disgusting watery lettuce
Anon M.

normally this location is on point, but unfortunately i think the busy holiday season and understaffing seem to be pushing the quality down the drain. i spent $60 today to get watery rice, wilted lettuce, and the driest chicken i have ever eaten. truly an inedible bowl, wasted money on both me and my partner's meal. both of us are still hungry, and very very disappointed in a wasted $60. go elsewhere for high quality mediterranean food, the workers here are never helpful anyway.

This is a really good restaurant. Popular location, great service. The menu has good options and it matches the vibe! Enjoy

Bowl!

First time for me! The food was great and surprisingly filling! I got the bowl. The place is clean and has a great vibe about it. Music light and happy. The staff were nice and patient while I made decisions.

The food was fantastic; the ingredients tasted fresh. With each bite the flavors exploded onto my palate like the Mediterranean boss they know themselves to be: bold, complex, and subtly spicy. I ordered a greens + grains bowl and built my own. I loved the crunch of the pickles, the tartness of the kalamata olives, the sweet and spicy flavors of the grilled chicken, the crunch of the pita crisps, the creaminess of the garlic married with the spiciness of the skhug wrapped up into each and every last bite. Oh, my bowl was a heavenly experience. I can't wait to go back for another Mediterranean flavor party in my mouth. I just had a hard time overlooking the lacking options of their tea/juice situation which they tout as above the rest. They were out of multiple options just before prime dinner time. Also, there wasn't a chance I was going to use their silverware provided for those dining in, I just couldn't find any that appeared to be adequately clean to my (very basic) standards. I was thrilled to find plastic ware available otherwise I would have been taking my dine in order home. All and all, I'll be back as the Mediterranean food experience was top notch. CAVA has earned its spot on my regular to-go carry options in the metro. April 2022

Greens & Grain Bowl

First timer - I'll be back often! After starting a new job I was invited to join my coworkers for lunch. I was not disappointed! It was refreshing to see a nice variety of options to choose from. I went with the Green & Grains bowl and then selected some of the tastiest options to me. I don't want to list them all but they were all good! I'm giving a 5 Star rating because I was very impressed! Another visit is already set for next week! I also downloaded the app and ready to collect rewards.

I am so happy Cava opened up near me. I was never a fan of Zoe's so, I was happy for a change. I decided to do a build your own bowl with greens + grains. I opted for the arugula and lentils. I'll admit I had no idea what I was doing, and the employees aren't necessarily helpful. I thought when ordering the greens + grains that there would be a set mixture so, I was kind of just standing there taking up time confused. Anyways, after I chose my base I was able to pick 3 dips/spreads. I chose harissa, red pepper hummus, and tzatziki. I loaded up on veggies since it was unlimited amount, and then chose the shkug? for my dressing aka green sauce. Everything was delicious, and I can't wait to come back and try a different base haha.

Anton’s Craft Kitchen - Chicken parm with fettuccine.

Anton’s Craft Kitchen

(460 reviews)

