The burrito but in a bowl. Yummy!

Today we went back. When we walked in the hosts just looked at us like why are you here. It was obvious to my husband and son as well. Dillon was our server and he was fabulous. We had the BLT, breakfast burrito in a bowl, and eggs benny. All was really good. The mimosas were good (not all OJ). We will be back. Just the initial interaction had us thinking about leaving as soon as we sat down. It was warm on the patio but not terrible.

This is a beautiful brunch, lunch, and dinner spot in the Plaza. I've been meaning to try it for a long time. Staff were in very fun pride outfits today. The whole restaurant is decorated for pride month. The outdoor patio is nice. They started a new menu today too. The chicken tikka sandwich was good. Messy but tasty. I want to try brunch next time.

If you didn't know better this place could have been on Melrose or Venice Beach, CA 5 stars for the ambiance... and the dirty chai.. My ONLY gripe, the kitchen needs to learn what Well Done means. Pink in the middle... not well done... still Moo'in! Hunger makes the best seasoning...

@jamesbeard, @zagat, I'm talking to you and all the other Oklahomans out there ... and all those non Oklahomans who are close enough to get here.... Get here. Aurora is a smallish and quint little eatery in OKC, that delivers BIG on customer service and food. Not only are the portions huge, they are incredibly delicious!!!! We had all breakfast, brunch items including their "fork and knife" biscuits and gravy which a wonderful buttermilk biscuit , sausage patty and scrambled egg( what!) smothered in a country gravy and cheddar cheese.. wth. Their side of roasted potatoes and cabbage may sound ... odd, but they are banging. Roasted baby potatoes with sliced purple, cabbage, and onions roasted to crispy perfection. Eggs Benedict Solid!! Made from scratch buttermilk Pancakes, solid!! Coffee, solid! Bloody Marys, rock solid.!!! Best of all, our hostess, Meg, made sure our coffee cups were always filled ensured that all the condiments were on the table. There was plenty of butter, syrup to go round. She made the experience that much better even instructing one of the other employees who we asked to take a picture of our group, where and how to take a picture due to the lighting conditions of the restaurant. Overall, this quaint little restaurant packs more flavor and ambience into its small footprint than any of the other larger chain restaurants and will be returning as soon as we have the opportunity to. If you're in or near OKC, do yourself a favor and get you Aurora. This place is fantastic. Thank you!

Got the order to go, but had a yogurt bowl and a hot "the basic" coffee. The yogurt bowl was a great way to start the day. The house made granola was fantastic! Provided additional texture and had great flavor. The coffee was quite tasty. Wasn't overly sweet, but just enough. Will likely stop for another while in town.

    Inviting and cozy.

Nice brunch venue. Service was great. Food was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles and was very pleased with my choice. A friend had the pulled pork hash and I got to try it. It did make me almost reconsider my order. Drink selection was diverse and on point.

Amazing! How have I missed this jem? The food and the atmosphere very comfortable and casual. Parking is near so just a short walk. You always should get on the waiting list as the place was packed. The food very fresh and seasoned perfectly. Loved the pulled pork, biscuits and hash potatoes. Squared everything away with a pineapple mimosas!

The food was amazing!!! The burger was very fresh and was obviously homemade. The service was awesome sauce and she was very patient and kind to us! I love the gay flags everywhere being a trans person, this place definitely made me feel like I belong here!

This place has a good vibe! They have a little bar and plenty of seating area. Food was good but the cinnamon roll took the trophy! It was warm, gooey, and a bit crispy. I'd 100% would love to come back!

This was my first visit to Aurora in a long while, and I came away impressed. The portions are large and prices are very reasonable. We were seated almost immediately. We could not have been treated better or had any better service. Everyone ordered something a little different, and being a sharing family, we were able to try a bit of everything. I ordered the sarsaparilla pulled pork hash with two over-medium eggs. The eggs were perfectly medium, the pulled pork was tender - it was such a nice little dish. Well, not little. I wasn't able to finish it. It came with a side of a smokey sauce (maybe that was the sarsaparilla?) that I added. It was nice on the pulled pork itself, but I'd be more judicious and not just pour it in the dish. Everyone else's dishes were good too. I will note the biscuits and pancakes were heavy, but still pretty good. I've already told several people about how much we enjoyed it. To find freshly prepared food and great service at a great price is pretty rare these days.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

It's so much larger and open. The bar is good size as well. We sat upstairs and loved being able to take in all that was happening, bartender, chef, staff it was great. Our food was amazing! The salad was simple but delicious, steaks were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was a little dry for my liking but was good. Our drinks were unique and very good but the show stopper was dessert .... The bread pudding! I've never had anything as good. Raven has mastered bread pudding. It takes 20 mins so order it early on.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.

