Person working the front was very welcoming. Food was fresh and full of flavor. Employees are very helpful and polite.

Their classic hummus has a different consistency than the typical hummus. More goopy? Hard to explain. With each bite I kept looking for that traditional taste that I never got. The grape leaves also had that same consistency. Goopier than usual. The chicken shawarma wrap was delicious. The pitas were very good. The service was very good. It was 45 degrees outside and it might've been about the same inside and that caused our hot meal to get cold very quickly. Plus it made us rush our meal to leave to the warmth of our car. Atmosphere was nice with background music just loud enough to hold a quiet conversation. read more

Food was great! We ordered 2 Beef Gyros and a Philly Beef Shawarma. Quality over portion size.

I wanted to try something different for lunch so this place was my choice. I found the restaurant very clean and inviting! It took me a few minutes to review the menu board. I decided on the Chicken Gyro Supreme with vegetables & Tabouli! Overall I found this place worthwhile. I'll put it on my rotation as a place to give a second try! read more

I have been wanting to go here for months and looking for an excuse to be near Edmond to try it out. Today was that day. Just so good. My biggest takeaway is just how long it has been since I have been to a fast casual type restaurant and someone genuinely asked how I enjoyed the food. Such a great customer experience. From walking us through the menu to the genuine engagement, I couldn't hand these folks my business faster. Mediterranean food is such a love of mine and this place delivers. Got a beef shawarma bowl with all the fixings and a side of spicy hummus and tabouli. Spicy hummus is a bit mild as I like hot-hot but they have a hot chili sauce you can get on everything or just on the side that brings all the heat you could want. The tabouli however is the freshest one I've had outside my own kitchen.... I could go on forever about all of it... but bottom line, you are robbing yourself if you go and haven't had the baklava. I think it's way above Cava, but wife disagrees (mostly because she loves the speciality lemonades) but end of the day, I'd much rather support local family businesses so my only complaint is they don't have a location closer to my home. If you are in the know you aren't reading this because you are already there... but to everyone else, go enjoy it. read more

Food was good, no servers but the cashier was on top of checking on everyone regularly, typical fast food joint feel

We came in for lunch on Sunday and waited about 10 minutes already while the person in the front was taking someone else's order over the phone (which is fine) and he apologized for. After we put our to go order in - it took 20 plus for us to get our order ready and there was only two of us and we ordered a simple meal. The craziest part there was another couple with a kid that came in like 12 minutes after us and they ordered something to sit there and they got their entire meal before ours was ready. Honestly the food is ok but it's not worth the wait time to get it. Especially when people that order after you get their food first. read more

My husband and daughter ordered takeout for dinner. My daughter specified gluten free and no pita. When we got home there was a stack of pita in the box touching her entire meal. Everyone else's food was delicious. I just wish they would understand the gravity of gluten allergy and the fact that she couldn't eat dinner with the family because her food was contaminated. read more

Customer service non existent and borderline rude. Hummus was soured, baklava was dried out, wraps were of no noticeable flavor.

The bowl was amazing and their grape leaves were wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful when we ordered our food. We'll definitely be back in the very near future. read more

Shawarma and co is definitely a feast for your eyes. Images of the food are prominent inside this trendy-feeling fast/casual place. They have decent amount of seats inside with movable 4 tops if you have a larger group, call ahead. Menu is extensive. Chicken, beef, lamb and falafel in wraps, rice, or gyro which here means the thicker pita but served open faced. While you order at counter, the staff brings the food out (you still bus the table), and are generally nice. We had dessert on our order they held it back although i wish they had told me upfront. They brought it out after our meal was done The food itself was not to mine and the fam's taste. I wish it had more spices and heat in general. The garlic side sauce could definitely use more of a garlic kick. That said it was fresh and high quality and the place was busy so they get it right for their regular customers. I will say the Nutella cheese cake needs to be served less cold and be a more generous portion given the price. Other than that complaint, this place is just fine. read more

We did take out so I don't know how the store was. I got the Beef Gyro supreme. It was very good I like the seasoning on the meat, it was a decent size meal for the money. They got the order right so the service was good. As far as I was concerned, I will be back. Give these guys a try, It's pretty tasty. Thanks guys! read more

First the location has plenty of parking and is in a great location. We were in and out the line in about 3-4 minutes. The food was fresh, I enjoyed the Greek salad a lot. It's kind of dark, but almost calm I'm at the location, my food was tasty so I would def visit here again, read more

