Farmers grain will forever be one of our favorite places to go. The food always tastes amazing with fresh flavors and farm to table ingredients. They do have a seasonal rotating menu so be sure to check their page before going, but really there is always something amazing to try! On top of the food being great, the staff is nothing short of perfect. They go into detail about each dish and make sure you have the best dining experience possible. Intimate seating and a clean space goes a long way. Last night was our 6th dining experience and we don't plan to stop coming:)

Came here for a work dinner tonight and had a phenomenal experience! The staff, ambiance, service, and food quality were all perfect. I was trying to find the menu before my visit, but to my pleasant surprise, it was changed out for summer and included some vegetarian-friendly options that I didn't see in previous menus. Once my guest arrived, we started off with mocktails (we were able to customize some of the drink specials without alcohol). I tried the watermelon spritz which was refreshing and flavorful. We split a bread dish that came with whipped tallow, but the whipped tallow was carefully spread on one side of the dish only so I was still able to sample the delicious, warm in-house baked seed bread. For my entree, I went for the vegetable polenta with vegan glaze and cashew cream, topped with roasted vegetables. The portion size was just right, and the cashew cream elevated the polenta flavor to an unimaginable level. We didn't order dessert, but we were given one lemon scone each as a treat on the house. They also sell the lemon scones pre-packaged to-go! Bill came out to be ~$60 per person with tip. It's definitely a great place to take out friends, family, a date, or dine for business. With a seasonally-changing menu, there's always something for the Edmond/OKC locals to look forward to. The next time you are in OKC, venture out to Edmond and relax at this cozy farm-to-table establishment!

My husband and I came here for an early Valentine's Day dinner. I love the concept of the farm to table created here by the executive chef and pastry chef, who are husband and wife. You can tell they really care about the business and have a passion for serving delicious food. The service here was so great. We were greeted by a friendly hostess, then taken to our table. There was a guy walking around offering people coffee. Our waiter, Jarrick, was so good at describing the menu. I wanted to order everything he recommended. The bread & tallow was a solid starter option. We both loved our entrees, pasta au poivre and shrimp risotto. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and we were surprised at the end with a seasonal lemon scone. p.s. don't sleep on their shelf up front with homemade soap, lotion, balms, and breads. Overall 10/10 y'all!

Updating my review. My first experience was exceptional. The food was small, but the portions were still fair and we had an amazing experience. I invited friends to join us this time for a special date night out since, they have littles like we do and we both needed a night out. We ordered the strip steak, 2 orders of the who shot the deer, Cornish hen, a few mocktails, and a glass of wine. We also ordered the pumpkin crème brûlée and orange chai cake dessert. The food was decent everything wasn't bad, but nowhere near as good as our first time. The deer especially was overpriced for such a tiny portion. I'll say the food was good excluding the pumpkin drink and my orange chai cake. The Cornish hen was a bit too dry for my liking, and my steak wasn't like exceptional. I've had better quality steak at other high end steak restaurants in the metro. The guys enjoyed their deer, but it was just so small. I can understand the meat portion being small, but why not give us more potatoes or sides in general. I think they should increase their serving size by even a little bit, because this isn't French fair or a super high end restaurant such as nonesuch. My friends and I don't mind spending $$$$ for good food, because we do all the time. However, last night definitely felt like we didn't get what we paid for. Maybe I'll come back in another year, and see if things have changed, but for now I'll go elsewhere. Paying $$$ for a snack isn't really my style. Almost forgot. I had reservations, and when asked to sit elsewhere our hostess said that there were not other spots available to seat us when there was a booth in the corner that was never occupied during our dining experience. We were seated right in the front next to the entrance door by a huge glass window that just felt exposed and uncomfortable. The chairs were hard, and I was just uncomfortable sitting there the whole entire night. Not saying I had a bad experience, just a weird experience. If we had reservations, why are we being seated in the crappiest area of the restaurant especially when there was another option for seating? Anyways, we won't be back for awhile. Giving 3 stars because the food wasn't all terrible, and the service was decent.

