We took our son in law to this restaurant in downtown Edmond. The moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly and sat us immediately. Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items. read more

Why? The burgers. Unfortunately they did not seem to be fresh, seasoned well or made in house and were undersized for the buns. The bacon and cheeses seem to do the heavy flavor lifting but wasn't quite enough. The rest of the entrees were fine (cheesesteak & caprese sandwiches, the spinach salad). It is a great location, the service and drinks from the bar were good. read more

Love this spot for lunch. Great food & service in downtown Edmond! It's fun & casual dining.

If I lived or worked in the area I would frequent this establishment! It would be great for after work, lunch, an informal but fun dinner etc....today I met my clinical students there for a fun and tasty check in. The staff is well trained, fun, friendly, and work well together. The Indoor ambiance is great, although a bit acoustically cluttered (it can be noisy and all the noise collects in the main seating area), but there is outside seating if thats an issue (yay!). read more

Wonderful spot to enjoy a yummy meal!. We enjoyed the cheese fries and a couple sandwiches at a late dinner. We will have to come back again to the other menu items soon. read more

Vibe is still just as cool. Totally feels like a neighborhood bar. True story.... I sat at the bar because I was dining alone for a late lunch. Dude sat down next to me and literally told me he was the Norm (from Cheers) of this place. I was dying to have the portobello sandwich but alas it was no longer on the menu. I went with the BLT and fries instead. BLT was good and I appreciated the gouda on it. The fries were just OK and a bit cold. Service was good. read more

I've gone to mule plenty of times and it's always a fave. They are consistent in both food and service. I never have a complaint other than their long waits. This is my first time seeing and trying their brunch menu. They have great brunch options and the brunch bowl I got was great. The bowl with loaded with queso and potatoes. It was very filling and just enough food. read more

Amazing bloody mary's! Love the cheese curds and the tomato soup/grilled cheese appetizer ( which I eat as a meal). The staff is super cool and the vibe is completely enjoyable!! I'd bring anyone to this place... it's always on point. read more

Our second go around here. The scenery here pretty much suits a cafe with a bar, tvs and decent music. Service was good, somewhat complacent but friendly and prompt when they need to be. I had the daily special which was a buffalo chicken wrap, which included blue cheese dressing and a side of tater tots. Nothing to complain about. read more

Wow! This place has such a cool, rustic, cozy vibe with awesome sandwiches, soups, and drinks! One of the best Reubens ever had and the tomato soup was incredible! Our server Sam was wonderful too! Place is decorated very festive for holidays! Can't wait to go back! Only bad part was we were freezing because their heater wasn't working! But highly recommend otherwise. read more

I have been to this business a few times. The food is always good, and tasty. My visits were spaced apart and at different times. The service staff was very friendly and quick. There were no dirty unused tables in the restaurant. I will be going back as soon as I am able. Thank you for the wonderful experience. read more

Stopped by The Mule and had such a good experience. The service was amazing. I didn't catch our server's name, but she had short brown hair, glasses, and tattoos and was so kind and accommodating. I'm on a strict protein regimen right now and even though it's not a menu item, they had no problem making me a simple chicken breast by itself. That meant a lot. I also ordered a peach flavored ginger beer mocktail and it was honestly the best. I did some homework while I was there and the vibe was relaxed and comfortable. Definitely recommend. read more

One of the best restaurants in Oklahoma. Wonderful food and drinks and the service is always top notch.

Very nice place. We got cheese curds and WOW! They are great, with the ranch. 10/10 The root beer is different but still very good. Onion rings are honestly amazing a little salty but good! Everything we ate was very good. We will be coming back here again And the service is good very friendly staff. read more

We love The Mule. It's usually crowded so that is a great sign. My wife and I generally have lunch here 3-4 times a month. We have done dinner here too if it's not too crowded. Great sandwiches and super salads. My only criticism is that the onion rings are greasy and so are the tots. read more

Whyyyy did I wait this long to try this Edmond hotspot?! The second I saw the Cortez sandwich on the menu my jaw dropped. Jalapeño cornbread with delicious short rib?! Um, YES. The Chef salad and kids grilled cheese were classics and the boys devoured them. Our server was a sweetheart and super personable. I didn't love sitting outside, but the inside was packed. Don't sleep on this place like I did! I'll be back soon to have another Cortez most definitely! read more

