    French toast

Best French toast I ever had! The weight was a little long, but the service was great! It was worth the weight. Highly recommend.

This reminds me of my mother's cooking, such a comfort. I had beef stew w cornbread. Love this Yukon breakfast/lunch spot. Great service old school atmosphere.

This place is a classic hometown diner. We went and sat In a classic oversized booth. The menu was littered with all sorts of delicious options. I went with the French toast that was covered in strawberries and bananas. French toast is my go-to breakfast entree. This French toast was great. My only potential drawback was the strawberries were a little overpowering but can you really even say that's a drawback?? Exactly. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. It felt like we had stepped out of the busy hustle and bustle of the OKC area and landed in the panhandle town of only a few thousand.

Had an amazing breakfast. Go there every time we visit friends in Yukon. Service is very good. Friendly staff.

Great spot for any meal. A real "down home" cafe/restaurant. Quite crowded at the peak hours.

I guess I beat the crowd since it wasn't terribly busy , but there were several tables with families. When I left though , the parking lot and the restaurant was full then. Good timing for me. My waitress was Olivia and she was very attentive and informative since I told her it was my first time. She answered questions and brought me a refill before I had to ask for one and gave me a sweet tea to go when I paid the bill. Now for the food. I had the Chicken Fried Steak on top of Texas Toast , Mashed Potatoes , White Gravy on both , Green Beans , Sweet Tea , and the Complimentary Croissant with Butter. The Chicken Fried Steak came out perfect , not too thick not too thin , good breading , hot , and the gravy was pretty good. It was on a piece of Texas Toast which I'm not used too , but it was fine. Mashed Potatoes were thick , not too creamy , and good. The gravy went well with both and I did add some pepper since I like mine more peppery . Green Beans , well they threw me off. I was trying to find out what the strange flavor was in them and I had to ask Olivia. She told me it was Sugar , what ? I knew I was tasting sweet and thought it was Honey which would also be kind of weird in Green Beans. I saw little pieces of Onions and she told me they use Bacon and Sugar and I think Butter. When I make Green Beans I use Garlic Salt and Butter and sometimes Bacon , but not Sugar. Complimentary Croissant was just okay , but I would've preferred a Yeast Roll with Cinnamon Butter. Sweet Tea was just right also. I'm originally from South Carolina and sometimes back home it's really sweet , but as I've gotten older I like it a little toned down , but not under sweet. I talked to Olivia about the Baby Back Ribs and will be back to give those a try and maybe bring my Son and his Wife with me. The restaurant was clean and organized and the staff was friendly. I also got a Veteran Discount which I appreciate. I would recommend to anyone if they've never tried a Cheddar's.

Asked for medium for the burger and it was at most medium rare. Fries were like warm by the time they got to the table. Restaurant was clean and neat but we were seated near one of the kitchen entrances so got to listen to the employees yell "corner" every 30-60 seconds. For the price it's not worth returning.

We ordered appetizer the onion pedals, they were excellent! Dipping sauce very good. Then we waited and waited. Tables filled around us and noticed they were being served. About that time the manager came and said our ticket didn't get turned in. So we then waited more. THANK GOODNESS we ordered appetizer, we were starving. Manager did take the cost of appetizer off our ticket. I try to be patient at restaurants but tonight was a little much. Waiter even forgot my extra dressing and we had asked for water refills. Sweet guy so hope he gets it together.
