Needed a quick bite before my errands and got 2 (minimum order) delicious breakfast tacos for just over $5. The combo of egg, potato and beans was amazing. Their green (mild) and red (hot) combined was just right. Tacos made to order, not overly loud, and service is impeccable. They also offer waters like traditional Horchata. Biggest pro they have, unlimited pickles and unlimited salsa and sauce. The con to that is that I wished the salsa was a bit more flavorful. The pickles were great though! Got a great kick to it and I had to stop myself for a second. We got tacos, and burritos. The burrito was alright, but not exactly anything to shout about. Pros is that it was a very generous portion, and it came with a side of chips. I tried four different tacos, and while they were pretty decent for the price, I wish they had a little more flavor. Loved the fish tacos though! Have it with a ton of the salsa all over, and it ends up tasting pretty decent. All in all, really not too bad for the price! I'd try it at least once. read more

Swung by with some family to try some tacos. Ordered a variety of tacos. Pretty simple setting. My husband got a asada burrito, but it just had rice, beans, and meat. I wish they had a few more toppings in the burrito, so if you're looking for more toppings (might have to ask them for it). The asada tacos were pretty good, more on the simple side. The cabeza was a tender and tastier than the asada. Between the two, I preferred the cabeza. Ok everyone, I have to say CM is the best authentic Mexican Restaurant in Edmond. I came from downtown Santa Ana and Anaheim in So Cal. I know good Mexican grub. This place has amazing food, fair prices and most importantly a crazy good red sauce. TRUE STORY....... I literally ordered a 32 oz cup of sauce with my order to add to my Eggs and Hash Browns on Sat A.M. I had like half left that would have gone to waste, but I drank it. Yes, drank that shit straight up. It destroyed my intestines, but OMG, it was good. From Tacos to Tortas, this place hits the mark on every level. The food is not good. I have never had a runny taco salad before and I have NEVER been charged for the topping on an enchilada before. $2.50 for the little bit of cheese on the skinny cheese enchilada. They charge for Queso too. No offer of tortillas so I don't know if those are an extra charge or not. I don't know how long this place has been here, but I doubt it'll be here long unless they improve their food and cut out the stupid up charges. Ted's is way better! read more

I LOVE this place. It is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in OK. It's simple, it's not too costly, and it's as authentic as you can get here. Now this is NOT Tex-Mex whatever nonsense you get at tacobell or any chain "Mexican" restaurant in Oklahoma. This is menudo on the weekend, street tacos made from everything from carne asada to tongue! Their drinks are all great. Service is great. It's English friendly with #'s so you're not too confused if you don't speak Spanish. And it's for sure BUSY during lunch time lol. Every work truck in edmond is here and they're here for a reason. My favorite place for authentic and well priced Mexican food in Edmond. I've been going there for years

Understated taqueria in Edmond. While this is at the intersection of Edmond Road and Fretz there is no access to the parking lot from Fretz. You'll be needing to enter the copious parking lot from the Edmond Rd. side of things. This is a smaller restaurant, and the service is of the order at counter and pick up when called variety. There are a number of both/table combos which are for the most part unremarkable. The decor is somewhat utilitarian. While it's clean the floor is concrete, the walls are primary colors, the condiment case is stainless steel and in general the ambiance is plebian. Service is of the order and we'll bring it out variety, unless it's to go, in which case it'll be handed over the counter. The salsas are very liquid-one could say watered down except for the extraordinary flavor. Makes me wonder how spicy they were to start with. The food is actually quite good. The street tacos are awesome, and the burritos are pretty solid. As five to six dollars will get you a decent sized burrito, some chips and salsa or a couple of tacos and a drink. It's easily one of the better wallet friendly places around. It's not perfect-the dining room is a tad in the grungy side, yet this is one of the better taco joints in Edmond for sure. read more

