My brother took me here for my birthday. It's a really nice restaurant and we were able to grab a late lunch around 2:00 thinking it would be empty, and well this place has a reputation so I don't think it's ever truly empty but we didn't have to wait long for a table considering we didn't think to make a reservation. The place is really cute and is kind of hidden off the path from 23rd St. the first thing you see is a giant refrigerator full of wine that looks like it used to be in a florist shop. Lots of exposed brick and a beautiful bar. We got a queso dip appetizer that didn't look appetizing once we mixed it all up, but it was incredible and we both got Chicken Fried Steak. It was plated beautifully and tasted even better. Our server, Miriam, provided excellent service.

Doing a day trip to OKC and needed a nice place to enjoy lunch where we could bring our dogs. AI sent us to Cheever's and what a lovely choice it was. The patio space in the front was very secluded and lush, we had it entirely to ourselves. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. They even brought out a water bowl with ice for our pups. We loved our drinks. My espresso martini was boozy and not too sweet with a love whipped topping on top. Her Road to Hana was very refreshing and the pineapple tajin garnish hit the spot. Quick shout out to the dinner rolls and butter. I was starving so this held me over while our shareables came out. The Spicy Caesar was nice, loved the hit of heat that came with it. The Chicken Pepperjack Strudel, a signature dish, was really really good. Just wish it was warmer in the center but yea definitely order this. Juan's queso is not a typical queso dish. First, it's real cheese and it comes with a black bean puree, salsa verde, and avocado thinly sliced on top. We loved it, especially my wife. If you're in search of a higher end dining experience in OKC, Cheever's is a must.

I always love Cheevers. It is so consistent and very good. Underrated lunch spot as well. Great for a special occasion or a night out with a small group of friends.

This dinner was a surprise for my wife -- a true date night (though I don't usually call it that). We go out often, but this evening was special: my early retirement celebration. I made reservations, though arriving early meant they probably weren't necessary. I had been here once before just for dessert, so this time I took my wife and we went all in. Our server, Luisa, was outstanding -- warm, funny, and incredibly helpful. My wife isn't much of a drinker, but Luisa recommended a cocktail she ended up loving! I stuck with my go-to: gin and grapefruit juice. For starters, I couldn't decide between appetizers, so my wife went with a cup of soup while I ordered the chopped salad. The soup -- a rich beef stew-style creation -- was hearty and flavorful, while my salad hit all the right notes thanks to the blue cheese crumbles and the lemon vinaigrette. When it came to entrées, I was torn between the Filet and the Halibut. My wife went with the Filet, served with mashed potatoes and green beans, while I chose the Tortilla-Crusted Halibut with spicy shrimp risotto. Both dishes were excellent, but I have to admit -- that Filet may be one of the best I've ever tasted. Slight food envy, but no regrets -- I'll just order the Filet next time! Dessert was a must. I'd had it before and couldn't leave without it. The Ice Cream Ball is pure magic -- a large scoop of vanilla ice cream rolled in candied pecans, covered in chocolate, and topped with a fresh strawberry. Absolutely shareable and absolutely incredible. I also grabbed a slice of Coconut Cream Pie to take home (and I couldn't wait to dig in!). Cheever's never disappoints -- it's the perfect spot for a celebration, a date night, or just a night out when you want something memorable.

I went to Cheever's last week and I was so excited because I had heard so many good things. The restaurant had such a cute vibe and it was nice and quiet when we went during brunch. Our server was so kind and fun and helpful by offering us recommendations. I tried the chicken and pepperjack strudel which I didn't love the taste of. The flavors didn't feel like they went together for me and it was kind of a confusion taste. I also ordered the Italian sausage rigatoni which they made for me even though it wasn't on the brunch menu which was so kind of them. That was overall much better but a bit oily and heavy. The did give us bread for the table which was great! I think I'll be back and will try some other items on the menu because everyone talks about how amazing their food is. For me it just was a bit of a miss that day.

Cute place. I highly recommend making reservations as it seems pretty popular. We went on 2/7/27 @ 1:15pm and it was pretty full. It's located in a part of town that had a lot of other stuff around; shopping, tattoo shop & other restaurants. The staff was great and food was very good. The have by far the best rolls I have ever had. They give you a basket when you sit down. So good! Price is fair. The menu is a bit small but has good variety. I'm not giving it a 5 because I've had better brunch but it wasn't bad.

I loved our dinner. The food was incredible! The service was good. The Preservation drink was the best ever. The Almost Famous was beautiful but a little bit on the sour side. The dessert drink similar to a White Russian but with cinnamon (I forget the name) was very tasty. The bread is delicious. It's the smoked salt they sprinkle on the butter that makes it extra special. The Bleu cheese potato chips were out of this world! The bacon is high quality. We got a full order and of course we couldn't finish it. I enjoyed them the next day after I heated the leftovers up in an air fryer (worked great). The chicken fried steak looked wonderful and my husband really liked it. The salmon was perfection. The polenta was yummy. The greens were flavorful. The sauce really pulled it together. I'd eat this again anytime. The crispness of the salmon = magic. I can't recommend this highly enough. We split a spicy Caesar salad. It was ok. Wish we had gotten a different salad. It was a decent Caesar and certainly spicy, but nothing special. Overall we took quite a bit of food home and I enjoyed all the leftovers. If I'm ever in OKC again, I'm going here first.

