Food is usually good. Service has gotten better. Sort of. Went in last night at 8:20pm for dinner with our family of four. Part of the fun of Cava is the drink selection. They were out of sweet tea so I asked if they could make some. Mind you, it's 8:20pm and they don't close until 10pm. They told me it would be 20 minutes to make more tea and they would rather give me a refund on my drink purchase. Manager was right there and agreed. WHAT? As a business owner I would love for the owner of this location or the franchise owner as a whole just to know - your managers would rather give customers refunds than make more of something that should have never run out in the first place if managed properly! read more

Update: Treated like total trash when my order didn't go through today. My app said to contact the store and the guy told me that he was "having to ignore customers to talk to me". I was at the store but stuck in my car with sleeping kids. I just wanted to know if I could order over the phone and go in and pay since my online order glitched after it was submitted and I had already gotten the kids in the car and driven 20 minutes to get there. Each time I come here, even if there is a line, the staff is welcoming and quick to take my order. Love the open space and natural lighting. It would even be a great place for lunch and a study sesh. I always get the kids meal because I think it's the best bang for your buck. read more

This is my new obsession. It's like a bougie Mediterranean Subway. Not sure if that will come across as a compliment, but I sincerely mean it as such. So far I've tried the spicy avocado pita w/ harissa chicken and the spicy lamb meatball pita. Both were delicious. Somehow this place manages to balance modern fresh fun Mediterranean with traditional flavors in a way that's affordable. Most of these kind of hybrid modern/traditional places are very pricey. And although it's pricey for a "fast food" place, it's cheap for Mediterranean fusion. I thought the sauces would taste watered down, since clearly this is a place meant to appeal to a more casual crowd, but the flavor profiles teleported me to much more traditional hole-in-the-wall type places. The food is very good. The pickled onions and cucumber add a delicious contrast to the marinated and spicy meats. This is nice store with a spacious floorplan. Unfortunately, there were no clean tables, the trash was ready to overflow and the bathrooms were a mess. The bathrooms were stocked with paper towels, toilet paper and soap, which indicates we most likely could have arrived at the tail end of their rush. Cava may be understaffed or there might be some training required in those regards. Hard to tell. The dirty beverage signs and someehat sticky beverage area were disappointing. I have been to Cava before but had not returned in at least a year. After leaving, I feel as though I have been missing out. I ordered the Harissa Avocado with no dressing. The ingredients were so fresh and I had plenty to have for lunch the following day. I will definitely be enjoying again soon. The service is quick since they build the bowls right in front of you. I wouldn't recommend getting to go orders. They hardly put any of the protein or vegetables I ordered in the bowls. It's pretty much just a $12 bowl of rice. I had never been to a Cava...I needed help navigating the menu. After waiting several minutes someone came out of the back and I told them I had never been. The person had piercing all over their face, including metal fangs! I am 70...this is an unappealing look. But aside from that they were rude to me the customer! We were the only ones in line yet they tried to hurry us as if there were 15 people behind us! To call the food marginal is an overstatement! Pretty disappointed with Cava today. My office orders from here all the time and it's always been great. I ordered a salad today online so it would be ready when I got there. Came inside and had to wait at least 5 minutes before and employee would even look at me. When you're a nurse and only have 30 minutes to get food, eat it, and get back to work that is a long time. I didn't get all my toppings I ordered on my salad and the bowl wasn't even half way full. What I ate tasted good, would have been nice to have a full bowl which is advertised, along with the other delicious toppings. read more

My son brought me here. My first impression is that this is like a Mediterranean Chipotle except it's much better. Higher quality ingredients and more variety. Service was good as well. They put care into preparing your food. We both got the spicy chicken pita w/ avocado. Was tasty. I'll try their bowls next time. One small thing - I don't drink soda, so at restaurants I end up getting water which to me usually doesn't taste particularly good. We've been fortunate enough to dine at CAVA twice now. Both experiences were great. The food feels fresh and healthy and is absolutely delicious. This is sorta like a Mediterranean Salad (or pita) version of Chipotle where you walk up, choose a salad base and meat style and can customize it along the line. Our favorite is the Harrissa Avocado bowl and I love the red pepper hummus. Service was fine, if just a tad slow on our second occasion, but I chalked it up to a new employee possibly. There are a variety of caned/bottled beverages to choose from as you wait in line, like Spindrift sparkling tea! They also offer fountain drinks around the corner. Not just soda but lemonade, iced jasmine tea, cucumber mint (was not my favorite), a blueberry lavender drink and a pineapple mint which I haven't tried yet. As far as the atmosphere, it's a little noisy and cold, basically what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant.. tables and chairs in a fairly open space. There is outdoor seating if you like, but you are out near a busy street and parkinglot, but it can still be pleasant. Over all, we'll be dining at CAVA again. read more
