There are restaurants where you choose your meal, and there are restaurants where the meal chooses you. Anton's Craft Kitchen is definitively, gloriously the latter. Anton, the owner, is on the floor, at your table, and invested in your experience in a way that most restaurant owners stopped being long ago. He will guide your order. He will override your instincts when they'd lead you somewhere less than extraordinary. And he does it out of genuine love for what his kitchen produces. We surrendered the menu. Let him choose for us. It was the best decision we made. THE FOOD The Chicken Parm is the dish the kitchen was built around -- hand-breaded chicken in Anton's creamy craft sauce that is rich, precise, and unlike anything you've had under that name before. The plate came back spotless. Not out of politeness. Because leaving anything behind would have been a mistake. The Green Olive is the sleeper hit -- sliced chicken, green olives, onions, and lemon garlic sauce that is warmer and more comforting than the name prepares you for. Savory, gently briny, deeply satisfying. Anton pairs dishes for couples deliberately, so the meals across the table match and complement each other. The contrast between the Chicken Parm and the Green Olive is not an accident -- it is a decision. You taste the difference between a restaurant that thinks about your entire experience and one that just takes your order. He loves your experience as much as his food. He stresses the food will change every meal because it is homemade, and it is. Wow. The Smoked Eggplant Spinach Dip opened the meal with real intention -- smoky, complex, four cheeses, served with garlic flatbread. You will want to lick the plate clean. The Fried Mozzarella is what fried mozzarella should always be and almost never is. The peach tea is exceptional in a way that a beverage has no right to be when the food is competing for your attention this hard. PEFECT! Make sure to ask for it in Anton's way. His way is better. DESSERT Every dessert is made in-house from scratch and you taste it immediately. The Bourbon Pecan Pie has actual bourbon in it -- present, warm, unapologetic -- woven into a filling that is rich without being cloying, with a deeply caramelized pecan top and whipped cream that is the only accompaniment it needs. Top shelf in every sense. The Cheesecake is the real thing. Dense, genuine, not artificially sweet -- a tall ivory slice on a proper graham crust with a strawberry drizzle that brightens without overwhelming. This is what cheesecake is supposed to be and rarely is anywhere else. Anton's Craft Kitchen is the rare restaurant that exceeds every expectation you didn't know you had. The food is cooked with care. The desserts are made with love you can actually taste. The experience from first bite to last is without a single complaint -- because there isn't one to make. Every plate came back spotless. We will be back and the hamburger is next on our hearts!

    Olive Chicken

Went at straight up noon on a Tuesday and only 4 people there, including us and I have no idea why! Friendly service, amazing food. Had the eggplant spinach dip, catfish and olive chicken and all were fantastic and definitely fresh made. The catfish had a very light almost tempura like coating and was great. Will be returning.

Spinach & Eggplant Dip - do not pass this one up!

Unbelievable meal! I've driven past Anton's countless times and always told myself I needed to stop in--now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. From the moment we walked in, Anton and his wife made us feel like family. Their warmth and personality shine through just as much as the food itself, and it's clear how much love they put into running this place. We came in at dinner and were seated right away. Normally I'm just a water drinker, but I tried the sweetened Peach Iced Tea--absolutely worth it. We had planned on ordering the Calamari, but Anton personally convinced us to try the Spinach & Smoked Eggplant Dip instead. He promised that if we didn't like it, he'd swap it out for the calamari. No swap needed--it was phenomenal! Served with warm pita, it was so flavorful that I'm still thinking about it a day later. For entrées, my wife had the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, and I went with the Fried Catfish paired with mashed potatoes. Both dishes came out beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Parm was tender and full of flavor, while my catfish--crispy, delicately crusted, and topped with their house craft sauce--was easily one of the best I've ever had. Of course, we couldn't skip dessert. We shared the cheesecake, which was a perfect finish, though I already know I'll be back to try the tiramisu next time. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together for a fantastic experience. Pricing felt very reasonable for the quality. Without hesitation, we'll be returning--this is a true gem in OKC!

If I could give 10/5 I would! This place is a true gem and it's no wonder they have the rating they do. I was served by the owner and he was incredible! I popped in for a cocktail and food to go as I'm staying nearby. He made me a special drink, not on the menu, and it was super yummy! I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye with salad and mashed potatoes but I don't think I could've done wrong with anything on the menu! He also gave me some of the eggplant dip and OMG YUMM!!! That is a must order! Everything was incredible! Made with love, you can tell! I only wish I was coming here more and could try more things!

Very friendly service and good food. I had the steak with pasta the steak was cooked well and the pasta sauce is very delicious. We also had fresh bread, salad, and eggplant and spinach dip which was very good. The restaurant is clean and spacious.

