This was an unfortunate experience. I had a to-go order and had to wait 30 minutes after the time it was promised to be ready. The sandwhiches we received were so sad. I was planning on coming back and trying breakfast/brunch sometime but the customer service is SO poor and they even admit they are understaffed, I don't want to endure that even if the breakfast food is better than the sandwhiches. Also, I'm pregnant and felt like I was held hostage waiting for my food I had paid for without being able to use the restroom. If you can't provide food somewhat close to the time promised, don't keep people from the restroom. Rarely to restaurants make people wait that long for to-go orders. They weren't even nice about it and blamed it on management/owners. read more

Hooked from the first visit, 5 stars on everything from service to food to presentation. Found this gem visiting my kids in Okc. This is their new go to, you should support this family owned business. You won't be disappointed, it's outstanding !! We had The Bacocado omelette and the chipotle omelette with pulled pork verde sauce that you could eat by itself, and the French toast was perfect texture and delicious. Don't allow the construction in the area deter you. Staff amd atmosphere were nice. We sat immediately and menu had several options. I love they have a "not so hungry" section as this is a great addition when you want a smaller nibble. Food was so good. Oh and a large mimosa is one you don't want to miss. This is a good little cafe for breakfast and brunch. Service is really friendly and attentive. Food is generally good however this last visit was disappointing. I ordered the Denver omelette and it seemed like the toppings were old. The shredded beef was dry like jerky, toast was cold and the hash browns were way undercooked. I guess it sat under a warmer. I had high hopes about this place as my brother was in town visiting and said he read a good review about it. The decor is very eclectic and kitschy...it looks like they furnished it with goodwill. Which is not a negative thing, in my book...just a specific aesthetic. Upon first glance, I was impressed by the menu and its extensive offerings. Everything sounded very good and we were hungry having a late breakfast. I ordered an iced french vanilla latte to drink and it was pretty good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate a sweet, well balanced latte. The waitress seemed panicked from the moment she introduced herself. She was kind and polite, but you could tell she wanted us to hurry up so she could get to her other tables. I think the poor girl was maybe the only person serving our party of three and another party of like 15 that came in, so it was clear she was overwhelmed. The ordering process felt very rushed and the moment we stopped talking, she launched towards the back. I've served for over 20 years, so I have compassion for being "in the weeds", but the key to good service is to not make the customer bear the weight of your urgency, in my opinion. Nonetheless, we ordered our food with anticipation. I was excited that they offered eggs Benedict in several different forms, but I ordered it the old fashioned way with hash browns as my side. The food took a reasonable amount of time to cook. Once we received our meals, everything looked really good. As I cut into my eggs Benedict, I realized the egg wasn't fully poached (it was still gooey) and the meat they used wasn't actual Canadian Bacon, but rather a sliced deli meat. I'm assuming it was ham. It looked like they pulled it straight out of a package from Walmart and slapped it on the English muffin. The food was just not good and definitely not worth the price. My brother got an omelet and there was cheese on top, but it was literally a sliced cheese laid on top of the omelette and it wasn't even fully melted. I respect this establishment as it is a small business and I give them kudos for what they did well. I would recommend they reduce their menu selections and focus on offering better quality ingredients for the items they serve. As for the service, it's a human experience. Some days are good and some days are bad. My only recommendation is that if you're "in the weeds" let your table know that you just got sat with a big top and you need to catch up, but you're going to take great care of them. That feels much better than feeling rushed. All in all, I don't envision myself coming back to this place unless I hear some significant changes are made regarding the quality of ingredients in their food. read more