Dingy and drab on the inside? Yes. In need of a thorough cleaning from top to bottom? Most likely, yes. But the food is really good, and the prices are reasonable. Expect cursory but fairly friendly and relatively fast counter service, not table service. I will likely continue to go elsewhere in the OKC metro area simply because, to be candid, south OKC has a million little joints just like Carnitas Michoacán. Now to be fair the first time I went which was more than two years ago it was full of Mexican people eating inside. Which is always a good sign, had a great experience then. It is a small place just off Edmond road in a small strip mall type place so there is easy parking it is extremely clean lots of seating they have pictures of the food so you can see what you order they are quick with your order and pricing is on point if you like great food try it you won't be disappointed read more

Holy GORDITA! This place is tasty. I think that might have been the best gordita I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. It actually kind of subsides my San Antonio born puffy taco cravings a bit. I got the pork and it was cooked perfectly. Honestly the rest of the things on the plate paled in comparison to the deliciousness of stewed pork and fried corn bread. This place is OMG amazing! Great service, delicious, authentic food. It reminds me of LA. We were so excited the second we walked in. I have been here twice already, and it has pretty good authentic Mexican food for a very low price. Don't expect much for the atmosphere since it is nothing special or fancy. The best authentic Mexican food I've tried in Oklahoma City! It's a little hole in the wall restaurant, but the food is so good--you won't be disappointed. My favorite dish so far is the chilaquiles which is kind of like nachos, but it is smothered in red sauce and topped with a little cheese. I got the mild version and it is still pretty spicy so be careful if you don't like spicy food. The enchiladas and menudo are fantastic as well. Stopped by for some breakfast burritos. Very simple small place in a strip mall. Menu mostly in Spanish. Ordered an eggs/chorizo and Mexican egg burrito. Eggs/chorizo was okay. Mexican egg burrito was scrambled eggs with fried tomatoes, peppers and onions. It was my favorite of the two. The flour tortillas were dry on the edges. They had some red and green sauce and limes to doctor up your burrito to whatever spicy level you wanted. I favored the red sauce. The breakfast burritos overall were okay. The place as mentioned early was simple with maybe a dozen small tables. Price was reasonable for the burritos. Must try the others stuff on the menu to give this place a fair rating overall which I will do soon. For now the 3-star rating is for their breakfast burritos. For Edmond, it was a good change of pace and convenient for us. There are many other places like this around and especially in Oklahoma City. read more

I can't say I loved it, but it was not bad. There seemed to be plenty of seating available. They still had their Christmas decor up, which was interesting. I didn't think the tacos had much flavor. They were just sort of bland to me. My husband, however, thought the tacos were excellent and he will definitely return without me. So I'm gonna swim against the stream on all these positive reviews. While this place is a-okay I wouldn't make a special trip. We took some friends who were visiting from Mexico. They said it was relatively authentic, though the tacos al pastor was nothing like any of us expected. They ordered a handful of tacos, my husband got a gordita, and I got fish tacos and tacquitos. The hubby said the gordita was "eh, good". So 3 stars seems accurate. My food was decent. The fish tacos were yummy and I would order them each time. The tacquito needed tons of salt though and was lacking flavor. A few reasons we weren't crazy about the place was it had a funky smell. Didn't smell very clean. Also, the salsa bar seemed like it had seen better days. The radishes were floating in lukewarm water, the limes seemed like they got cut long ago. Just kinda unappetizing. The food here is good. My husband and kids liked it. I thought is was regular taqueria with a vast selection of meats and combination plates which are all pictured. The girl at the counter took my order and everything came out, as ordered. I ordered the shrimp ceviche which was ok. Not too limed and not extraordinary. The low rating is mostly due to the bathroom not having any hand soap. None...not even an empty dispenser..I saw women handling food, but no soap in the bathroom. Yuck. That really really grossed me out. We had already eaten and luckily I had soap in my purse...aggh the joys of motherhood:| But really, no soap in the bathroom is a deal breaker. Spoilers, I live on 10th street in OKC, so I like to think I know a little about tacos. I've hit up just about all of the trucks from the shady valero El Dolar all the way down to Sanchez. This place is good. No frills, not a truck, but that's okay. It's cheap, and it's awesome to have a taqueria option in Edmond. The other review mention the salsa, and man, it is legit.
