The restaurant is homey, neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and explained all the items we expressed interest in. The meat cabbage rolls were larger than expected. They were good, but heavy on the cinnamon. The Hashwa plate did not have the protein to rice ratio for the price. The Bemye stew hit the spot. All the Mediterranean flavors I love blended perfectly. Delicious authentic Lebanese food. We all ordered the Ozzie platter which included beef and chicken Shawarma with grilled onions and , hashwa rice, tabouli, hummus, pita, garlic and tahini sauce for dipping. Both the chicken and beef Sharm was very tasty and tender, the grilled tomatoes were well seasoned very flavorful. Everything on the platter was absolutely delicious, reminded me me of my mother's cooking. Their Toum (garlic sauce) was absolutely delicious!! Again we found ourselves in Edmond kinda late for lunch. We usually go for Asian restaurants but this time we both had a taste for Mediterranean/Middle Eastern. We picked this one. Was surprised that the building was so large and in a residential neighborhood. I thought "Oh no! This place is too fancy!" We gathered our courage and went inside. Surprise, the dining room was moderate size and tastefully decorated with a middle eastern feel. The other half of the building must be for large parties. I could imagine this place rocking on a weekend night. They had a lunch special called Hashwah that we had never heard of so that's what we ordered. It was delicious! And the quantity was such that I had to take half of mine home. Next time we are in the mood for this type of food and in the vicinity we will definitely come back. read more

Overall the whole mean needed a little more finishing touch to make it perfect. The food lacked finishing salt and the plates could have been wiped of excess sauce before service. The green bean stew was exceptional and I would order it again (Sorry for forgetting to get a photo). The beef in the schwarma sandwich lacked flavor. The server was very nice and friendly.
