Our first night in Oklahoma City and we had to take care of some errands to get ready for the upcoming tournament and time got away from us. Near our hotel, I saw this place called Eddies. The restaurant garage doors were open and it was about an hour before closing and they were packed with OKC Thunder fans watching the game. They got us a table near the bar and after a long day of travel it was time for a very cold adult beverage and I was in the right spot. Our server came out and took our drink and food order. We love Eddie's Edmond! The staff are amazing and very attentive. This night we had Cailin and she was so sweet. She always had a smile on her face and we never had an empty glass. It was a Thursday evening, we made it before the rush and in time for Happy Hour! The restaurant is clean and wasn't too loud despite it being a sports bar. I started off with a Blue Raspberry Margarita and it was very good and super pretty! We got the happy hour potato skins to try and they were delicious! It comes with 6, but the others were excited to try them and dove right in! My son got the create your own pizza, chicken Alfredo. The 10" was a great size and it was delicious. My daughter and I got the traditional wings with 1/2 Garlic Buffalo and 1/2 Dirty Wings. Both were very good, but the Dirty Wings were AMAZING! They were flavorful and saucy. We also got the Garlic and Cheese Chicken without the peppers and onions and were not disappointed! The cheese was hot and bubbly, the chicken seasoned perfectly. The manager, Nina, also stopped by to check on us and she was great. Now I will say, my daughter is a server here and we ordered based off of her recommendations and what items her tables have recommended since being a server. Next week is her last week because she is moving home (yay for me) and going to school there. While I am happy to have her back home, I know she is sad to leave the Eddie's team. My son just moved to Edmond and we tried Eddie's out. I had lasagna and he had cheeseburger. Both meals were pretty good. The drinks were alright too, but what impressed me most was the service. Our server was very friendly and attentive (I hate that I can't remember her name!) Also the bartender went above and beyond because I didn't like my cocktail and she mixed me up another concoction she created based on my likeness and it was great! Still a good spot to hang out and yes, it's still loud. My favorite items are the burgers, wings with dry seasonings, and fries. Our group had lunch here and it was very nice. We were seated immediately in the open concept dining area. It has a full bar in the center and a few TVs playing a variety of sports. Each of us ordered different entrees so we all commented on the preparation and appearance prior to tasting. Most of our group of 8 enjoyed their orders. One order for french dip was disappointing in that it included cheese (they had questioned the wait staff prior to ordering and were assured that there wasn't cheese), and the beef was a bit dry and tough. Went for lunch at Eddie's for the first time in about 3 years. The food was great! I had the quesadillas with chips and queso and salsa. Very large serving! The wait staff were very, very busy and it took almost an hour from the time we sat down until we got our food. I think they need more staff. They were very friendly and did refill our drinks as they hurried by. The reason for three stars is the noise level in this restaurant. It was the loudest restaurant I've ever been to and almost walked out. No music was playing either. People were actually yelling at their table mates just to be heard!! That was crazy! Nice place on 2nd and Coltraine in Edmond. The atmosphere is trendy and people super friendly. A simple large page menu with plenty of choices for all. We started with the fried pickles and ranch. They're thick breaded and a good side. Will try the queso and chips next time. My brother had the Burger which he said was really good and tasty. I was impressed with the size of it honestly. I had the 1lb of wings choosing the Gochujang and Scorpion flavors. The gochujang needed more gochujang paste and less honey but still good. The scorpion wings must have been tired cause they forgot to bring the heat but the flavor was there. They were honestly disappointingly mild for scorpion pepper wings. My family and I came here on a Sunday afternoon to have lunch. Its a beautiful restaurant, large with an open dining room that flows into the bar. We ordered the Cajun Angels to start (bacon wrapped shrimp). They were okay, just okay. I found it really strange that they came with a spicy mustard to dip them in. For our entrees, we ordered a pound of wings and a French Dip plate with fries to share. The wings were pretty small compared to what I remembered. The French Dip was bursting with flavor and was the best thing we had! But it came with a super small cup of au jus. The diameter of the cup was so small you couldn't even dip the sandwich in it! We were going to the park after we ate, so I visited the ladies room prior to leaving. There are three stalls in the ladies room and they all have abnormally large gaps between the walls and stall fixture! I remember hoping no one came in as it made me extremely uncomfortable. The trash can for the paper towels were also spilling over into the doorway. Who knew waiting for the public park bathroom would have been a better option? read more

I have always heard great things about Eddie's. I've heard they have the best wings around. Finally got to try them! I took my family here with two young kids. At first it was okay but the restaurant was super busy. My kids started to get upset and crying. I told the waitress we have to leave and would like our food to go. She was so so so nice and so supportive and understanding. She gave each of my kids a Hot wheels car brand new in box. Stopped in for dinner with a group of guys one evening this week. Eddie's is your standard sports bar - nothing fancy but the place is clean which is always good to see. We were seated quickly and offered drinks. Waitress was attentive but it also wasn't busy and she only had a few tables. We would all go back again but can't say we would recommend others go there if asked where to get a great meal. The burgers were decent but could use more salt/seasoning to add more flavor. The Eddie Burger is messy with the combination of sauces. The Philly steak sandwich could be improved by being sliced ribeye vs just chunks of steak. French fries were fresh cut which is great, but needed a bit "harder" fry to get them crispier. In summary - place is clean, staff seem to be working hard, food was edible. My girlfriend and I used to frequent hot wings, a subsidiary of Eddies, for their delicious wings. Unfortunately it closed down, so we decided to go straight to the source to get our hands on some Mango Habanero wings. Now, we've been to Eddies a handful of times, and though it's never wowed us, it has been consistently decent. That is until yesterday. We were sat in a booth under an air vent which was blowing cold air despite it being 70 degrees outside. We ordered 12 wings and a side of sweet potato fries to split. $35 for one entree and side. That is not a problem, but when the food arrived after a 30 minute wait, it was cold. One of simplest menu items took 30 minutes , and it was cold. I am unsure if it was the kitchen's or the waitress's fault, but a restaurant cannot expect to charge that much and deliver so little value. The waitress didn't once come by to ask how the food was after delivering it, and that tells me she knew it took too long, and that it was cold, but decided to do nothing about it. read more