We came here upon the suggestion of a friend - good reviews help point people to new local eateries. We were greeted and seated promptly early on a Saturday morning. It was busy, but not overly so; therefore, we had no wait. Our waitress was helpful as we made our choices from a pretty extensive menu. There is something for all tastes and appetite levels here. We tried the dude's chicken biscuit (my favorite bite of the day), a light pancake meal, and the chorizo tacos. Very friendly, family owned haven nestled in Northwest Edmond. Great place if you're looking for something just a little different for breakfast/lunch. Everything we've had has been delicious. Apparently, we tried them in November 2023 and I didn't post and have been back recently. So you'll see pics from both visits. What stood out were the croissant beignets, kings Hawaiian roll French toast and anything with the chicken dude's chicken. IT'S MARINATED IN PICKLE JUICE!!!! So yum, crispy and oh so juicy! Another hidden, locally owned treasure! We were looking for breakfast close to us and decided to try. The staff greeted us immediately. Amanda was friendly and very helpful. The menu was plentiful but now overwhelming. Several interesting items. Selected the egg over a tamale with pork green chili over it and topped with queso fresco. Not a Latin restaurant, but my word what a great, flavorful meal. My wife had the eggs benedict with salmon which she loved. The coffee was better than most and served in 16oz mug. I ordered the beignets, build your own omelet with hash browns and an iced caramel macchiato. The beignets were doughy and should not be offered. The omelet had sausage, spinach, green peppers and shredded cheddar. It wasn't bad, I would give it a 6 out of 10 it was overly stuffed with veggies. Hash browns were a bit mushy. Just a word of caution, if you don't have very strong stomach. The fried/pickle marinated chicken can leave your belly a bit upset so keep that in mind. I spent 30.00 here to day to be told there was no tea left for a refill. The male waiter, who has waited on me before, is absolutely nothing to be excited about. His waitering skills stink and he does not listen. He did not offer me a refill of my tea early on. When I asked for a refill I was told we are all out. Because of the bad service, I asked for the 3.00 tea to be taken off my bill. I met a lot resistance on this and the management turned the situation back on me making it my fault. Being in management myself, if it is one thing I have learned, it's that the customer is right. This restaurant ownership made a mountain out of a mole hill. I like their food. Went here this past Sunday. We were promptly greeted and seated. It wasn't too busy inside. The hostess and waiter were nice. I got biscuit and gravy with white sausage gravy, cheesy hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sourdough toast, and an order of berries and cream French toast. Sister got the Colorado omelette. The sausage gravy had a weird tangy taste to it that I just couldn't get with. I tried about 3-4 small bites and it was just a no for me. The hash browns were delicious and seasoned well with some onion flavor. The bacon was cooked fine too. The French toast was okay, nothing special to write about. Maybe the bread couldn't gotten an extra dip in the mixture before grilling, idk it was just mid. Even with all that I was okay with my meal. That was until I discovered a strand of hair in my eggs. I was so grossed out. I let the waiter know and he immediately took the plate away. He asked if I wanted it remade and I declined ( it wasn't that good to where I'd want to keep eating). I had my French toast anyway so that would be fine. The hostess maybe the manager came and apologized and let me know it would be removed from my ticket. She additionally asked if I wanted something else, again I declined and was just happy with the French toast and bacon. Sister enjoyed her omelette. The water here isn't very good either. Overall I appreciate the quick response by the staff. I was enjoying my food until the unfortunate hair incident. I know accidents and mistakes happen. Considering I love 30 min away and was just out that way for AAU basketball I doubt that I'd return. read more

We waited 10 minutes to be seated, which is fine, but now were 40 minutes until we get our food. Never were we checked on. Confused on whether they lost our order. Sadly, once the food arrived, my daughter's food had a burnt taste. Typically always try a place at least 3 times, but with today's service I don't think we will be back. Amazing service and amazing food! I didn't get a picture because I was so focused on diving right into the food! I got the a banana avocado smoothie with the Spinach Mushroom Omelette with potatoes and a side of French toast. The hollandaise sauce covered the omelette and it was AMAZING! My mom couldn't stop eating off of my plate too. The smoothie was also very creamy and the ingredients tasted so fresh. My mom had the triple berry french toast with a side of scrambled eggs. She said her waffles were light and fluffy and she finished the whole meal. Reese was a very attentive and sweet server and Ms. V constantly checked on us and made sure everything was just right!
