Hot Beef Sandwich with a gluten free open faced bun
    C Daniel C.

A friend mentioned this place on social media the other day so we decided we would try it for dinner tonight. What a great little place! My wife had the hot beef sandwich and really enjoyed it. She said the roast beef was really tender and seasoned well. I had the bacon cheeseburger, but added a fried egg to it. I love it when I can add a fried egg to a burger! Instead of french fries I decided to try the onion rings which were cooked perfectly and were nice and thick. My other daughter had the regular burger and french fries. She thought the french fries were excellent and were nice and crunchy. Overall, this was a great experience and we really enjoyed it. I definitely want to go back and try their chicken fried steak or chicken tenders because they looked really really good when I saw other people ordering them.

First time here and we really liked it...will definitely be back. Burgers were juicy and tasty. Server was amazing! He was a one man show zipping from table to table taking care of everybody and not missing a beat. Place looks pretty new and clean. I'll definitely be back, anxious to try out some of their roast beef dishes

Becoming a regular spot for our lazy dinner nights! I'm a big sauce person and the ranch alone is worth the trip! The fries, okra and every burger we've tried so far we've thoroughly enjoyed! Great wait staff as well.

Roast Beef dinner w/ mash potatoes and green beans. French dip with green beans. Our order today was to go and everything was perfect. Always service with a smile and prompt on food being ready at time given for pickup. Would recommend anything on the menu

Another excellent visit to Patties, came on a Friday for lunch and it was busy. I'm glad they're doing well because their food is legit! On this trip I tried their fried onion cheeseburger and for my side, I was try to be almost healthy and picked the green beans. Just so you know, when you walk in , grab a menu and decide , then get in line to order, they give you a number and you find a seat, if they aren't busy, they may do things differently but on this trip , thats how it worked ... Anyway ,,on to the important stuff ...food came out fast besides them being busy, burger was nice and hot , cheesy and oniony, (yes i made that up ) I knew i should've ordered double meat !! Now I know .. Green beans were cooked with my favorite seasoning --BACON--and they were tasty! Staff were super nice and my drink was refilled more than once,,,,nice job Patties,,it was a great lunch!

First time, ordered a veggie burger with a side of green beans. It was one of the best veggie patties I've had! However, the green beans had bacon in them, and while its my mistake for not asking, I would hope the staff would inform the customer ordering a vegetarian burger that their side of vegetables isn't vegetarian. My party enjoyed their burgers too but noticed that the "premium" side of mac and cheese was box mac and cheese (probably Kraft) with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Sucked to pay extra for that. But the fries were good.

I love eating local and this place is definitely that! I went with the "special of the day." Chicken fried steak sandwich, fries, and a drink $11! Great price, great portion, get taste. Small spot very cozy. Wonderful friendly staff! Will definitely be back!

Word is out on a new local burger, etc. spot (formerly the Hive). Went for lunch on a Friday a little after 11:00 and were third in line to order. By the time we left the line was 5 deep, no open tables and people waiting outside. Take out orders were also steady. Although busy, the two staff running the front never seemed overwhelmed, but never stopped taking orders, running out orders, bussing tables and refilling drinks. Kudos! Our order came in a reasonable amount of time and was HOT! I ordered the old-fashioned burger with mustard instead of the Pattie sauce. I did ask for it on the side to try. Glad I did as it was similar to Thousand Island (not a fan) plus it's not an old-fashioned without mustard. The okra side was some of the best I've had; hot, lightly battered, not overcooked and I could actually taste the okra. My wife had the onion burger which had both grilled and haystack (?) onions which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her fries where hot and much better than fast food fries. The seating area has basic furniture and nothing on the walls except for 2 TVs. The music was classic rock and thankfully well short of concert volume. We will be back to try other menu items after the newness wears off a bit.

I was chatting with someone about food joints a few days ago, and she suggested Patties Hamburgers and Roast Beef. So off I went, and first of all, I felt welcomed by Claire. She discussed the menu with me and suggested the Jalapeno-stuffed burger, and it was awesome. It was full-flavored, delicious, and with the fires on the side, it was well-rounded. The location is tucked away in a shopping center with other choices, but rest assured, if you make Patties your choice, you will not be disappointed. Thanks, Claire, for the help, and welcome to Patties!

I'm not a golfer, I've golfed and I've been to the driving range but it's just not for me! However, I have found out some of the best food is served at golf courses. Since I was eating solo I sat at the bar. The menu was intriguing and I had to give some thought as to what I wanted to try. I knew I wanted a sandwich or burger so I went back and forth between the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, Pulled Pork, and the burgers. I finally decided I'm at The Lookout why not just go with the signature Lookout Burger. It was delicious, the smoky bacon stuck out the most along with the pimento cheese! The burger was nice and juicy. The only negative was the bun! It just didn't hold up to the burger. The fries were good as I asked for them to be crispy! I sat in front of a fully stocked bar but this was only a lunch break and I had to return to work. Madison was the person behind the bar and she was delightful! After I finished and she brought the tab we discussed best options for lunch, her top choice was the French Dip. That being one of my favorite sandwiches I must return to try it out! This being a golf course restaurant one would naturally see a lot of the golf theme. However, you don't have to golf to enjoy some good food! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

We arrived during happy hour and my husband and I ordered a Oaxacan theme drink with mezcal (YUM!) ; my son in law got the Changes in Attitude (frozen bourbon and coke with Buffalo Trace Bourbon) and our daughter ordered the Risk it for the 'Biscus which was a hibiscus flavored moscow mule. We started out with the squash puppies appetizer that comes with jalepeno jam and honey butter. My, these were like like angel pillows of fluffy decadence. I cut mine in half and put jam on one side and butter on the other and wow!!!! Our little grandson was devouring those things. Those are definitely craveworthy. I ordered the smoked sirloin that comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and balsamic brussels sprouts. Every single bit of thise dish was delicous beyond belief. The steak was cooked just a tad more than what I asked for (medium rare) but it was not enough for me to mention to the waitress because it was still so very delicious. The potatoes and gravy were absolute perfection and I could have dreams about the brussels sprouts. The rest of our party ordered the grilled chicken power bowl, the chopped cheesesteak sandwich and the grilled chicken bacon club on a pretzel bun. The chicken club was a big hit at our table. I think I was the only who did not try it because I had enough going on with my meal. We really enjoy the Winston Churchill theme and the vibe here. The wait staff here is absolutely top notch.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

That led us back to Biglow's Burgers, and once again, they didn't disappoint. If you're on the hunt for one of the best burgers or sandwiches in OKC, this place absolutely deserves a spot on your list. Even though we've visited several times, this was our first time trying the fried pickles. Crispy, golden, and with just the right kick of heat -- easily some of the better ones I've had around town. We decided to split "The Holy Cow," and wow... what a sandwich. It's basically Oklahoma comfort food done right: a hand-breaded, tenderized chicken fried steak served on a buttery grilled brioche bun, piled with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and mayo. Messy in the best possible way. It comes with hand-cut fries, which were fresh and perfectly cooked. We skipped the seasoning and salted them ourselves (personal preference), and they were spot on. One heads up -- some menu items have limited availability, so if you're craving something specific, don't wait too long. Bottom line: great food, generous portions, and that classic local joint vibe that keeps you coming back. We'll definitely be back again soon. Comfort food done right.