$$

There are restaurants where you choose your meal, and there are restaurants where the meal chooses…read moreyou. Anton's Craft Kitchen is definitively, gloriously the latter. Anton, the owner, is on the floor, at your table, and invested in your experience in a way that most restaurant owners stopped being long ago. He will guide your order. He will override your instincts when they'd lead you somewhere less than extraordinary. And he does it out of genuine love for what his kitchen produces. We surrendered the menu. Let him choose for us. It was the best decision we made. THE FOOD The Chicken Parm is the dish the kitchen was built around -- hand-breaded chicken in Anton's creamy craft sauce that is rich, precise, and unlike anything you've had under that name before. The plate came back spotless. Not out of politeness. Because leaving anything behind would have been a mistake. The Green Olive is the sleeper hit -- sliced chicken, green olives, onions, and lemon garlic sauce that is warmer and more comforting than the name prepares you for. Savory, gently briny, deeply satisfying. Anton pairs dishes for couples deliberately, so the meals across the table match and complement each other. The contrast between the Chicken Parm and the Green Olive is not an accident -- it is a decision. You taste the difference between a restaurant that thinks about your entire experience and one that just takes your order. He loves your experience as much as his food. He stresses the food will change every meal because it is homemade, and it is. Wow. The Smoked Eggplant Spinach Dip opened the meal with real intention -- smoky, complex, four cheeses, served with garlic flatbread. You will want to lick the plate clean. The Fried Mozzarella is what fried mozzarella should always be and almost never is. The peach tea is exceptional in a way that a beverage has no right to be when the food is competing for your attention this hard. PEFECT! Make sure to ask for it in Anton's way. His way is better. DESSERT Every dessert is made in-house from scratch and you taste it immediately. The Bourbon Pecan Pie has actual bourbon in it -- present, warm, unapologetic -- woven into a filling that is rich without being cloying, with a deeply caramelized pecan top and whipped cream that is the only accompaniment it needs. Top shelf in every sense. The Cheesecake is the real thing. Dense, genuine, not artificially sweet -- a tall ivory slice on a proper graham crust with a strawberry drizzle that brightens without overwhelming. This is what cheesecake is supposed to be and rarely is anywhere else. Anton's Craft Kitchen is the rare restaurant that exceeds every expectation you didn't know you had. The food is cooked with care. The desserts are made with love you can actually taste. The experience from first bite to last is without a single complaint -- because there isn't one to make. Every plate came back spotless. We will be back and the hamburger is next on our hearts!

Anton introduced us to an eggplant appetizer that was delicious with the warm pita bread. We will definitely back. The sauce on Rose's chicken made me want to lick my plate. Wonderful salad!

When you walk in, you'll notice several menus to choose from: Pizza, Pasta, Salads, Sandwiches, and even Seasonal Dishes. Simply grab the menu that fits your craving, fill out your selections with a pencil, and hand it in. I think it's a clever and efficient concept for ordering. We arrived just after the lunch rush, but the place was still buzzing with people. After placing our orders, we grabbed our drinks and found a table. Service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. I ordered from the Sandwich menu, and my friend went with the Build Your Own Pasta option -- he let me sample his, and it was delicious! Everything tasted well-prepared and satisfying. Overall, I love the concept and atmosphere here. I'll definitely be back to try another menu next time. Highly recommend giving Cafe 7 a visit if you're in the mood for a casual, tasty, and well-organized lunch spot!

I had a great grilled chicken and avocado sandwich. My friend had a personal pizza. My husband had a very good Cobb Salad with chicken. That looked like a terrific choice. After 40 minutes I finally asked my server to physically go check on it. She disappeared into the kitchen for 10 minutes, then came back with the manager. Turns out my server had rung in a cocktail instead of my salad. Fine -- mistakes happen. What's not fine is that the manager's solution was to ask me to pay the difference because the salad cost more. I'd been sitting there for an hour. I said no thanks, cancel the order. On my way out I overheard the manager tell the bartender "don't worry about it" -- apparently already moving on while I was still standing there with no food and no apology. I turned around and confirmed my card wasn't charged. Left after an hour. Hungry. And no putting Eddies on the Do Not Go Back list. Went to RR and had a RR salad. Belly happy!!!

The servers are so kind and check in on you frequently - they even went to ask specifically about the garlicky paste we were curious about! Grilled citrus salmon - perfectly cooked, lightly citrus-y, and with a large helping of grilled veggies. Great portion and taste! Garlicky chicken - a standout dish! Great portion size, with a wide array of sides. Also vegan friendly! The skin is a delicious roasted flavor, but the chicken inside was slightly bland - however there was a garlicky paste that came with this that helped offset that. Hummus stacked bowl (with chicken) - the hummus is so flavorful, and the portion size is again amazing! The chicken and veggies were perfectly balanced with the hummus in amount and flavor, plus the side pita was the perfect vehicle for each bite. Creme brûlée - perhaps my fault for expecting too much out of a "fast food" creme brûlée. Definitely tasted freezer burned/stale, not sure exactly what it was but not my favorite. Still overall ok though! What a great experience! So glad I tried Meddy's and can't wait to come back!
