A quick read of a few sites said that aside from barbecue Asian food was a stand out in the area. So I looked for a good Chinese place and saw one with braised pork belly which caught my attention. I heard that with a hot and sour soup, which is one of my favorite soups when it's done right. Today it wasn't done right. It was just really bland. I normally like it spice here and to be honest it just didn't have a lot of flavor all around. I ordered some cream cheese wontons because, why not? They were OK. They were fried well and despite being delivered, were still crispy And the cream cheese inside of it was good, it would've just been nice to have a little bit more filling. I was really looking forward to the braised pork belly. The portion was ample and the sauce had a nice aroma to it. The pork itself was rather bland also. The preserved vegetables that came along with it had a nice Taste to them, but it didn't add much to the dish overall. All in all, the meal was so so.
