Ok, will give honest review from a older person. Outside looks not the greatest. We actually though it had closed down since you can't see in. The door not really marked so you just have the Hugh name on top of building. We had turned to go back to car when husband happened to try a door. Walking in your seeing every older person in town! Lol and I'm one of them. Tables are ok but sticky floor for sure. Our waitress was one of the middle age. Pretty but not so friendly. Maybe because we had grandson with us, not sure. Food was pretty good. I had the biscuits with everything on top. Lots of cheese. Others had the normal breakfast items and were good. Place is definitely a old time atmosphere. We ate there for lunch yesterday and the wait staff was super kind. The ladies I dined with suggested the burgers but I was feeling soup and salad would suffice. I was very please with the portions for 9.99. The server kept filling out drinks and was swift to bring out to-go boxes and to-go cups full of drinks. This place is a classic hometown diner. We went and sat In a classic oversized booth. The menu was littered with all sorts of delicious options. I went with the French toast that was covered in strawberries and bananas. French toast is my go-to breakfast entree. This French toast was great. My only potential drawback was the strawberries were a little overpowering but can you really even say that's a drawback?? Exactly. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The reviews weren't terrible and the pictures of the food looked yummy so we decided to give it a try. My first impression upon entering the place was that it was crazy smoky. Not from cigarettes mind you, but from whatever had been recently burned in the kitchen oven. It made my eyes water it was so bad. Service was not wonderful, and the tables were sticky. The meals were enormous, and the food wasn't bad, but the flies were. Prices were okay, which would explain the elderly set frequenting the place. Even though the food was decent, we'd skip this one moving forward as everything else about the place just screamed health code violations out the ying yang. read more

The good: Greasy spoon. The omelet was great, hash browns crunchy and the waffle was hot and covered in strawberries. The waitress came around with coffee ask the time. Really large booths and plenty of seating. Great air conditioning. The bad: There was a rotten animal outside and it was really unappetizing. I requested someone remove it. The owner is now arguing with my wife on our Facebook review insisting that we were rude to her staff and that is why she got in her face. But she has mistaken us for some other couple. My wife will not respond to her because she said there is no point arguing with crazy. But for the record, the FACTS are that we were wrongfully confused with another couple (apparently) and confronted and it was just a bad experience due to being confronted by the owner. Went to breakfast here with wife, son and daughter-in-law on a Friday morning. It wasn't super busy on a weekday at 10 am, but there were several customers sitting when we came in. 3 of 4 of us order the Pancake special (pancake, 2 eggs, bacon or sausage) and my wife had the single biscuit and gravy with egg. We all loved everything, although one pancake was under cooked slightly. I had asked for sugar free at time of order and never got it, outside of that, everything was great. The staff was very attentive on the coffee's and waters, asked multiple times if we were enjoying the food which we were. We also picked up 3 pies for a wedding and those were gone in less than 3 minutes at the wedding. They were amazing. I usually opt for an egg white omelette of some sort. (You know us old bald white dudes and our whiny cries for good protein minus all that nasty cholesterol.) Friendly, helpful staff. P.S.: Don't go in expecting culinary wonders -- this ain't breakfast at Tiffany's, let alone Peter Luger. Nah, this is the kind of nice, basic American diner that Alice, Mel, and Tommy would be right at home in. I love diner food and Olde Orchard is always good! I don't get out of the house very often anymore so I wish I could order from door dash or any delivery place. I am in OKC and with Old orchard in Yukon now it's harder to get there. Please open another restaurant soon! Northwest side of OKC please or offer delivery. I had the French dip sandwich. The meat was dry and had an iridescent color to it so it was a little off putting. The au jus was lacking flavor. I heard this place has great breakfast though.