The ambience was perfect for more private conversations given the different divided sections of the restaurant that can make a large restaurant more cozy. We had a reservation and were seated right away and our waiter quickly welcomed us and gave us a little history about the flower shop building. The beer selection does not include most of popular beers, but it does have IPAs & Yuengling beer. They do have a pretty extensive wine selection and some cocktails, mocktails, & spirits. The complimentary warm bread and butter made for a great start. To start, we had JUAN'S QUESO CHIHUAHUA, a southwest layer dip: black bean puree, avocado, tomatillo salsa, tortilla chips which was absolutely delicious. The three of us had the QUINOA AVOCADO SALAD, with red quinoa, avocado, chile-lime corn, pico de gallo, goat cheese, almonds, garlic vinaigrette, CHEEVER'S CHICKEN FRIED STEAK with jalapeño cream gravy and garlic red-skinned mashed potatoes, and SHRIMP AND GRITS, Bacon-wrapped jumbo shrimp, cheddar-green onion grits, sriracha-honey butter. For dessert we had the ROASTED PECAN ICE CREAM BALL, a vanilla ice cream rolled in brown sugar roasted pecans and red chile - smothered in chocolate sauce.

Very classy but not pretentious. Staff are quick to bring you what you request. We went for a light snack before dinner. We elected for pork stew (cup) and warm banana bread with cold butter that sits and melts after they bring it to you. My only complaint is the mocktail was very pretty but way too much ginger making it not drinkable. But if I was back in the area I would definitely visit again. Oh and the rolls with the butter in the little square container are the absolute best!!

Went here with a couple coworkers and the server was great. He laughed and joked with us which was nice to lighten up the mood at dinner. We had a great meal and the atmosphere was also good. Parking lot was small, but there was plenty of street parking around the building. They do take reservations so I would recommend making one just in case they get busy. The ribeye and the espresso martini were very good and would highly recommend.

Had a really great experience here. Some of the tables are teeny tiny but the food and drinks were wonderful. Really enjoyed the crab cakes. They have lump crab and may just be the best around! Our server was super attentive and fast at everything. I'll be back!

Despite the many high-star rated food reviews, I thought the food was fairly average. The sizing was large, but I expected a bit more to the level of flavoring since the restaraunt had high reviews at 4.5 on Google. Maybe it was just an off day. I placed my order to-go, so I did a pick-up so I can't say much on a dine-in experience ambiance with them or the staff. I got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. The chicken fried steak was a bit overcooked, as it was kind of dry inside. The mashed potatoes were yummy though, and bread was included.

Is it quiet enough to have a normal conversation?

Yes. I feel like the back dining room might be a bit louder than the area by the bar, but at weekend brunch at least, I've never had trouble having a normal conversation.

What are the Brunch hours. Cant seem to figure that out:,(?

From eating there a few times. When seated on a Saturday/Sunday morning early afternoon I feel like they asked if you wanted to order off the brunch menu which was dropped off with regular menu. Hopefully that makes sense.

How to get info on private dining?

They do have a private dining area. The only way I know to get information on it is call them for rates.

Is the brunch menu only available on Saturdays and Sundays?

I believe that's true. They open at 10am Sat-Sun. You might call Cheever's to confirm.

Do you have to make a reservation or can you walk in?

I walked in. Party of three.

I've heard the parking at Cheever's is very limited. Is that true?

Yes. Across the street is some parking and some on NW 23rd but be careful... there are tow away zones in the back alleys that are heavily enforced

What gluten free options are offered?

I do not know look at the menu

This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

The hubby had Honey Roasted Lavender Chicken which he declared to be one of the best chicken dishes he's ever had. He even raved over the vegetables that came with it. Of course I also had to try dessert. I loved my warm spice cake with a scoop of ice cream and swirls of buttery caramel rum sauce. The cake was so moist and paired perfectly with the sauce and ice cream. Our wait staff was friendly and professional. I forgot to jot down names so I could give them a shout out. Excellent staff is always a part of an excellent dining experience. This was just a delightful experience. The host even gave us the name of some nearby live music venues that we enjoyed later that evening. We will certainly return here the next time we are in OKC. If you are ever in the city, make a reservation and stop by for a fabulous experience.

To me it was not spicy... I would have like more spicy heat. Overall, delicious! - Hot Rod Pizza | amazing flavor combination... crust sauce and toppings were all very yummy. Was good hot and even better the next day cold Service was great - friendly and upbeat staff. Large and lively establishment - I love how they had The Princess Bride playing on the big screen (muted). Definitely a good spot for groups. It was a little loud... so be prepared to compete with the crowd when having a conversation. Would I go back? Yes! So much more yumminess to try!

There was an OKC thunder watch party on the patio, so we sat there and enjoyed the game. The inside had a more laid back environment, but I enjoyed the patio. The food was really good too! Most of us got burgers, but we also enjoyed some good appetizers. Highly recommend the dip platter to start. Our server was really nice and attentive, despite the chaos of the watch party and a busy night. Highly recommend coming here for the food and events they host!
