    Burrito

Biggest pro they have, unlimited pickles and unlimited salsa and sauce. The con to that is that I wished the salsa was a bit more flavorful. The pickles were great though! Got a great kick to it and I had to stop myself for a second. We got tacos, and burritos. The burrito was alright, but not exactly anything to shout about. Pros is that it was a very generous portion, and it came with a side of chips. I tried four different tacos, and while they were pretty decent for the price, I wish they had a little more flavor. Loved the fish tacos though! Have it with a ton of the salsa all over, and it ends up tasting pretty decent. All in all, really not too bad for the price! I'd try it at least once.

Swung by with some family to try some tacos. Ordered a variety of tacos. Pretty simple setting. My husband got a asada burrito, but it just had rice, beans, and meat. I wish they had a few more toppings in the burrito, so if you're looking for more toppings (might have to ask them for it). The asada tacos were pretty good, more on the simple side. The cabeza was a tender and tastier than the asada. Between the two, I preferred the cabeza. Our friends got chicken which seemed a little on the dry size and I think didnt prefer that over the other meat. Swing by to try some tacos!

Finally made it here again after a few years and it's still so good and very reasonably priced! If you're in Edmond and want good fast Hispanic food go here!

This place is the place in Edmond to go for some real authentic Mexican food! So good! I had the mexican eggs and they were absolutely delicious and just like my Abuela would make for me. I'll be back again and again! They also have agua fresca!

I LOVE this place. It is hands down the best Mexican food I've had in OK. It's simple, it's not too costly, and it's as authentic as you can get here. Now this is NOT Tex-Mex whatever nonsense you get at tacobell or any chain "Mexican" restaurant in Oklahoma. This is menudo on the weekend, street tacos made from everything from carne asada to tongue! Their drinks are all great. Service is great. It's English friendly with #'s so you're not too confused if you don't speak Spanish. And it's for sure BUSY during lunch time lol. Every work truck in edmond is here and they're here for a reason. Never been disappointed. 5 stars!!!

Understated taqueria in Edmond. While this is at the intersection of Edmond Road and Fretz there is no access to the parking lot from Fretz. You'll be needing to enter the copious parking lot from the Edmond Rd. side of things. This is a smaller restaurant, and the service is of the order at counter and pick up when called variety. There are a number of both/table combos which are for the most part unremarkable. The decor is somewhat utilitarian. While it's clean the floor is concrete, the walls are primary colors, the condiment case is stainless steel and in general the ambiance is plebian. Service is of the order and we'll bring it out variety, unless it's to go, in which case it'll be handed over the counter. The salsas are very liquid-one could say watered down except for the extraordinary flavor. Makes me wonder how spicy they were to start with. The food is actually quite good. The street tacos are awesome, and the burritos are pretty solid. As five to six dollars will get you a decent sized burrito, some chips and salsa or a couple of tacos and a drink. It's easily one of the better wallet friendly places around. It's not perfect-the dining room is a tad in the grungy side, yet this is one of the better taco joints in Edmond for sure.

The entry way to a delicious journey!!

The patio space in the front was very secluded and lush, we had it entirely to ourselves. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. They even brought out a water bowl with ice for our pups. We loved our drinks. My espresso martini was boozy and not too sweet with a love whipped topping on top. Her Road to Hana was very refreshing and the pineapple tajin garnish hit the spot. Quick shout out to the dinner rolls and butter. I was starving so this held me over while our shareables came out. The Spicy Caesar was nice, loved the hit of heat that came with it. The Chicken Pepperjack Strudel, a signature dish, was really really good. Just wish it was warmer in the center but yea definitely order this. Juan's queso is not a typical queso dish. First, it's real cheese and it comes with a black bean puree, salsa verde, and avocado thinly sliced on top. We loved it, especially my wife. If you're in search of a higher end dining experience in OKC, Cheever's is a must.

I came here with a large group of about 8 of us with a reservation made early on. We were seated in a nice, private room and had an overall very lovely experience! First of all, our server Trey was just spot on with all of his recommendations. He recommended the crab cakes, the halibut, and anything that came with the spicy shrimp risotto. Our table got crab cakes to start, and this was probably my favorite dish of the evening! The crab cake was large, fluffy, and full of lump crab topped with a spicy and delicious salsa verde and pico. For the entree I ordered the halibut which was cooked well, but the side of spicy shrimp risotto definitely stole the show (as Trey accurately predicted). Most of our party ordered this and everyone was pretty happy with it! For dessert, our table shared chocolate cake and the coconut creme pie. The chocolate cake was very rich and was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've had, and I'm not a big chocolate cake person. I still definitely preferred the coconut creme pie, which I would order again next time! Our service was fantastic for the evening, and when Trey tells you to order something, trust him and do it!

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.
