Tasty eats found @ the corner of S Boulevard and 15th Street (in the gas station parking lot). March 2020.

Do you ever wanna escape, just a little, for a moment in time..? (#corona2020). In the smallest, and dare I say, most exciting of ways we can take adventures through food. Through food we get glimpses of life outside of what we know to be today's ho-hum routine, if we let it. The Taco Loco Food Truck is parked in a shady gas station parking lot I've driven by a thousand times (and I still can't tell you the name of that gas station). Location: the corner of Boulevard & 15th in Edmond. Here one night, while eating the macho burrito with carnitas, I had one of these winsome escapes. There's these pickled things--a punch of color on the styrofoam plate-- that shine a spotlight on the meat and all its friends in the burrito in a spectacular way. The carnitas was so tender and juicy. (I've also had it filled with asada--same deal--great protein). The hot, fresh and chewy tortilla was the size of my face. These little salsas you have to ask for, otherwise you won't get them, spike the spice experience up a couple of notches--and it's the best kind of deliciousness. I'm also a big fan of their enchiladas, rice and beans. Pass the torch to Taco Loco Food Truck as one of the best Mexican food trucks in Edmond. May the torch shine bright as a beacon of light in an otherwise overlooked gas station corner at 15th and Boulevard. Order take-out. Find your escape. April 2020

Tacos - asada, carne, pollo, carnitas, and pastor.
Shu E.

We've driven by this taco truck so many times because it's right around the corner to where our favorite poke place is, and ohmygod. I will never forgive myself for not coming here earlier. Because the food here...was absolute heaven. We had five different tacos - asada, pastor, pollo, carnitas, and barbacoa. My two favorites were the pastor, and the barbacoa. But they were all just little pieces of taco heaven. I'll admit, the asada was a little chewy but the flavor it came with made up for the slight chewy texture. Everything else was cooked just wonderfully. Be sure to ask for the salsa if you're ordering tacos. The salsa roja (red one) has a little kick to it, so if you're a little afraid of spicy food, get the salsa verde (the green one). However you like it, be sure to ask for it! They don't put it in the bag by default, but I think the tacos would've been incomplete without it. I dressed mine with both of them, and that did it for me. That was the PERFECT combination. Boyfriend got the enchiladas, and I'm pretty sure he almost regretted not getting a second plate despite being crazy full after this one plate. I had a little bite, and oh man. How!?! So so good. Y'all, if you're ever around this corner, and you see this little taco truck - stop by, and just try it out for yourself. The prices were so reasonable we almost fell into the trap of buying more than we could eat. But all in all - we will definitely, definitely, be coming back. PS: It's cash only! So bring the $$$!

I wasn't incredibly impressed with this place. The carnitas didn't have much flavor at all, but the pastor was decent.

Always bomb ass burritos and tacos. You should eat here. Though, skip the torta. It's not the best. Stick to the classics.

Allways consistantly good food but sucks it only takes cash but I understand that as well. Carna asada fries are good but only if fresh

Great food. Usually a good place for a meal. But…read more.. Was very very loud last time we went. Like a nightclub. It's usually quite to normal volume Mexican music like any normal Mexican restaurant but last time was like someone multiplied the noise level by a factor of 10 or more. But we had a very loud noisy experience our last time that really ruined the last experience... And when we politely asked if they could lower the music the lady couldn't speak English so we just had to sit there and take it, essentially eating in silence bc it was so loud we couldn't hear anyone even right next to us. This was on their 10 or 25 anniversary or something but really ruined our meal & make us wonder why they would celebrate by ruining all their customers meals that day. Management should rethink stuff like that. I guess it might be fun for the employees to blast music as loud as a nightclub and dance instead of doing their jobs but it's not very fun for the customers who can't get much service and can't talk to each other while they're eating. This whole experience made the people I was with never want to go there again, even though I tried to say that this was probably a one time thing and that the food is really good, but yeah, my friends & family will sadly not be back. Plus I would think they would at least hire staff that can at least speak basic English. I can understand not knowing big works but not knowing basic English like: 1st attempt by my shy friend: "ma'am can you please turn down the volume a little bit? Bc we can't hear anyone at our table at it's giving my mom a headache." 2nd attempt by me: "IT'S TOO LOUD!" But no... the Lady responded both times with a "my hair pretty? Thanks" I was truly mind blown. Truly a horrible experience to spend money on. We can't afford to go eat often so it sucks when we end up wasting our money on a wasted experience like this when we could've had a better experience at home for less. Truly a letdown.

Agave Azul - First visit and definitely not our last…read more We finally decided to try Agave Azul for the first time and wow... huge win. We showed up right at opening and were seated immediately -- always a great start. Elli, our server, was fantastic from the jump. Drinks came out fast and we were quickly set up with fresh chips and salsa. My wife thought the salsa could use a pinch more salt (totally personal preference), but the chips were good and addictive. We ordered the tableside Guacamole Mexicano, and that alone is worth the visit. Made fresh and packed with flavor. Pro tip: ask for everything that comes with it, and if you're feeling adventurous, add a squeeze of orange along with the lime -- it takes it over the top. Trust me on this one. I went with the lunch fajitas, served on a sizzling skillet just the way they should be. Plenty of fixings -- lettuce, pico, sour cream, rice and beans. (Next time I'll swap the refried beans -- just not my thing.) Great flavor and generous portion. My wife had the ground beef enchilada and thoroughly enjoyed it -- clean plate club. And of course... we couldn't leave without dessert. The Churros were an absolute winner. Crispy outside, soft inside, sweet and perfect for sharing. Honestly, we're just wondering why it took us so long to try this place. Great service, fresh food, and a relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend giving Agave Azul a shot!

When we walked in, an older woman greeted us right away with the sweetest smile and seated us immediately. She ended up being our hostess and was so kind and attentive the whole time. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety and the prices are very reasonable, especially for how much food you get. I'll admit I was a little unsure when I saw queso wasn't complimentary, because sometimes when you pay for it, it's not that great, can tell it's made with velveeta. But we ordered the large anyway and it was actually really good. The salsa was just right too, not too mild but not overly spicy. I ordered the enchilada platter and wasn't sure how I'd feel about the red sauce, so I also got a beef chimichanga on the side just in case I did not like the red sauce. Both were really good, and the chimichanga was way bigger than I expected, honestly a full meal by itself. My daughter got the Cowboy Quesadilla and said it was the best one she's had in a while. My husband ordered the steak fajitas and really liked them, his only comment was that the steak pieces were a little thin. Overall, everything was great. The food, the service, and just how genuinely kind our hostess was really stood out. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

I had the burrito Hawaiian and it was delicious. I will be back for it, just note some might find it a touch spicy. My girlfriends all enjoyed their meals. I was disappointed in the fried ice cream, I thought the ice cream could have been a better quality and if you don't like coconut do not order because the crust includes it.
