I'm usually a huge fan of Longhorn Steakhouse and frequented one close to my house when I lived in Oklahoma, but this one came up short. I went with a group for my girlfriend's birthday, and all three of our steaks were overcooked. Service was pretty slow, and my drink was sat empty for a while. The ambiance was nice and the same as every other location I've visited. I really hoped the closest one to me here in California would be great like back home, but it's not. I'll try them again in the future to see if maybe it was just a bad night though. read more

I am a long time lover of Longhorn but this Yukon location truly strained that. I truly fault the manager Candice, if that was even her. Her interactions and demeanor have truly turned me off from this franchise. I understand my wife placed a late order but if you are going to send men not of employment to warn of customers this is unacceptable. I had to explain I was picking up a prepaid order at 9:59pm that was placed at 9:45pm. I was informed it would take 15 minutes and was treated harshly by the manager and unknown party. read more

These place has terrible reviews, but my visit was pleasant. I sat at the bar on a Saturday night and sipped on a few top shelf margaritas, since this location was walking distance from my hotel. The margarita were made with a nice little kick to them which is how they should be. I dined here a few years ago and had what I considered the "Perfect " dining experience from start to finish. It started out with a young woman as our waitress, who was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. I told her I was considering the filet, but my teeth had gotten so bad, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to chew it. She told me that wouldn't be an issue, because their filets were so tender, you could cut them with a fork and she was right. It was perfect! I'd never had a better steak. The whole meal was like that. So when I came back yesterday for a very rare splurge, I was expecting another perfect meal, but it was not to be. For starters, our waiter knew "nothing". I asked him if they had any Mexican beers and he just started looking around, like the answer was going to magically appear in the air. Then, he looked at me, a little bewildered, and asked, "Dos Equis?" I said, "Yes" and ordered one. Then, just as a test, I asked him if my steak would be more tender cooked medium rare or medium and after looking around again for a few seconds, he assured me that there was no difference. We started out with the Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip, which was good, but the pita chips to dip it with were hard and tasteless. For my meal, I ordered the 9 oz Flo's filet medium rare, with a 4 oz lobster tail, with steamed asparagus and a Caesar salad. The lobster tail, asparagus and Caesar salad were all good, although I was surprised that I was charged extra for the side of asparagus to go with my $40 entree. As far as the steak goes, not only did it come out pretty much medium, instead of medium rare, but it was pretty tasteless and definitely could not be cut with a fork this time around, in fact it even took a little effort cutting it with a steak knife. The only thing that saved it were the mushrooms that I ordered with it, but instead of being covered in mushrooms like last time, there were about 5 or 6 spread out on top of the steak, so I had to cut them up and spread them out to make them last. All in all, definitely NOT what I would consider a $30 steak. At 9 oz, that puts it over $3 an ounce. I usually just order a scotch and soda for my after dinner drink, but I let their online advertising talk me into trying "The Longhorn Old Fashioned", which is supposed to consist of their signature 9 yr bourbon by Knob Creek, a hint of orange zest and a touch of bitters and sweetness, creating a balanced drink. Sounded refreshing. What I got was a small glass of what appeared to be some sort of dark, thick, red liqueur, that I seriously doubt had any bourbon in it at all. My sister and I both thought it tasted like cough syrup. Definitely undrinkable! I didn't even send it back. I was so frustrated by then, I just wanted to cash out and leave, which we did and I assure you we won't be back. I learned my lesson. Unfortunately, it cost me almost $70 and that was just for me. My sister paid for her meal and picked up the appetizer. read more

Went for dinner tonight, I've been to quite a few Longhorn steakhouse's and the service was great. Bree the bartender/server was extremely accommodating as I ordered a bunch of vegetarian sides for dinner and also had a couple beers, the bread is always one of my favorites and love it with the mixed greens salad with blue cheese dressing. For a chain restaurant, this is one of my favorites. The food is always good, and the service I have never had issues with, it can be slow sometimes when they're busy, but they are always super accommodating the other night I had the salmon dinner with rice, pilaf and steamed broccoli again the service was excellent. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Stopped in since we were craving a steak. We didn't want to drive to the city and so glad we did. The food was fantastic, our steak was cooked to perfection (MR), appetizer was delicious, drinks were great, and the server was great. The ambiance is so nice and enjoyable. I would suggest and female that gets easily chilly to bring a sweater or sweatshirt. Temperature is fine for the guys but I am always cold so if you are these type bring one. I've eaten at this franchise in several states and they are consistently good. One of my favorite steakhouses. I had the Renegade sirloin that was cooked exactly as requested. I happen to enjoy a bit of a kick on the seasoning so I asked them to blacken the steak. The waitress told me about their 7 pepper seasoning and I was in. The steak was flavorful and juicy as you might expect with it cooked medium. The seasoning was good, however, I would have preferred a bit more cayenne pepper. The restaurant had a 15 minute wait when we got there but it ended up only being about 10. It's clean and average noise level for the size of the place. The wait staff was masked up and most customers were until they got food so they are covid conscious. Overall a good experience and I'll be back. read more

I'm the same Katie W. from 10 months ago. Gave them another shot 10 months later. Like last time, I ordered a 6-ounce filet medium rare. The first "filet" they brought me was butterflied (thinner than their hamburgers are) and couldn't have weighed more than 3.8 ounces. The second one they brought out was equally as tiny. Went home to weigh it myself before I complained, it was 4.5 ounces (25% less than what I paid for). Called management to let them know and I was told "our filets come pre-cut" and that "the last supply box we received was severely lacking in quality". Instead of demanding better quality from their supplier (or offsetting the quality by serving people two steaks), they are KNOWINGLY pushing a subpar product out to customers and making us pay the price of an issue that they are fully aware of. Longhorn steak house in Yukon is not one of our usual haunts but a friend of ours took us there last night for dinner. What a nice surprise. A round of tender fillet's for everyone with one lone dessenter that wanted the chicken fried steak. We've eaten at, Mahogany, Red Prime, The Ranch, Cattelman's, and many other restaurants that specialize in steak, but they would be hard pressed to meet the amazing standards set by Longhorn last night. Superbly tender steaks, cooked to perfection. Mouth watering sides that had us wanting more. We almost filled up on the hot loafs of bread and whipped butter. Even the chicken fried steak received high marks. We look forward to testing out a Longhorn near where we live in the near future. read more

We went to have a steak dinner for my husband birthday 8-20-24. It was the worst meal we have ever had! He ordered a ribeye medium and it came out chard black and well done also the baked potato was hard from not being cooked all the way! My son had the chicken fried steak and it tasted old! I really like the salad, the filet mignon, mashed potatoes, baked potato, old fashioned drink. Hubby likes the ribs and the shrimp appetizer. We really haven't had anything we didn't like from here except the Brussels but we don't like Brussel sprouts generally anyway. We tried them because the guy next to us raved about them so we thought "why not, maybe we will like them here" but nope. Sometimes they are out of items it seems often. I honestly can not remember if I have been to a LongHorn Steakhouse location before, but this new one is pretty good. It is obviously not fine dining, but for a chain steakhouse I was impressed. I had the salmon and my mother had the NY Strip. Both were perfectly cooked. The Mexican street corn was a fun addition. The only setback was the pathetic side salads, but the server made up for that misstep and got them the full 5 stars. We were pressed for time to make our 12:30 movie, and the server and staff went out of there way to accommodate us. Got the order in quick and the food out ASAP. They even put us in a seat where I could see the soccer game. Great early lunch on a Sunday. Thanks! read more
