Tomato Basil Pepperoni Flat Bread

So happy to give Patrono a 5 star review. Food was excellent! Small restaurant ; they don't have to wait for servers to travel a long distance to retrieve your food. They are very attentive and food comes out hot and stays hot while eating! So good! Our server was Shannon and he made sure we had everything we needed! Flat bread was outstanding. The marinara sauce in it was wonderful! More like pizza than flatbread. Best flatbread I ever tasted! Great! I had the carbonara which was also quite delicious! Hot, delightfully spiced, and creamy! Ambiance is great because it's a quaint restaurant with nice low lighting and beautiful artwork and nicely furnished. The Emma wine was wonderful! This place was so good that my Auntie S liked it! Wow! Will come again and highly recommended!

Great quality, flavor, and portion sizes. Crab cake entree is HUGE! The grilled octopus was perfect, pastas tasted freshly made. Really great menu and location for any pre event dinner.

Grilled Octopus: (Cannellini beans, arugula, pickled onion, calabrese aioli).

I stopped by Patrono's, a refined Italian restaurant, for lunch today at around 11:40 a.m. and it was a delightful experience despite the place being surprisingly quiet when I arrived. This upscale spot, located in the heart of Oklahoma City, exudes elegance with its clean, sophisticated decor (polished wood accents and soft lighting, with stylish interior). Lunch hours: Tue - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Dinner Hours: Tue - Thur 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Fri 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Sat 5:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m. Sun 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Perfect timing for my visit! My meal kicked off with the Grilled Octopus appetizer, served with cannellini beans, arugula, pickled onion, and calabrese aioli. The octopus was incredibly tender, melting in my mouth, though the flavors felt mild and somewhat muted, still a solid starter that set a nice tone. Next, I enjoyed the Patrono Salad, which was bursting with flavor thanks to the peppery arugula and a standout pistachio vinaigrette. Beets are my favorite root vegetable, so I was excited for them, but they seemed pre-packaged rather than freshly roasted, which would've made them even better; still, the salad was delicious and vibrant. For my main, I went with the Mezze a la Vodka, adding their in-house made spicy sausage, which brought a fantastic kick to the creamy pasta. The sausage's heat paired beautifully with the rich sauce, though the pasta itself isn't made in-house but is thoughtfully sourced locally, which I appreciate. I opted for a Diet Coke (they serve canned beverages here, which they kindly kept topping off. A thoughtful touch). As soon as my drink arrived, my waiter Cydney who greeted me warmly at the door and let me choose my seat (I picked the bar) then brought out some incredible sourdough bread with balsamic butter and housemade chimichurri. The chimichurri was fresh and zesty, stealing the show with its vibrant herb flavors. Cydney's service was impeccable, and the clean, upscale ambiance made this a memorable lunch. While the octopus could use a flavor boost, the overall quality and attention to detail here are top-notch. I'll definitely return, perhaps for dinner, to explore more of this refined menu!

We called on a Saturday afternoon to see if we could get reservations and we were able to secure 2 seats at the bar, honestly, our preferred spot! We were greeted and seated immediately. The bartenders was prompt with getting us menus and taking our drinks orders. I needed help narrowing down both my drunk and entrees but the bartender was very helpful. We got the complimentary bread and dips, one of a reduced balsamic spread, the other a super delicious Italian salsa verde that was so good, we needed more! We ordered the suppli el telefono as an appetizer that was delicious. I was a little surprised the red pepper pesto was cold but the stuffed risotto was hot. It ended up working well together, crispy and delicious, packed with flavor. I got the mixed green salad that was bright and refreshing. My partner got the soup which was a broccoli cheddar situation that was amazing! I ordered the Roman Carbonara and added the spicy Italian sausage that was juicy and perfectly spicy to my liking. My partner ordered the filet and that was also juicy and flavorful. We love sitting at the bar because you get to interact with a bunch of staff. Every single person we encountered was super friendly, cheerful, and gave us their opinions of their favorite menu items which was basically the entire menu so now we have to come back! The cocktails were delightful as well. I finished the meal with an affogato and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The food and service was top notch.

