Crunchy, cold meat, wet lettuce and an Un chewable dry pita.

My wife and I enjoy a good Gyros sandwich, and we noticed that this place was open. We got there an hour before the posted closing time. We both ordered a gyros combo (includes fries) to eat in. We asked for no onion and Tzatziki on the side. The place is antiseptically clean looking, everything is white, the lights are bright so when you sit down, it's like you're sitting in a spotlight. There was one guy waiting on a to-go order which he got and left. After almost 30 minutes, he brought out our sandwiches and fries. The paper plates were wrapped in Saran Wrap. The gyros were also wrapped in foil. I've eaten Gyros in Turkey, Greece, and Lebanon so I really understand the flavor profile. First, he put the onions on it despite us asking for no onion (not a big deal, we can pick them off) but the pita and meat were so very dry, and not very hot. Perhaps it was because the meat was laying in a bed of very wet lettuce. The fries also were not hot, literally Luke warm. You know, the guy was fairly friendly, but the food was terrible. Ordinarily, I'd give a place a second chance, but for crying out loud, if you screw-up a gyros sandwich, why would I try anything else? We left most of the meal (see photos) and just left. We won't be back and would recommend going someplace else unless you're accustomed to cold crunchy meat and almost unchewable pita. I've never seen wet lettuce on a Gyros. EVER.

Definitely my new favorite place! Was suggested to go here by a friend and I'm glad I stopped by. Super friendly people and the ambiance was great! The food reminded me of home . I got the koobideh kabob with rice and will be coming back for more!

He goes back and starts cooking and a little bit later out comes the food on a styrofoam plate. I was shocked and dismayed and really worried. I took my first bite and omg a flavor and texture I haven't had in years. I come here every time I am in Norman. I have been to Persian restaurants that charge far more and you get tumeric instead is saffron. What a treasure you have here. My photo is horrible and doesn't convey it but it's really good and I will be going there again for lunch.

My wife and I had the beef Shawarma sandwiches and they were very good. Nice amount of spice but not overwhelming. We both really liked their tzatziki sauce. I tasted the rice and thought it was very good. We also tried the humus and it was nice. My girls told me they have a friend whose family is from Iran and they eat here often so I would think it's pretty authentic.

I typically don't write five star reviews for places I haven't set foot in, but I had to go the…read moreextra star just because of the attention to detail that this restaurant supplied. I do however definitely know, that I will actually make an in-person visit when able. This was ordered from GrubHub. I can only really speak on my order, I don't know how the other food is, but I'll tell you I'm definitely going to find out. They packaged my meat separate from my salad, so I didn't have limp wilted lettuce. Another key to detail! I ordered a spicy gyro salad. I've had Mediterranean all over the country, and I've never had spicy gyro. I don't know what the sauce is they use but it is phenomenal. My salad itself was huge, and they gave me a ridiculous amount of gyro meat! I mean a TON. They also doubled up on the pita bread, even though I'm not a carb eater, I had to go ahead and knock all that out too hahaha. They paid attention to my request for utensils, which was nice. A lot of places don't. They gave me extra of that hot sauce, plenty of Tzatziki sauce, I just wish I would have been able to ask them for extra salad dressing. It's probably enough for the normal bloke, but I like my salad like soup hahaha. I wasn't in love with the salad dressing, but it was good. I wasn't even able to eat everything I ordered. So I have a nice little snack in a couple hours! I know GrubHub gouges you, so my order was a bit expensive, but dining in, you're definitely getting your money's worth, and then some. I can't wait to go in person and actually have a sit-down meal at this place. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149.