Fantastic service, pristinely clean and well decorated restaurant. Loved the open kitchen. Server seemed passionate about his job, and everyone there was super friendly. We got the potato appetizer, salmon and duck entrees, and a Mac and cheese for our kiddo. Wanted to get dessert but we were too stuffed! Perfect portions, love the message/vision of this place, Farm to table is the future and I actively seek places like this out. I was hugely impressed by this little gem of a place. First off, the plating was INCREDIBLE. Flavors were perfectly balanced. Options were diverse. Salmon was cooked perfectly, but the duck was unfortunate mushy and over cooked or maybe just defrosted too quickly. I have never had duck breast so mushy before, but the flavors and textures of the rest of the dish made up for it. I hope Chef reads this and reduces the cook-time or defrost time, not sure what the issue was but as a duck-enthusiast I was disappointed. I've always had and personally prepared duck breast with the skin-on and cooked to a medium-rare. The duck had the taste and texture of liver/pâté, so much so my husband wasn't convinced it wasn't liver. I love liver, so I ate every bite nonetheless, and everything else was cooked to perfection. The potato dish was the standout, so unique and bursting with flavor. The textures and colors and diversity of flavors in each dish was on-point. Bravo!

I finally made my way here tonight before a work get together and initially I enjoyed the space and atmosphere. It is very cozy and intimate, and there are not many bars like it in OKC. However, when it came to the bartenders (two from my interaction) and cocktails -- my experience was less than cozy. Long story short, I asked for an espresso martini, a basic drink I know. And I was told as such by both bartenders working, one of which called me 'boring'. They wanted me to try a drink off their menu, and I respect the pride and effort this business put into crafting unique, holiday cocktails. However, none of them spoke to me tonight, and I wanted a run of the mill espresso martini. One bartender asked if I would be willing to try one of their drinks similar to an espresso martini, to which I agreed, however I still did not enjoy and requested a regular (boring and basic) espresso martini. They said they typically avoid making these popular drinks, but made an exception for me. Which is really unfortunate, because it was one of the best espresso martinis I've had in the city. Both bartenders later apologized for their comments, but I'm unsure if they were genuine or trying to save face. All in all, if you're willing to explore untraditional cocktails with a cozy vibe, you should try this place. If you have a simple pallet, that doesn't need to be wowed, it's questionable if you should visit. If this review doesn't get me banned, I may give it another try. Happy drinking!

Unfortunately, the pricing versus portion size completely misses the mark. The fried bread appetizer was $12 and barely about six inches long. Not sure how that's meant to be shared. The deviled eggs were $13 for six halves...that's just three eggs. For those prices, you expect either larger portions or something that really stands out--but the food was just average. A pimento burger at $17 and a Caesar salad at $12 wouldn't be an issue if everything else matched up, but combined with the small portions and overall quality, it just feels overpriced. It's frustrating because this place has so much potential. With a few adjustments--especially bringing prices down a couple bucks or increasing portion sizes--they could absolutely pack the place. Right now, it just doesn't justify the cost.

Our group of six grabbed a table outside, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The service was attentive, and the food and drinks hit the mark. We tried the burgers and fries. Fries were homemade and delicious! Our favorite drink was the Rattlesnake Kate but get it quick because it's seasonal. The indoor space looked inviting too, spacious with a relaxed vibe. The only downside? The music. Slow country tunes played nonstop, which didn't quite match the lively atmosphere we were hoping for. We asked if they'd consider mixing in some upbeat country and/or top 40 hits, but it seems the owners are pretty set on their playlist (at least that is what we were told). It was disappointing especially as I read other reviews that they want to be a premiere music spot. Can certain nights be different music selections to appeal to all customers? There's a lot of potential here! Note: we were one of maybe five tables there, and that's counting inside and outside. Fun fact: we learned the same owners run Round Midnight in downtown Edmond and have plans to open a deli next door. We love Round Midnight! Looking forward to seeing the deli menu.