You won't be disappointed when you try this place! All of their sandwiches are so good and they don't skimp on the ingredients which is always a plus. They have more than sandwiches here but why would you get anything else? If you do get something other than a sandwich, no judgment, I'm sure it'll be great as well! Service was good and food came out pretty quickly considering how crowded it was. read more

I am a long time customer of The Mule and it never disappoints. I really enjoy this locations outdoor patio ; especially with friends in these warmer months. I always get the French Dip sandwich / and tater tots + ranch for dipping. Service is cheerful , bartenders always have good beer recommendations. I've enjoyed everything they've selected. 1 docked only because the parking is sometimes a headache but I don't mind a walk ‍ read more

This restaurant has excellent sandwiches and their portions are massive. The poutine (listed as an appetizer) was massive and enough for a meal maybe - the fried green tomatoes appetizer was also quite good. I got the French Dip sandwich which was great - and you. An get a side like a salad or tater tots. Their iced teas are also excellent, and service was prompt and attentive in refilling those drinks. Spacious and cool artsy interior with stylish posters and decorations. Definitely recommended if you are in Edmond! read more

Top-notch, must-visit spot in OKC. While on a business trip, I visited the Edmond location on the recommendation of a coworker. The "Sandies" (sandwiches) menu is not super huge but you WILL have a hard time picking because everything sounds amazing. I opted to go with the Fancy Pants, which consisted of roasted chicken thighs, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, pears, basil pesto, and balsamic reduction--delicious! For my side I had the black bean soup, which was super flavorful and had a kick to it. The only downside is there were no beans in it; just the soup/broth. Three of my coworkers had the Macaroni Pony, which they all loved but admitted was too much food. If go with that sandwich, consider only eating half, otherwise you're going to be in a food coma afterwards. Staff was friendly. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the bar without issue. Overall, great lunch spot with awesome food. They sell some merch, too! read more

Both of my experiences here amount to just okay. Okie poutine is pretty good. Worth trying once but not something I would seek out. Flavorful cheese curds. Gravy isn't super strong or heavy which works in its favor. Fried cheese curds were pretty gross. Greasier than state fair food, many of the fried balls didn't actually even have cheese. The grilled cheese appetizer was pretty disappointing (literally 2 pieces of white bread and maybe 2 pieces of American cheese). Tomato soup was actually really good. I'd recommend trying that if you go. CBLT was good but wasn't really anything special. First time I went, I had a great time sitting at the bar. The bartender was nice and willing to chat or leave me alone so shoutout to him. Was pretty much always available if I needed something. The vibe was great, esp with the decorations behind the bar. Second time I sat outside and service was poor. The girl who was waiting on my table seemed to be teaching a new waitress so that could affect things, but she did not involve the newer waitress at all and was pretty rude when speaking to us. We waited for a while after eating for the check and a box. We also asked about happy hour prices and ordered drinks and apps. We were surprised by how big the appetizers were, but at the end realized that she gave us the happy hour drinks but two full size appetizers. Then she explained to us that happy hour appetizers are smaller and she couldn't take them off the bill, even though that is what we tried to order in the first place. I guess I should've asked when they arrived so it's partly my fault! read more

The Mule has a nice atmosphere, but overall, it didn't meet my expectations. I started with queso for the table, which arrived lukewarm--already a disappointing start. It was a busy night, and our server was barely around, though she was polite and did apologize. Thankfully, we only ordered water and took our time sipping. The biggest issue was the food itself. Our meals arrived cold, which wasn't the server's fault, but the kitchen should know better. On a positive note, I did appreciate the alternative menu options, such as gluten-free and wrap alternatives. Unfortunately, the food was subpar and not worth a return visit. This was my first and last time dining at The Mule in Edmond. read more

The Mule was absolutely great. From the service, to the environment to the food. I was greeted immediately upon arrival. The staff were very friendly. There was a large variety of drinks. Great specialty drinks and a variety of "mules;" hence the name. The Cosmic Disco was a very unique drink, all things Mediterranean. It was very tasty. The food was well seasoned with lots of fresh flavors. The beer battered cheese curds are a must try. The Mule Club was one of the best club sandwiches that I've had. If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit to The Mule. You will be very happy that you decided to stop in. read more

Can't rave enough about the Mule's salads. It doesn't matter what you get they always taste fresh off the farm. My favorite is the Cobb. The food was decent - but would have been better if it was warm. The fries were barely lukewarm. The server seemed overwhelmed but didn't appear to have many tables. It was quite loud and busy. The food was good, the prices were reasonable and the SERVICE was GREAT!!
