menu isn't large, it does have a decent selection that could probably appease most customers. We selected the margarita pizza, tomato soup and tiramisu. We split it and it was enough for us to snack on between meals. The pizza had a nice flavor to it, but the dough was really thin so the toppings pretty much slid off and it got messy...as long as you're aware of that going into it, you can prepare yourself to eat more daintily or "appropriately." The soup, creamy with a nice tomato touch, tasted lovely, and the tiramisu, while on the rich end, left us fulfilled. I enjoyed this venue. They do have a bar that stays open till eleven or midnight but it's for 21 and over. read more