Shawarma & Co is easily one of the best spots for food in the area. My go-to is the Lebanese shawarma--it's consistently flavorful and always hits the spot. The grape leaves, hummus, and tabbouleh are incredibly fresh and rank among the best I've had anywhere in the U.S. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and I always leave full and satisfied. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back. If you're a shawarma lover, this place is an absolute must. read more

Shawarma & Co. is a nice, clean spot with friendly staff. I usually order the chicken shawarma with spicy hummus and grape leaves. Most of the time, the food is great, but sometimes the chicken is dry and overcooked. One time, I showed up 20 minutes before closing, and the staff had already locked the doors and turned off the sign, which was frustrating. Overall, it's a good place for a casual meal, and I'll keep going back. read more

Well, it's probably past time for me to write this update. I'm SO happy to say that I finally returned (for a 2nd and 3rd visit) more than a year after my initial visit that didn't go so well and I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing! No more deafening music. The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. Customer service is phenomenal! We were greeted upon arrival. They answered all of our questions thoroughly and promptly. Even when they delivered our food to the table, it was done in a very professional and kind manner. You can tell they take pride in doing a great job. This is now one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants to frequent. I just wish I lived closer to it. Let's see, I love the Classic and Lebanese Chicken Shawarmas! I'm not a super fan of their tahini sauce, but it doesn't overwhelm the wrap or anything, so I just roll with it. The fries are great, nice and crispy. The garlic sauce is also really good. I usually buy extra to dip my fries in as well. The Classic and Spicy Hummuses are yummy. Oh and the Nutella Chocolate Shawarma is pretty darn good too. It's a nice sweet treat to share after having a more savory meal. They even have meals for the kiddos, whether they want Mediterranean food or not. There's a kid's chicken strip meal if your child is on the more picky and less adventurous side (yes, I'm talking about my child). Highly recommend giving Shawarma & Co a visit. You won't be disappointed! read more

This place is a neat American spin to Mediterranean food. Whenever I'm in the area feeling Mediterranean, I'll typically think of this place. It's simple and delicious. Their menu isn't too big, for starters I would recommend their chicken gyro platter. Good amount of food. Their hummus is pretty good too. Biggest gripe I have here is they can be pretty slow with making their food. Maybe understaffed? read more

Love this place. Everything is so fresh. And the pita bread and falafel is something that I always go back to them. The only think k didn't like was almost everything had little bit of sour taste, may be because of olives. read more

Checking out Yelp for a dinner option, I came across Shawarma & Co. Interesting concept with ordering at the counter and being delivered to your table. It also looks to be the perfect grab and go location. Several customers picked up to go orders. I ended up getting the chicken shawarma meal and it tasted great. My two sides included a Greek salad and babaghanoush. I highly recommend and hope you enjoy. read more

If you like Mediterranean food or if you have never had it and you enjoy burritos, you will like this counter service spot in edmond. The plates are made to order and are perfect for the price point. The restaurant is very good looking and clean. Perfect bite of food while shopping or on a lunch break. I hope this place has long lived success in oklahoma so we can retain diverse options in north OKC. I only wish the food was faster but hey, it's made fresh. read more

I have said this once and I will say it again. Compared to a lot of other shawarma locations, this his place hits the spot with the quality of the food as well as service. The hummus is just smooth to perfection. And on top of that the Tzatziki sauce with that gyro meat just blows my mind. Definitely the place to go for some great Gyro meat in Oklahoma. read more

I have a totally different opinion of Shawarma & Co after having just eaten one of the best gyros I've ever had. Driving home tonight, I was going through my mental list of places to stop and grab something. I ultimately decided a gyro sounded pretty good and that I ought to give S&C another chance. I am so glad I did. First off, the thing is huge. There's so much meat that you can't really pick it up, so I ate it deconstructed. The individual pieces had just a touch of crispness that added to the outstanding flavor and texture. Every bite was a pleasure. read more

