Ended up here after work. Honestly didn't plan it, just needed somewhere to decompress. It's right next to Harvey Bakery, which is probably why I'd walked past it before without noticing. Small place, dim lighting, jazz in the background. Nothing forced about it, just a good vibe. I got a vermút and the goat cheese sandwich with fig jam. The sandwich is on the smaller side, but it hit the spot as a snack. The bread was noticeably fresh, which made a difference. My drink came out fast; the food took a little longer, but the kitchen looked tiny so that made sense. What caught my eye on the menu was the conservas section. You don't really see that around OKC, at least not at places like this. I didn't try any this time since I was already eating, but I want to go back for that specifically. read more

Great Spanish inspired spot in OKC. It's small and easy to miss if you don't know about it. They don't take reservations but you can call 30 minutes ahead to put your name down. We came on a Thursday during Aperitivo hour 3-5 and got seated at the bar immediately. It was the perfect amount of people in there. Not too loud. They have some good happy hour specials. Place to go for sandwiches! You would not think this cute little speakeasy would be a go to for sandwiches, but they are! They offer Spanish-style sandwiches, which just means really great quality bread and ingredients. I hade the Goat Cheese that came with goat cheese, fig jam, arugula, and white balsamic. I do not care for balsamic, but it meshed well with the other flavors and is a must if you love goat cheese. Others had the New York pastrami and the Parisian, which was just rosemary ham and butter. Dropped by before an appointment for a refreshing cocktail. Loved my experience. Chill vibe. Great assortment of options for drinks. I ordered a spritz and it was perfect for today's crazy March Oklahoma heat. I barely missed happy hour - it's 3-5p but will come back! I didn't any of the food. There's plenty of bar seating and four tables, smaller establishment but quaint. Taryn and McKenzie were serving at the bar and were very friendly! I'll be back. Go try it out. Me and group of 10 people total stopped for drinks yesterday at later bye occupying two tables. We had a few people come and go and once we were at 7 people in the group they asked us to consolidate to one table, we told them we still had people joining and they told us they could not hold the other table. Had they not asked us to consolidate in the first place we would have easily occupied both spaces. We had people visiting from out of town and it was just really poor experience. I understand the bar is small to begin with which is why we had gotten there early and paid on one check to make the bill easy. read more

New cocktail bar in the same building as Harvey's Kitchen. We love Palo Santo and so we were excited that they opened a 2nd bar. The menu features creative cocktails along with Spanish-style tapas. The space is limited but with its dim lighting and intimate vibe, this is a great place to start or end a night.    Since we came here after dinner, we only ordered drinks. I have to say the drinks that we ordered were crafted with care and so unique in taste. But the prices are still reasonable. Will probably update my review after we try the food. read more

They have ~50 seats, and for a reason. Thursday evening was a great time! It's intimate, personal and purposeful. The ambiance is elevated and comfortable - I personally had 4 servers help me during my short visit... wow. The food and drinks were served quickly. The food was fresh, different and overall... excellent. It's special when you can make a ham sandwich where the bread is perfectly crispy but doesn't cut your mouth, and that's warm without being greasy, with the flavor to match! Compliments to the timing of the preparation! Make sure to match bite to bite the parisien sandwich to the side of piparra peppers that comes with it! There are few businesses in OKC that I believe would hold their own by a first-tier city's standards. Later Bye is one of them. The owners and bartenders truly know what they're doing.The interior design is on point. Wood paneling and red walls make it feel warm yet modern. The food menu is thoughtful, hitting the full spectrum of salt snacks you want while sipping and yapping. Every item I've tried has been incredibly well executed AND well priced. Popped in here for a light dinner and cocktail and Wow! The food was amazing! Started with the deviled eggs - is it possible to be blown away by such a simple, traditional dish? Yes!! I could have eaten a dozen of them! Next the Burrata Bocadillo - again, yum! The flavors were surprisingly complex for such a simple sandwich and the Zucchini Noodles were a lovely side to complement the sandwich. They were cool, crisp and refreshing - like spring on your plate. Cannot wait to go back and try more! This will be added as a regular stop. read more
