Kale salad
Jim C.

Interesting building inside. Service was great. Food was good, not great - kale salad had a lot of kale, not enough of other stuff, the Southern salad I think was better, but the short rib in that, though tasty, was drier and tougher than I like. Wings were good but a little dry inside, not as good as Rivière Banh Mi's wings.

Press Cobb as a Wrap

I got the Press Cobb as a wrap and it's so cool they have this as an option! You can turn any salad into a wrap! It literally was so good I'm still thinking about it. The French fries were amazing as well as the deviled eggs!! Will definitely come back for this exact meal.

We ventured out today for lunch after being home bound due to a winter storm that rolled in last Friday. We decided on The Press in the Plaza District. Good choice! All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. You can't go wrong by dining at The Press.

Very imPRESSed!!!!! to say the least. This is like my backyard over here grew up as a kid right down the street and to see how things have changed and to watch this Plaza grow is really inspiring. Now onto the food I've eaten here several times, but this is by far the best thing that I've had the black and catfish was so good! Our awesome bartender gave me the great suggestion because you know I love Cajun food lol the service was really amazing! And you know you can't go wrong with the vibe of this place for a breakfast brunch or dinner! Love coming here

The press is one of my favorite places to eat in the plaza. They serve brunch all day and have a great menu. The chicken sandwich is a large portion and is one of my favorites, along with the buffalo mac!

We had dinner at The Press in Oklahoma City around 8:30 p.m. and found it to be a real gem. The restaurant was quiet and tastefully decorated, with a couple of TVs by the bar that weren't at all distracting. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. On her suggestion, we both ordered the pot roast, and oh my goodness... it was incredible. Pure comfort food at its finest. We couldn't stop raving about it! Taylor also mentioned that their Cobb salad and quesadillas are phenomenal, and I have no doubt the rest of the menu has plenty of winners. She noted the place is often quite busy and lively earlier in the evening, which I was glad to hear because a spot this good deserves a long, successful run. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and absolutely delicious food. The Press has my full endorsement.

The press is a comfort food staple in OKC! A gem in the plaza district with sweet vibes! While it's not your grandma's flavor, it's decent American comfort food with a modern vibe! Great place for family dinner or lunch with friends! The service is pretty good and the food is always ready in good timing!

This may be one of the best restaurants in town when accounting for multiple things like decent Southern options, flavor, consistency, price, and lastly, value (i.e., quality with respect to price). The Press Cobb may be one of the better salads (if not the best) in town. Filling, flavorful, and packed full of good ingredients; something to be especially appreciated in this shrinkflationary economy where every other restaurant bilks you by either cutting portions/ingredients while also simultaneously jacking prices up. Also, their fries are truly delightful. Honestly, I've never had a bad thing yet. Never change, the Press. My heart would probably break because you're like... one of three reliable (reliable in the sense that you can trust that you won't be disappointed) local restaurants at this point.

House Tots

The food was so fresh and so delicious! We went at lunch. The kids split a pancake plate. I had the Green Chili Soup and Cobb Salad combo and it was all very fresh. My husband had the Breakfast Hash that he enjoyed. Try the house tots appetizer (we got the chili and queso version) because it was amazing! Neat atmosphere and big portion sizes too.

Impressed with their comfort food! The restaurant has a very cozy family atmosphere. We got there during a super busy time but were seated very quickly. I got the chicken sandwich and my bf got the steak and both of the meals were yummy!

Big Boi Burrito

Such a treasure buried on a side street in the Plaza district. Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff await you behind the colorful teal door into this establishment. I've been here twice and each time leaves me looking forward to my next visit. Adriana was our server last time and did an amazing job. Quick to keep our coffees topped off and full of information about the food items I was considering. I had the Big Boi Burrito, and it was very filling and yummy. My friends chose the Press Cobb and Breakfast Bomb. They were both very pleased and stated there was many options on the menu they would be interested in trying.

We've eaten at the Press several times recently and it was delicious both times. Great service even though we were on the back patio furthest from the door. Everyone's drinks we good, and the food even better.

Great food and the back patio was perfect for dining with 3 small children. They had gluten free bread, which was a bonus for our daughter.

Just show up! Obviously expect to wait a little bit during standard busy times, but I've been here numerous times and never made a reservation.