We wanted something light for lunch so decided to go Mediterranean and try a place we haven't been to before, Shawarma & Co. We tried the tabouli salad, spicy hummus and rice (it comes with the vegetables). The tabouli salad was probably one of of the best I have had in a while. All the flavors were on point. The spicy hummus was good but I did not get the spicy flavor I was hoping for. Pita bread was fresh. As for the prices, I thought it was pretty reasonable. The atmosphere felt more like fast food as you go up to the counter to order before finding a table. Not a bad thing, just wanted to give others a heads up. I do wish the place was a little bigger though (and tables need to be wiped down faster after people leave). Overall, I would dine here again...especially for the tabouli! Next time we will come a little more hungry to try more menu items. But for a light meal (or snack), we were pleased. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first off, the two small dinners we got with sides cost $33+ tip. For 2 small wraps. The sides are stupid expensive for what you get (cold, soggy, unseasoned fries, and baba banoush that tastes NOTHING like baba ganoush but bland mush... not the tasty eggplant dish). The chicken in the shawarma was dry as heck and the gyro was bland and terrible. $33!!!!!! For this crap?!?!? If I could give this a negative billion rating, I would. I'm used to authentic cuisine of this kind, and this isn't close. Watch... they're going to blame it on the fact it was a to-go order. (Oh, and I always tip in cash instead of on a credit card I use to order food... because I think the people serving or taking orders deserve their money, having been a server in the past) read more

Went in early and it was slow. The gentleman at the counter was kind and explained everything very well. He never lost patience or enthusiasm even through 20 questions. As per the businesses policy mask are required here and staff all wore them. Prices reasonable. Got the chicken shwarma and it just didn't hit the spot for me. I was after something light and while tasty the chicken shwarma actually made me a little sleepy after eating it. The chicken itself was well cooked and had flavor. This is all personal preference but I would rather have a tzaki sauce than garlic sauce. If I try it again ill get a salad or a bowl and customize it. The gentleman at the counter mentioned he likes the bowls because you can customize them. read more

My husband and I decided to have lunch here after a doctors appointment. What a great decision. The place is clean, the food was delicious and service was outstanding! My wife and I visit this restaurant frequently. I have never had a meal that was not excellent. The food is fantastic. The spicy hummus is amazing! Additionally, the prices are very reasonable. It is an order at the counter restaurant, but your food is brought to you, and they usually catch you before you bus your table and take everything away for you. So very glad my fiancé and I decided to finally try out this place! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma meal (includes the wrap and 2 sides...I got fries and hummus) and my fiancé ordered the Classic Beef meal with the spicy hummus and tabouli salad. We both really liked and ate our entire meals! I think the only critique would be that I wish there was just a tad less sauce on the wraps. Other than that, service was fantastic and the restaurant itself was really clean and modern. We will be returning for sure to try some of the other things on the menu. read more

Fantastic food and fast service. I discovered this place a few years ago on the way to see family, and we quickly fell in love. Since then, we have stopped whenever we pass through. My mom has celica, and she has yet to get sick from eating here. The Gryos are some of the best I have ever had. The side of pickles with your meal is a nice touch. read more

The food was very start and the menu was well-thought out. I have a family on Monday-beef eaters, however the options left us pleasantly fulfilled. The service was good as they helped us in determine what items would be best for us. They checked up on us a couple times and helped in clearing the table. The place is a nice sit yourself restaurant with strong wooden tables. I definitely enjoyed the food and do recommend for others to give it a try! The prefixing is also more than reasonable, as I was able to feed a family of 5 and spend only 40$! read more

UPDATE 12/30: despite the food problem I will return to give this place another chance and here is why. The owner reached out immediately and the professionalism with which the problem was handled was amazing and a testimony to the love the owner has for his business. The food really was excellent as was the service, but sometimes food mistakes are made. Original review: The food and service was excellent- we had the gyro and shawarma plate which tasted amazing! However after eating here for dinner 12/28 I have been sick with non-stop food poisoning for 14 hours so far. Such a bummer because the food tasted great, just not a few hours later when it came back up. read more

Amazing food, most authentic middle eastern shawarma in the States. Hard workers that give great customer service. My go-to shawarma spot.

Shawarma and Co is amazing! We order from here quite a bit for work, and they are always so helpful and so kind when it comes to big orders. I've tried a few things from them, but my favorite is the chicken Shawarma Bowl. Add a little bit of everything, and I promise you it'll make your day. I love all the sauces on my rice bowl, but if you had to choose one - their garlic sauce never disappoints. Love their spicy hummus here too. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Got a beef gyro to go, and it came out in five minutes. Pros: LOTS of meat. The gyro was loaded. The pickled cauliflower, carrots, and peppers were delicious and really cut through the heaviness of the meal with some acidity. They were honestly the highlight. Soft bread. Everything was very flavorful and tasty! Cons: the food was too greasy and salty for my preference. Even the pickles were kind of salty! I wish there was more tomatoes to meat ratio, as the meal felt kind of heavy and not as fresh. Overall it was a pretty good gyro! Just not a light lunch (: read more
