We arrived 15 minutes before closing and they were nice enough to tell us not to worry about rushing to eat. We got 2 Greek salads with chicken kabobs, mine without feta cheese. Most of the chicken was succulent except I had one overcooked piece. I didn't love the spring greens with it, but I blinked and hubs inhaled his entire plate! The tzatziki was on point. I'd definitely come back for the chicken kabobs again, even with the one burnt piece. The ambiance is cozy, and there's plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and engaging with their customer. The Gyro platter was delicious. Meat is flavorful and tender. But other than that, for the side salad, the vinaigrette is more lemony than I like. Lastly, I didn't quite like the rice, very bland and wasn't fragrant compared to others. All I wanted was something to eat- a quick bite between errands- when I spotted Simply Falafel from the Target parking lot. I had no idea what I was in for! Simply put, Simply Falafel delivered on one of the best gyro sandwiches I've ever had. The meat was tender and full of flavor, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crisp, and the yogurt sauce perfectly tart and saucy. Also, pickles. I had the mujaddara for my side, on which I drizzled some of the yogurt sauce. It was wasn't bright or punchy; it was warm and comforting. It's rare to taste food that has been prepared with love and care, such that when you eat it you feel nourished. The gyro sandwich at SF is *this*. Must be good people... The staff was friendly and quick to serve, and the prices were reasonable. I wish I lived closer; this would be a new regular stop for me, based on today's experience alone. read more

I recently dined at simply Falafel , and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable due to the poor customer service. Upon arrival, we were ignored for several minutes before being seated. Once we were at our table, it took ages for a server to approach us. When she finally did, she seemed rushed and uninterested in answering our questions about the menu and she is poorly speaking English . After placing our food order, we waited 15 minutes for our meals, and she finally appeared with the wrong order. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but the lack of communication and basic customer care was disappointing. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I used to love this restaurant, but something is happening in the kitchen with the cook(s). I always order the same thing and the food items have been steadily going downhill for a year or so. The cabbage rolls, which were always my favorite, have been slimy (obviously overcooked) and overloaded with tart lemon juice to the point that I can't even pretend to eat them. The chicken in the chicken shawarma is rock hard like bullets, and the kibbeh is hit and miss (more miss as of late). As my mom calls it, this is Simply Fa-awful. read more

The owner works the restaurant floor to make sure all the guests are happy and from what I could see he has a very loyal following. We walked in and the owner Magid was so friendly and accommodating. We told him it was our first time to his restaurant and he basically ordered for us. I highly recommend letting him choose what you eat. We were super satisfied with his choices. We got the falafel appetizer and my fiancée got the Greek salad. My plate was incredible. The veggies and chicken were so flavorful and the hummus was out of this world fresh. My fiancée who doesn't like hummus was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the hummus. My fiancée got the chicken kebabs with the rice and he cleaned the entire plate. The owner told us everything is made from scratch and you can tell. We will definitely be coming back!