Originally had a 9 PM reservation but was able to replace it with a 7:15 PM reservation. Unfortunately, the road by the restaurant was closed, making it very difficult to find parking and being able to physically walk to the restaurant. Due to construction, we arrived at the restaurant by 7:30 PM, which, as stated per policy that 15 minutes was allowed in order to not get our reservation reservations canceled. My party of three was not able to get seated until a little after 8 PM, not sure why. I believe we were told that they were not enough tables despite our reservation. Honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal but my party and I were a bit confused lol. We were seated in the area of the restaurant that was a bit, secluded from the rest of the floor, I think there were only three tables total in that section. Our server was amazing. His name was Jason. He did such a good job at explaining the dishes we were interested about, gave us really good recommendations and took very well care of us. We ordered a lot of food! Appetizers, we started off with the Korean fried chicken, which was crispy and crunchy. I would get them again as an entrée. We also got the house rolls that came with a gochujang like butter, had a hint of sweetness along with spicy. I ordered the American Wagyu ribeye as recommended by our server Jason. He told us that the rib I would be so soft that a butter knife could cut through it, honestly, it didn't taste as amazing as it sounds. I hate to put that in this review, but maybe it was my unfortunate luck. No complaints though because it was still good, just not as described. Big old chunk of meat, so it was nice being able to take it home as well. I guest at the table ordered the bra, short rib rigatoni, it was very interesting to see the Korean flavors connect with pasta! The other guest at my table had the very short rib with sweet potato grits, the short rib was so flavorful that I'm intrigued to get that next time. I was pleasantly shocked at how much flavor and how tender it was, I was jealous. I'm a big fries girlie, so we ordered the side of fries with spicy ketchup. To my surprise, the ketchup was actually spicy. We also ordered the brussels sprouts as our side, it was addicting. Probably one of the best brussels sprouts I've had. The banana pudding and Keylime pie was for to go, and unfortunately for you guys I did not get dessert to go. Although I will not be able to describe it to you all, the two guests I went with said they were too good. For some odd reason, this visit was so much better and tastier. I would love to come back.

Maht | Chef Kevin…read moreLee's Maht arrives as one of Oklahoma City's most ambitious dining experiences, threading Korean-American influences through a steakhouse framework with results that range from very good to genuinely unforgettable. Start with the sweet shrimp carpaccio stop everything, order this first. It's the rare dish where every element earns its place: delicate, briny sweetness from the shrimp harmonizing in a combination of flavors that felt both surprising and inevitable. The table agreed it was the dish of the night. The strawberry crème bingsu may be the most talked-about dessert in OKC right now, and the hype is earned. Strawberry sorbet, fresh berries, condensed milk, whisper-light bingsu snow, and the crunch of pistachios -- it's architectural and refreshing all at once. We found Maht because of a bingsu video on Instagram, and I've had bingsu in Korea. This is the best I've encountered. In between, the kimchi risotto impresses with genuine kimchi funk and umami depth. The salt + pepper green beans are deceptively simple -- a clean hit of chili heat that disappears off the table. The bokbunja glazed duck delivers on both flavor and presentation, and the snow crab mac and cheese is lush and satisfying, though the crab itself gets a little lost. The crab scallion pancake is generous and well-seasoned; the parker house rolls lean on the chili crunch honey butter (rightfully so). The gochujang lamb chops have good bones but the gochujang pushes a bit hard. The scallop crudo felt like the one course still searching for balance a touch small for the price and slightly oversauced. The New Whiskey Sour with egg white foam branded with "Maht" is a thoughtful touch that delivers. Maht isn't without room to grow, but when it's on and it's on often it's one of the most exciting meals in the state.
