And the biscuit? Easily one of the best I've ever had. If you're in OKC and looking for a laid-back spot with great food and good energy, this place is definitely worth checking out. I got the tequila sunfryz and there was barely any pork on it and egg was snotty rather than runny. The chopped cheese egg rolls had no flavor and were soggy. This place was very good. We were greeted upon arrival and were directed to our large party of about 14. Our waitress Mel was extremely nice and attentive. The food is 10/10. I got the french pigs and they are big and you get plenty of them. The sausage was good as well as the french toast that it was wrapped in. The appetizer pulled pork waffle fries were so good. Yum. This was my first visit. Let me first clarify I don't eat this type of food, so I am in no way saying the food was in quotes bad. It's not my cup of tea. Service: 10/10. I love banter and joking. Stopped in here passing through from North TX to Stillwater and back down again. Food was delicious. Server recommendations were excellent. My boys ages 9 and 11 went to get change for the pool table and the staff just gave them the money. If we are ever up here again, we will stop by again. This place was top notch! The menu was large almost overwhelming and took longer to decide what we all wanted but it was nice to have so many choices with multiple options that sounded good. Guyutes is described as an Elevated Street Food restaurant. I did find this this place quite interesting but definitely not my atmosphere or style of food. However, our group of six decided this was the place we were going to have dinner So who am I to argue, I'll always try a place once. One quick thing I liked was the touchless menu, a quick scan of the QR code and you are reading the menu! The Appetizers were quite interesting and ultimately we choose the Orka-home and the Tequila Sunfryz. The okra did not deliver. I expected the okra to be more on the crispier side and they weren't. I think the group agreed with me since there were some left on the plate. Not the same for the Tequila Sunfryz - they were a huge hit! The plate was demolished in no time! The only thing I would recommend is to have the fried egg cooked just a bit longer so it wasn't snotty. Besides that it was a great concept. This is as pace I think I could return for and have on the patio with a cold drink! There were definitely decisions to be made in the entree selection. Our server described the special of the day - a grilled cheese sandwich on rye bread and that was between two burgers that wasn't for me. I picked The Strange Design - it consisted of smoked bacon, Geona salami, lettuce, tomato, red onion, with the house guacamole, spicy mayo, inside a spinach tortilla. Not to brag but I think I made the best selection! I also added onion rings and I gotta admit those were crispy & tasty To be honest I almost chose The Guyute which one in our group did and he throughly enjoyed. I have enjoyed every single visit to Guyutes! Whether it's brunch, lunch, or dinner! Among my favorite Guyutes highlights would be the Sweet Pete cocktail(did not get a picture sadly, but it was phenomenal), tequila sunfryz(but honestly I have yet to find an appetizer there that would ever disappoint), and the chimi-choroo smothered in Queso! Talk about a deluxe meal! Their space is wonderful, we spent hours hanging out and visiting with old friends, never once felt rushed or like we were in the way, that's always appreciated! Heading back to Dallas, we stopped in for a late night bite on a Sunday night around 10:30pm. Worth it! Worth it! Worth it! Really great service from the moment we walked in! The hostess got us seated immediately and our server was right over! They were both amazing! We got the Tequila Sunfryz and subbed out the pulled pork for the disco chicken! The sunny side up egg really added an extra level to this dish and brought it all together! I got the Franklins tower and the layered mash with sautéed spinach and layered bbq chicken was tasty and perfectly seasoned! Not pictured was the Return of the Mac! Always come to this place for a great rooftop option but not today. Asked if it would be okay to be seated on the rooftop which was immediately frowned upon by the host seating us as he did not want to go 'up and down the stairs' he said. Was SO rude bringing us up there and then made snarky comments as we made our way down to leave after our meal. I know everyone has a bad day, but perhaps customer service isn't for Barrett. Normally would look past a weird encounter like this but it was off putting to hear comments like "the rooftop wasn't that fun huh" after our lunch. Our server Christian definitely made up for the strange interaction. He was kind, attentive, funny, and excellent at his job- even in the Oklahoma heat. We got the traffic light appetizer, which is always a great option, the Walfredo pizza, which was saucy and cheesy and very yummy, and the Cubano sandwich, which I think is a special right now, but they should consider adding it to the menu permanently because it was delicious. Frankly everything could be improved. The food was terrible, the service was terrible. The waitress kept getting way too close to me and other people at the table. She was reaching way over the table literally breathing down my neck. Considering everyone is getting sick these days peoples personal space should be respected not invaded. I got the ring of fire pizza it was terrible and soggy. I had someone get a pork belly it legit tasted like tuna on an ocean of garlic. Both dishes were sent back. Also they charge a 20% fee for bigger tables that was never mentioned when I called beforehand. Considering I called beforehand to talk to someone and let them know we were coming in and this was never mentioned nor is it on their website is insane. Also a lot of us were paying separate and they still charged each of us on our own individual tickets that 20% charge. I also want to state that we were never given a handheld menu. We were told to scan the QR code and when I looked on the online menu I did not see anywhere where it states we were going to be charged a gratuity fee.
