Grilled chicken sandwich
Ari P.

Do not let the outside of this little place scare you! The inside is nothing special, however I could definitely tell it was a sense of home to some. We're in town for my wife's training and saw the reviews and I was curious to try this hidden gem out. The grilled chicken sandwich was so good! I got a side of ranch and buffalo sauce to dip in and for my side had a salad. My wife got the same thing but got tater tot's for her side and she loved them. The chicken was perfectly cooked, so juicy and seasoned well. I had to take my meal for leftovers and chicken sandwich was still juicy the next day! The service was amazing we had one waitress take care of us however all the waitresses helped each other making sure all customers were satisfied. They were all humble, sweet and were even joking around. Definitely will be saving this place and be coming back when we are in town!

Cheesy minced

For some reason I tend to forget about this place. I'm not sure why though. The food is always great! I always order the same thing. I like what I like I guess lol. Very friendly staff and never a long wait for my food. My eggs are always cooked perfectly. Over easy eggs are cooked different from place to place. Will be back next week

They don't got Budweiser, but the sweet tea is badass.

One of my favorite go to spots for lunch in OKC. And one of my favorite redheads in all the world works here. Food is always great the cook must be a master chef or something because I've eaten at high dollar restaurants that were not as good as this. They got this chicken fried steak that's massive, and the lunch specials are usually amazing. Gets pretty full around lunch time and the place is small. But the sweet tea is badass!

We came here because a restaurant down the street that we wanted to go to was closed. This diner was nice. They were playing come classic country music which I really liked. The service was a little slow being that they're were only a few tables filled, but it wasn't too bad. The fries and my burger were pretty over salted, but still edible and fairly tasty. Overall, the food was decent and our server was nice. I still wish the other place would have been open, but we have no regrets about trying this place.

Strawberry waffle, topping severed very hot and canned strawberry. Very very poor

Salisbury Steak special on Thursday's! It is SOO good!

This could have been handled so differently each time. We have been there twice since and this is what has happened. 1 time we walked in without reservation there were just 2 of us and several seats available including bar top. We were told we could not eat because we did not have reservations. We asked if we could possibly take a bar top or outside the waitress said no. This time we had a reservation and arrived 30 mins early when we got there we gave them our name and the waitress said it would be 45 mins. We asked if we could possibly get seated early since we were there (9:30 am) without looking at the schedule or the room she replied "No 45 mins". We turned and left. We had not been gone 10 mins and got a text saying our table was ready. I canceled the reservation. We ate at one of the hotels downtown and it was lovely. I did book this reservation a day early. Will not be booking again. Very disappointed.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. My friends chose the Press Cobb and Breakfast Bomb. They were both very pleased and stated there was many options on the menu they would be interested in trying.

This place is awesome!!…read more Came in about 930 on a Friday morning & it was PACKED!! We grabbed 2 seats at the bar and were quickly greeted and given menus, place settings & ice water by one of the bartenders After about 5 minutes our order was taken - I didn't see the gluten free pancakes on the menu so I wasn't hopeful but when I asked the employee said that they do in fact have gluten free pancakes! I ordered pancakes 3 ways - creme brûlée, blueberry with lemon & a pig in a blanket along with 2 scrambled eggs & the candied bacon Hubs got the breakfast tacos, side of bacon and an Irish coffee Candied bacon came out with the Irish coffee quick - both were so good! I'm not a pepper fan so when I saw it on the candied bacon I was nervous, but it didn't overpower the flavor at all Next came the tacos & my smazing plate of gluten free PANCAKES!!!! The tacos looked good, but in all honesty I didn't ask if it was good because I was SO focused on my plate :) The pig in a blanket was my fave - the bourbon syrup was so good, there was a little spice to the sausage which was a nice balance The blueberry lemon was great - light, flavorful and just yummy The creme brulee which I was anticipating the most - was good, but wasn't my fave - maybe I was too full by the time I got to it but it wasn't as nummy as I'd hoped I'll be coming back next time I'm in town

All for only $6 I ordered a cup of coffee which was $3.50. Son ordered a Holly Bowl, that looked tasty for $10 & a GF Biscuit for $4 with fresh raspberry jam. These were in the Truck Stop plate and the Cannonball biscuit sandwich that we got. Absolutely loved them! We also ordered the Benny Mix and Match with the Pork Chile and the Which Came First, both of which were so flavorful and rich as well. As dessert, we tried the Strawberries and Cream biscuit, which I wasn't sure about at first but was so sweet and delicious! The biscuit itself has a light sweetness, and they're generous with the strawberries and whipped cream which makes the perfect bite. Overall, I loved HunnyBunny and I'll definitely be back!

That price isn't even including a tip. This place has always been pricier than the rest, but a couple years ago they used to give your to-go coffees in a mason jar so it was justified. Now the mason jars are gone, the cups are barely bigger than a claw clip, and somehow they're charging even more. This was my fourth time here and I wanted to give them another shot, but it'll have to be my last try. You can get much better coffee at a much more fair price at other places in the city. The only strength Elemental has is that it has a bit longer food menu than other cafes, but if you're paying more than $20 for a tiny coffee and a mediocre snack then you are wasting your time and money. Also, I don't expect you to yell a welcome or fall on your knees to greet me when I walk in, but the service here is miserable and always has been. The barista asked me how I was doing, to which I said good thank you, then just stared at me for a good few seconds. I guess that means go ahead and order here. A simple "what would you like today" would suffice. Most places you get used to waiting a second while the barista prepares the system, so if that's not the case, just say something. Then they hand you your to-go drink without a lid, because the $9.50 you spent doesn't cover that level of labor and you need to do it yourself. I love to support our local coffee shops here in OKC, but you'll never find me recommending Elemental. Which is a shame, because the mason jars in my cabinet at home are a good reminder of when they served unique and fairly priced coffee. I am so thoroughly disappointed that I made an account just to say this. At least the espresso is okay.
