We love everything at Turkish delight. We ordered the Mezze Platter, Salad (has pickled carrots and pickled cabbage that are house made, with pomegranate dressing- LOVE!), Chicken Tava, Iskender, Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza and a HUGE PORTION), and always the hot tea. The pistachio baklava is to die for! Sevim will come by to chat and both of her sons work along side her. Truly a small business, woman owned! Ask for extra spice! They will bring out a tiny bowl of dried spice or the fresh ground, the spice is such a fresh, new flavor! The decor is beautiful and classy. Lots of lovely Turkish lighting. The restaurant and bathrooms are sooo clean! (And I check the bathrooms of every restaurant...) This is the best Turkish food I have ever had! I try to make Lahmacun at home but I just can't get the flavor that Turkish Delight achieves. We will be back many many more times! read more

We've now visited Turkish Delight twice, and both experiences have been excellent. We first visited during their soft opening and were not disappointed. On that visit, I tried the beef tava for the first time, and it definitely won't be the last, the beef was incredibly tender, and the flavors were outstanding. I was especially excited to return because one of my favorite Turkish dishes, Iskender, was on the menu. On our second visit, I ordered it, and it was amazing. The only difference I noticed compared to others I've had was the absence of the melted, browned butter typically poured over the top, but it was still absolutely delicious, and I enjoyed every bite. Finally made it to Turkish Delight. Let me say we were BLOWN AWAY at the food quality!! The wait staff was super helpful, attentive and friendly. I was too excited and we ate the mezze plate before I got a picture but everything was phenomenal. I got the ayran to drink and loved it! We split the mezze plate and an additional complimentary bread and dip. T got the chicken tava and I got the Adana Kebab. I left so full and have a meal for tomorrow. The chicken was moist and good gosh what a great flavor! The kebab was smoky and juicy. Definitely a MUST try if you love Turkish food. Hands down I'd say the best I've ever had. read more

The most spontaneous decisions are sometimes the best ones! We didn't plan on having a lamb gyros at the state fair but it turned out to be a great decision! My husband and I shared a lamb gyros and it was amazing! Every flavor is bursting. We immediately followed Turkish Delight on Facebook to follow and eat here again. We have not been able to track them down yet but our compromise is that when we track them down, we are getting our own gyro. No more sharing this deliciousness. Attended the Grand Opening of the brick and mortar location on 15th Street in Edmond. Everyone, from hostess to waiters to the chef, was incredibly kind. My waitress explained the menu to me and helped me select my order. The dining area is beautifully decorated with flowers on the individual table. I ordered the Chicken Tava, Baklava, and traditional Turkish Tea. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Will be returning!!! read more

Stumbled across this place while out running errands. Hadn't even planned to have lunch while out, but so glad I did. The entire staff was friendly and engaging. Despite having only been open a week, things were moving smoothly and quickly. Everything on the menu looked great. I settled on Adana Kebab. Beautifully seasoned and tender lamb, accompanied by lots of veggies, flat bread and delicious yogurt sauce. Turkish hot tea was lovely and the rice pudding was quite a treat to finish with. I have never had such amazing food and experience! Everything, EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing! The whole family order a little of everything on the menu and we couldn't stop eating well after being full. The owner came to our table and my dad mentioned a few things he missed from Turkey and wouldnt you know it, 10 minutes later shes bringing out some of the food he mentioned. What a amazing person. So I've been stalking-er ummm.... following this food trucks Facebook for a while. When you find a business with pretty much perfect ratings and only a couple reviews you kind of look at it cross, am I right? Well, now I'm certain those other couple reviews aren't friends or family. When I ordered the woman at the window told me I'd have to wait a bit because they make it fresh (no complaints here!). The "wait" the woman spoke of was hardly anything, they were very quick! I had the Doner Sandwich (pictured) & you could taste the difference in every bite of nothing being prepped. The meat was seasoned well, the veggies crisp and the gyro bread nice and fluffy. I will definitely hit this truck up again in the future. read more
