    Greek Salad with chicken kabobs
    Julie S.

We've been trying to eat keto lately (for hot girl summer lol), so Mediterranean sounded perfect. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and they were nice enough to tell us not to worry about rushing to eat. We got 2 Greek salads with chicken kabobs, mine without feta cheese. Most of the chicken was succulent except I had one overcooked piece. I didn't love the spring greens with it, but I blinked and hubs inhaled his entire plate! The tzatziki was on point. I'd definitely come back for the chicken kabobs again, even with the one burnt piece. The ambiance is cozy, and there's plenty of parking. Easy way to eat keto if you're aiming for that. :) Hold the pita, of course.

I know this restaurant has been in Edmond for years, my first time here. Great food and service, I forgot to take the picture of Baba Ghanoush, like he said, best in town. Best lentil and roasted pepper soup I ever had.

    Footprints.

This has been a favorite in the past. But recently it has declined. Today, the beef kebabs were barely seared (raw). In general, the rest of the food was not as good as before. Also there were a child's foot prints on the table and adult footprints on the toilet seat. Sadly we will not likely return.

Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, Shawarma Chicken Platter and Greek Salad! Delicious best in Edmond. Make sure to get garlic sauce Amazing!

The food is absolutely amazing! The seasoning is out of this world good! Everything is healthy Magid the owner treats you like family as soon as you walk through the door, Service is always friendly. My wife and I have personally witnessed the chef Aed walk out to meet and greet customers. I have witnessed many times while I am dinning in the restaurant more customers walk through the door and immediately see the friendliness, in the greetings of all customers especially the littlest ones (children)and that makes us smile! Stop here to get amazing food and a family atmosphere where everyone can feel welcome and at home! By far the best Mediterranean food in Edmond Oklahoma. Simply Falafel also offers military discount every time! Imagine; great healthy food, a family style atmosphere where you plus your loved ones feel welcome and at home dinning for lunch or dinner it's priceless! Hands down best Mediterranean food in Edmond! Tell them Neal and Natalie sent you from Yelp! Enjoy!

This place is hidden but worth visiting for the atmosphere. I had a delicious lunch with exceptional customer service.

Absolutely amazing food. Very clean and well managed. This is our new food spot. Our daughter loves the food as well. 5 stars across the board.

The owner (right) and his cousin. They make you feel right at home!

This is our favorite restaurant in Edmond but living out of town, we don't get here often. The food is always perfect. The falafels are always light and crispy. Today they had just made some cabbage rolls so my husband ordered that. I had to have a falafel and gyro platter. However, these two men are why this place is so special! Old world hospitality art it's finest! Love these guys!

    Too late!

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.

This is my first time seeing and trying their brunch menu. They have great brunch options and the brunch bowl I got was great. The bowl with loaded with queso and potatoes. Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
