I encourage those in OKC that might need to step outside the chicken fried box on occasion to give them a chance. You will find the people friendly and helpful...a great vibe to hang out and enjoy...and absolutely amazing food!!! The bacon cheeseburger (with coconut bacon no less) was an absolute treat, and the potato wedges were crisp and well seasoned. SO...OKC...put down the CFS menu and try something different and new...I will be visiting again with future trips to beautiful OKC!!

Can I say that? It's the best home cookin' (and it's vegan!!?) I've ever had. If I lived in OKC I'd eat this once a week. The owners are lovely, communicative and generous. I came near closing time and she didn't hesitate to take care of me. Also I don't know what kind of cookie this is but it's exactly crispy enough AND gooey enough and the flavor combo is unlike any cookie I've ever had. It's perfection. This place is a gem and their food is unreal. (This food deserved to be plated but I've included the pic in to-go containers none the less)

There's also plenty of parking in the area which I appreciate so much, making it effortless to get to Red Rooster! We had two vegetarians in our party, and we really appreciated the variety of the menu, including many vegetarian options! We ordered the migas, the veggie Benny, and the biscuit & gravy bowl. Everything looked amazing, and our party was very content with the food. Their waffle sounded amazing but we didn't get to try it unfortunately, so that will be on our list for next time. Our waiter was nice and attentive. From the coffee to our meals, we had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more of their brunch menu!

The staff at the counter was friendly and welcoming, which set a nice first impression. However, the wait time was longer than expected -- about 30 minutes for our order. I had a half West Coast turkey sandwich with a cup of tomato soup, while my fiancé ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwiches were good and clearly made fresh. The tomato soup was flavorful but leaned a bit too tangy for my personal taste and had a lot of tomato chunks, which may be a plus for some. Overall, a decent spot with good food, though the long wait was a drawback.

Keep in mind all main courses include fries and drink. Don't forget to stop by the bar and sample their bar snacks. The burgers are huge. I really enjoyed the savory buttery garlic buns. Some of the burgers can be over the top in flavor, but they are amazing. The wings are cooked to perfection. I was little offset on the looks of them thinking that they were breaded....but they were exceptional. Here is where we are at the 4.5 star rating. I would love for those wings to be turned in a hot sauce before breading and frying. It would be a good spicy offering. Accordingly, Biglows has his own sauce that is served with burgers. It would be awesome if they offered them to toss wings in it or at least have it on the side. If you're looking for quality, Biglow's has it. Exceptional handmade beef patties as well as super quality wings that are large. Along with my 4.5 star rating, the seating arrangement is needing. If you are tall, watch your head for the hanging lamps that used to cover tables. Also with my 4.5 star rating, I wanted to buy a t-shirt and a hat, but the server was unsure if they sold them and thought they were more for display??? They advertise that their fries are cooked in beef. Tallow which I felt I could taste. They were amazing and cut to perfection. Overall, 4.5 star rating and I will be back! Thank you, Biglow's!