Bone-in Grilled Pork Chop with Broccolini

The place appears very elegant. The bathrooms and floors could stand to be a little cleaner, but that is being picky. Went kinda late, so it was very quiet and calm. The server I had was very nice and attentive. I wish he was a little more knowledgeable about the menu, but again being kinda picky. Appetizer: - Grilled octupus I have had grilled octupus many times in various high-end restaurants in various cities around the country. When I saw this on the menu, I knew I had to get it. It's a little pricey. HOWEVER..... it is probably the best I've had. The octupus was so tender, perfectly grilled, and very well seasoned. The bean salad it is served with adds so much flavor and texture contrast. Then add the calabrese aioli to the mix, and it is a true winner!!! Entree: - Bone-in Grilled pork chop with broccolini and creamy polenta This had a lot of wins....and a small flop. The star of the show was obviously the pork chop. It was very tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled. Really couldn't ask for better. The broccoloni was hot but still crisp and seasoned - just a good basic side. The polenta kinda lost me. It had a very grainy texture and not as lush and creamy as I wanted it to be. I honestly would have preferred a creamy bed of mashed potatoes.

Great service. Bar tender was excellent great food too! I also had the espresso martini.

Affogato with pignoli cookie

My husband and I went to Patrono on a Sunday night and had a wonderful experience! The setting was comfortable and intimate. Our server Maddy was friendly and attentive. The burrata appetizer was delicious; the sweet potato caponata made us feel like we were back in Sicily! Their carbonara is the closest thing we've had to the carbonara we had in Rome! Get the meatballs - they're delicious! Their gelato is amazing! Highly recommend! We did not take advantage of their half off bottles of wine deal - but we'll certainly return sometime for that!

The night before my visit to Aurora, I did not lose money at the casino and went home early. I woke up at 7 AM the next day and it was raining. This was a perfect setup to go to popular breakfast diners. I walked in, sharply dressed and full of confidence. I truly believe that I got better service because of my outfit. I was looking sharp (dress shirt, chino pants, dress shoes, and my infamous yellow bow tie). I had the Farmer's Combo. I think it was good. As stated earlier, my mood dictated my impression of Aurora on this visit, AND THAT's PERFECTLY OKAY.

The Plaza District were getting ready for a street festival out front the afternoon we were there. They had just dropped a new menu so our table tried some brand new additions: The Tikka Masala Chicken Sandwich and a lemon pasta. For the chicken sandwich, think a Nashville hot but doused in Tikka Masala sauce. This was a messy sandwich to eat (read knife and fork) and while my chicken had good flavor, it was a bit tough. The fries were amazing and get a side of their ranch dressing to go with them. The pasta looked amazing (came with a fried egg on top) and I was told it was good. All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. You can't go wrong by dining at The Press.

I got the Press Cobb salad but asked if they'd turn it into a wrap, and they didn't give me any trouble about it. Easier to eat when you're trying to talk and chew at the same time. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

Upon entering I notice this was a small place so you probably need to be prepared to wait but we went at an off time & we sat immediately. It was kind of like I suspected small menu but a lot really appealed to me. We started out with the Pretzels w/Beer Cheese. I would definitely get this again! My wife opted for the Build Your Own Za. She opted for the Pepperoni & Mushroom. I selected one of their sandwiches - The Cosmo Kramer. My intent was to get a pizza but the sandwiches were too inviting. The best part of dining with my wife is that we normally get something different so the other can try. She really liked her pizza however, it wasn't appealing to me. She likes the thin crispy crust and I opt more of the hand tossed. However, their sandwiches were the big winner! I selected the Cosmo Kramer and it was totally what I wanted!! My mind keeps racing back to that sandwich. I'm not sure if I want to recreate myself or just head back for a repeat try.