Our appetizers were the clear highlights of the dinner. The spinach & eggplant dip and fried mozzarella were home runs, they were just as delicious as the reviews said they were. I think the fried mozzarella is made in-house (but don't quote me on that) and came to our table piping hot; the cheese pulls were fit for a trendy IG or tik tok video. I had the fried fish with mashed potatoes, the mashed potatoes were "loose" (food people know what this means) and were somewhere around room temperature and luke warm unfortunately. My wife's shrimp over noodles weren't that great either. Her noodles also weren't very warm and were cooked to the point that they were far beyond al dente and were basically a limp, soppy mess. Anton is passionate about his restaurant, so I really hate to leave a review like this, but this is what my experience was.

First timer here came on a Saturday night dinner party with a reservation around 7 It wasn't busy at all . The owner did a really good explanation of the menu and tips loved his excitement , it did take a little bit before they took our order but once we did it was greater service from there. I got the chicken parm which was good I did have to ask for more creamy craft sauce and I thought the chicken would have a crispy crust but it did not. It wasn't loud and overall good place everyone's food was good and loved the pita bread.

What an experience for lunch! Anton himself served us, and suggested we let him pick what we would have. He started us off with the smoked eggplant and olive oil appetizer and a salad. Amazing! Then he brought us the catfish and green olive dish. It was all done to perfection. We highly recommend Anton's. And can't wait to return!

We came in to try Anton's based on stellar reviews and recommendations. It feels very much like you are going to dine at the home of a family member. We were greeted right away by Anton, and he had a great personality. The service was personable throughout. We did have to wait and finally ask for our check, but this was no problem since we were talking with friends. The food was very good. We were encouraged to order different things so we could sample from one another's plate. This is how our group usually dines, so we ordered four different entrees (chicken parm, olive chicken, veggie platter and chicken and shrimp). All were very good because all were very similar. They all had the same sauce and were all served over pasta or rice, so there really wasn't much variety at all in what we ordered. I found this to be interesting. Maybe we could have tried a burger or sandwich, but we were going for the house specialties. The restaurant was spacious and clean with numerous booths and a bar in the center of the restaurant. One thing I thought was curious, is that Anton told us he was going to bring us an appetizer that he thought we would love. He said if we didn't like it, he wouldn't charge for it. I was a little surprised to see that we were charged for it (it was good) since we didn't actually order it. And I saw that he took it to all of the other tables, so I guess this is a common technique here. I would definitely come here again and recommend it to others. You do feel like you are supporting a small business which is always nice.

Decided to try Anton's for the first time for lunch because of all the good reviews & it was delicious!! We got the spinach & eggplant dip, the bacon cheeseburger & the garlic lemon chicken with rice. We almost licked the plates clean, everything was so good!!

    Chicken parm

Too many good things to say about this place! The owner was so inviting and made you feel comfortable like someone who knew you personally and had you over for a meal. The restaurant was clean and airy. Service impeccable (of course). We had a family of six and he chose most of our parties meals. It started with the eggplant dip with bread for starters (deliciously light!), the family ordered the catfish, green olive chicken, chicken parm, shrimp and chicken, and the picky eater order a hamburger, all came with a large flavorful salad as well. We all tried each other's plates and there was not a clean plate when we left! The prices were normal for a restaurant serving this quality of food. Support this local gentleman! He is a treasure here in OKC to have!

Anton's is not your run of the mill restaurant. It's definitely a unique experience. And we didn't even meet Anton! We were greeted by a young, friendly hostess who ended up being our server as well. She asked if we had ever been there before, and when we said no, she said we were in for a treat. The restaurant is well maintained with a modern interior, center bar area and TVs for sports viewing. The best word I can use to politely describe this place is "presumptuous". We were given the spinach and eggplant dip appetizer without ordering it. We NEVER order appetizers so this was a little weird, especially when we were told we didn't have to pay for it if we didn't like it. Hubs enjoyed it, but it was just okay to me. The presentation could be better. I wouldn't put a dip on a plate. I didn't take a photo for that reason. Hubs got the ribeye steak with garlic butter sauce and loved every bit of it. He is a strict keto eater so he did not have any veggie option but to get "double salad". He ate the whole bowl. I thought it tasted like Olive Garden salad (which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion). Our server said it was their house made dressing. Another presumption is spice level. I cannot even have red pepper flakes on any food. It would've been nice to ask me first. Maybe because we went on a night where Anton wasn't out greeting guests, I was surprised to see it on my Lemon Garlic Chicken with mashed potatoes. Other than the spice, it was a little "one note" to me. This is more of a sauce, a lot of it. I used the buttered flat bread to finish all of my food. We do want to try this place again, but I'm personally hesitant that asking for simple requests would not go over well. Idk, we'll see. They obviously take a lot of pride in the food that they make. As others have mentioned, this place is definitely not for everyone.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?

I do wish they had an option to have dressing on the side though, it came already dressed and the salad was a little on the soggy end. They also dressed the salad but give you extra dressing, so little confusing. Dr Beek's salad was a little on the sweeter side too. They also forgot the grilled chicken add on for our salad so bit disappointing. Overall, they're alright! I love that it's a healthy option. We'd go again if they got our orders right.
