Corned beef Hash, scrambled eggs, potatoes

Great breakfast. I would recommend this restaurant. We are repeat customers. Always enjoy the food. Waffles are light & fluffy and served hot. Chicken has spicy, crunchy, and served hot. Spice was dry and not like the sauce on a typical Memphis hot chicken dish. The hash was flavorful, served hot, quick & friendly service. Great waitress. Will come back again. Thank you!

Omg!! First time here and hooked! The vanilla cherry Dr Pepper was SSOOOO good! Their sausage gravy was a great flavor or sausage and not too thick! The country fried steak was a huge portion snd so moist even without the gravy but a great crisp on the outside. Home style potatoes was plentiful and flavorful! The chicken and waffle was a great flavor and I can see how they are a pair, never really tried before and looked into it but now I see why its popular!! The waffle had a nice outter crisp and i was able to taste the waffle flavor! The biscuit was so soft and airy... very light. Will be back!! Thank you

Decided to try the new neighborhood breakfast place and ordered for pick up. My partner picked it up and noticed it was pretty packed inside. Once he arrived home, we opened the boxes and his meal was perfect, my meal on the other hand was not. I ordered over easy eggs but got scrambled, I also ordered sausage patties but got bacon. The waffle I order was soggy, which is to be expected with take out but it was definitely disappointing because who wants a soggy waffle? The has browns were not cooked to my liking, very soft and not much crunch to it and not much flavor. All in all, for me, disappointing but still might try again to see if my experience was a one off.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

My first time at The Big Biscuit, and I was very impressed. Nice clean establishment with super friendly staff. We had the absolute BEST waitress ever, Destiny! She was warm and inviting. She even recommended entrees according to our preferences. I had the cinnamon roll pancake platter. And OMG, it was delicious. Light fluffy pancakes with cinnamon swirled throughout it, and drizzled with icing....tasted just like a cinnamon roll! I'll definitely be back and request to sit in Destiny's area. Five star service!

Came on a Saturday @11:15 there was a 25 minute wait once we got seated our waitress Emily didn't take long to greet us ,she was very nice and answered the questions we asked. This is my second time here I got the ranchero omelet wish there was more steak but it was yummy and the biscuit was soft on the inside. It does seem they only have sausage gravy and not gravy just by itself. I didn't have any complaints ,the voice volume was moderate to loud but I heard my own conversation and I also found out they only have deli Turkey.

Went to the big biscuit this morning. It was quite business but they did a good job of getting people in. I think they might have been short handed but I didn't get any kind of feeling like they were upset they were just interested in taking care of their customers the best they could. I got a southern fried chicken with eggs. The eggs were done just like I asked. The home potatoes were very good and didn't need ketchup because they were already seasoned nicely. My gripe with my meal was actually the gravy on my chicken. It was super salty. It wasn't un edible but I scrapped a lot of it off. Overall nice job and I will go back again and try something else as well. Maybe this time something without the gravy.

The ambiance was great as well as the service. This place was packed so there was a slight wait (no biggie) but the food was only ok. You get massive amounts, but there was no flavor to speak of. We will give it another shot on the assumption they were having an off day. :)

No wait at the door and we expected to wait a little so that was a surprise. Packed house and warm atmosphere. Drinks are wonderful full of flavor. Sticky biscuit is on point. Biscuit and gravy and Laredo bowl for the win. We will definitely be back. Come Hungry leave happy Fran was awesome and helpful!

Pancake Platter

Great service, food and atmosphere! There are some brunch places that feel very cramped-- like they are trying to put as many tables together as possible, but I felt like the spacing and amount of tables was good. Kenna was our server and she was attentive and quick! Food was delicious! We got cold brews, a Cowboy Benedict and Pancake Platter -- all huge servings! Overall great and would recommend.

our first time at Big Biscuit was incredible! the Nashville hot chicken biscuit was delicious! we could not get enough of the cinnamon roll pancake. our server was the sweetest and made our experience amazing! we will definitely be back!

Waffle Platter was delicious crispy, golden, and topped with a perfect scoop of butter and powdered sugar. The eggs, bacon, and hash browns were cooked just right. Great service and cozy vibes. Definitely coming back for breakfast again!

The patio space in the front was very secluded and lush, we had it entirely to ourselves. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. They even brought out a water bowl with ice for our pups. We loved our drinks. My espresso martini was boozy and not too sweet with a love whipped topping on top. Her Road to Hana was very refreshing and the pineapple tajin garnish hit the spot. Quick shout out to the dinner rolls and butter. I was starving so this held me over while our shareables came out. The Spicy Caesar was nice, loved the hit of heat that came with it. The Chicken Pepperjack Strudel, a signature dish, was really really good. Just wish it was warmer in the center but yea definitely order this. Juan's queso is not a typical queso dish. First, it's real cheese and it comes with a black bean puree, salsa verde, and avocado thinly sliced on top. We loved it, especially my wife. I came here with a large group of about 8 of us with a reservation made early on. We were seated in a nice, private room and had an overall very lovely experience! First of all, our server Trey was just spot on with all of his recommendations. He recommended the crab cakes, the halibut, and anything that came with the spicy shrimp risotto. Our table got crab cakes to start, and this was probably my favorite dish of the evening! The crab cake was large, fluffy, and full of lump crab topped with a spicy and delicious salsa verde and pico. For the entree I ordered the halibut which was cooked well, but the side of spicy shrimp risotto definitely stole the show (as Trey accurately predicted). Most of our party ordered this and everyone was pretty happy with it! For dessert, our table shared chocolate cake and the coconut creme pie. The chocolate cake was very rich and was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've had, and I'm not a big chocolate cake person. I still definitely preferred the coconut creme pie, which I would order again next time! Our service was fantastic for the evening, and when Trey tells you to order something, trust him and do it!

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety.
