This was such a great spot in OKC that we'll definitely be visiting again! The restaurant is clean, vibrant, and filled with friendly and helpful service! They have a variety of burgers and are very open to customizing orders, like switching out to their bright pink sauce (only pink because of beets but tastes like yummy garlic aioli). I went into the restaurant with no expectations. My husband and I took our dog so I ordered while he was outside. By the time I walked outside, the staff had already offered our dog water. The burgers were fun and tasty. I got the one with the pineapple, Shaka, it was quite enjoyable. I love a local spot in OKC. Spark has now 3 locations (I think) in the city. So happy they have a place in Nichols Hills, near Trader Joes and some shopping spots. Parking is great! I feel like I never wanted to go to Scissortail Park because of parking, so am thrilled this one is closer and has plenty of parking. Service was FAST. Employees were super kind and accommodating. I ordered my regular and was upset with myself for not trying their limited time, smashburger. My sister in law got it and it was FIRE. It's definitely kid friendly... I come here with my nieces because they have the queso and dipping fries in it. I have to say.. the queso is damn good! Music is good and pricing is reasonable! This was my first time in, but it definitely won't be my last. The restaurant is large and clean, which I love. There is also outdoor seating if you prefer, with a small little play area for kids. The food was delicious. The burger taste fresh, like a homemade burger. The fries, my daughter and I shared, but they could have been a meal on their own. I was surprised how quickly our food was ready. It wasn't super busy at the time, but our food came out about 7 minutes after we ordered. This is not a cheap restaurant, FYI. How could the Spark in Nichols Hills have zero reviews? Proud to be the first! They have amazing burgers and desserts here, and the burger bowl I got was incredible as well as healthy! I also got a custard that was the flavor of the month (pistachio-almond I believe). The interior ambience is super-spacious with many tables, and they even have a park area outside. Service also was prompt and the servers bring out the food to you! Nice selection of beverages as well. Also ran into upcoming Federal Bar Association President and OCU Law Alum Emma Payne! We checked out Spark hamburgers on 63rd Street this evening. A good solid burger very reminiscent of Five guys, or Smash burger. It comes with Spark sauce (ketchup, mayo,mustard). We opted for the sauce on the side. The Krinkel cut fries were standard, nothing special. The burgers themselves were very workman like hitting all the right notes. Be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. Two burgers, a small fries, and two drinks was over $20. Overall a tasty meal. Will we visit again, not soon. Spark at Nichols Hills is one of our favorite places to eat. It's so clean and the staff is always attentive and friendly. The decor is fresh and bright. My favorite thing to eat is the Spark Burger. I love the fresh potato rolls and the patty is always delicious. I can't eat that without a side of their pink crispy crinkle fries! I don't know what is in that pink sauce but it's yummy. I went here with a friend on a warmer than usual Monday in December. It was our first time eating at any of the locations. We are on a mission to eat and rate every burger in the OKC metro. This one climbed to the top of our list with its outstanding burgers, quick service, and well-lighted dining area. I'll start with the most important part: the burgers. I ordered the Spark burger because I wanted to taste the patty without any extras. As some other reviewers have noted in other places, this patty stands out for being served hot and well-seasoned. The burger stands out for having leaf lettuce instead of shredded lettuce. For me, this is the condiment that separates fast-food burgers from quick-service burgers. It also stands out for having the following stack order from the bottom up: bun, pickles, patty, tomatoes, lettuce, bun. Putting the pickles on the bottom, beneath the patty, is uncommon. I'm not sure if it makes much of a difference. The main thing to note about these pickles is that they are delicious and there were enough of them to add the right amount of sour counterpoint to the beefy umami in the burger patty. Other reviewers have also noted the use of potato buns. I like potato buns because they add a flavor of their own to the whole burger experience -- much the same as with the wheat bun at The Garage. The cook staff also toasted the bun well. As with many quick-service places, we ordered upon arrival. Then we chose a table, and a server brought our food to the table after it was ready. We chose a spot near the windows and enjoyed having the sun shine on us while we ate. The dining room vibe is similar to Tucker's a short distance away in Classen Curve except that you swap out the pictures of people of all types enjoying burgers with swatches of bright color from the Spark logo. I definitely need to come back and try some burgers from the rest of the menu. It's nice to know that I can also find them at Scissortail Park and in Chisholm Creek. read more
