I love Bbq and have had it in many states and many different regions and styles. I've probably eaten at least 50 different bbq restaurants in my lifetime. My son brought me here for Father's Day since we both had not been here before. We both agree this was the worst bbq we've ever had. Our waitress was nice and checked on us many times. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely like a homestyle bbq restaurant with the wood and decor like a buffalo head , antler chandelier , steer skull with horns , and a picture of a cowboy. So , most bbq places have something that's really good and other things that are just okay. That is expected. The only things we agreed were good was the Hot Link , Salsa for the chips and the Mild Bbq Sauce. Our waitress came by and asked us a couple times how does everything taste. My son being nice said Good , while I was biting my tongue to not sound mean as he was looking at me. I was just going to say , Hmmm it's okay. I really don't like to complain especially to someone so nice to us. To start we had the Smoky Queso with pieces of Brisket. The Salsa was good , but the queso with brisket was a miss. I got the 2 Meat Plate with Pulled Pork and Sliced Brisket , Mashed Potatoes and Gravy , Sweet and Smoky Beans , Sliced Pickles , and Texas Toast. The Brisket had no smoke taste , no seasoning taste , no taste at all just hard to describe being that plain. The Pulled Pork had a little smoke taste to it and wasn't dry. I added the Carolina Gold Bbq Sauce to it to help it out. Well , the Carolina Gold Bbq Sauce tasted like straight up Mustard with hardly a hint of Vinegar. I've had some good mustard sauces , but prefer the Carolina Vinegar and Red Pepper Bbq Sauces. I love bbq baked beans and almost every bbq restaurant I've been to has good or great beans , not these ! They tasted straight up like Van de Camps Pork and Beans with a little Bbq Sauce added to it and no bits of Sausage or Brisket in it. Some places I've been to several times I will get 2 orders of beans because they taste so good. My Mashed Potatoes and Gravy was really plain and I added a lot of pepper to it. Even my Sweet Tea wasn't good , it tasted like metal from sitting in the container for too long and barely sweet and I don't like overly sweet tea. I asked the waitress about the Potato Salad and she said it was just a Mayo Potato Salad and I prefer the Mustard Potato Salad so I didn't get it. My son got the Smoky Chicken Griller which is sliced chicken, bacon, onions, pepper jack, and barbecue ranch, grilled on Texas toast. He got the barbecue ranch on the side and was glad he did since he didn't like it at all and I tried it and it was okay. He rated the sandwich as a 2 and I rated it a 5 and I would've used a little mayo on it instead of the barbecue ranch. He also got a Hot Ling on the side so we could try that. It was peppery and we both thought it was pretty good. We usually like the ones with jalapenos in it. They have 3 Bbq Sauces , Mild , Spicy , and Carolina Gold. I usually prefer a spicy bbq and sometimes if they have a sweet I will mix them together for brisket or baby back ribs. The spicy bbq sauce was not good. The mild was not bad and we preferred it to the other 2. The Carolina Gold as I stated before was like straight mustard with hardly a hint of vinegar or other spices. We spent over $60 with tip and felt cheated with the level of quality of the food here. I know Ribs are their specialty , but I can't imagine them being any good compared to everything we ate and they are St Louis Style , not Baby Back Ribs. I moved here last year and my son and his wife moved here 2 years ago and we have had a very hard time finding a good bbq restaurant in Oklahoma. Great Steaks , Onion Burgers , and Fried Chicken , but marginal bbq so far. I've been an Elite Reviewer for Yelp for 7 years and a regular reviewer for probably 2 years before that and I think I've only given 1 Star to one other restaurant in nearly 10 years. I'm sorry to do it , but we will never come back here and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I only had the Ribs, because that is what you have, if Ribs is in the name. The meat shouldn't fall off the bone when you bite them and these didn't. But they were tender, flavorful and perfectly cooked. I have to go back just to taste the other meats. I also had loaded mashed potatoes and I really liked those also. Let's start this out positive- the fries and okra are fantastic! Unfortunately, they rest was just lacking. We've ordered from them now a couple times on Door Dash, so keep in mind this review is in regards to their takeout. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich. It wasn't bad but the meat, although in abundance, was too fatty for me. The bun wasn't toasted either, which separates a good BBQ sandwich from a great one. The seasoned fries were so flavorful and they included a lot of them! My husband ordered chicken with okra and beans. The meat was dry but the sauce was great! The okra was crunchy and not greasy at all- fantastic! The beans tasted like they had sat out all day and were cold. Came in Friday night June 28 about 7pm, ordered Redneck nachos minus jalapeños as my friend is allergic to them and I don't like the spicy taste. Order came out with jalapenos, told server who took order back to fix, we thought replace. Order came back with 90% of jalapenos just picked off and tried to cover up with more cheese. I was getting my car serviced at the dealership next door and decided to have a late lunch rather than watch bad gameshows in the waiting room. I'm glad I did, Rib Crib has a very comfortable atmosphere and a very welcoming and friendly staff. Much better than nan coffee and cheesy TV game shows at the Ford place. I'm giving 4 stars primarily based on the amazing service. If you look at my past reviews, you will notice that points are earned and lost more often for service than food, and the service was the star of the show today. from the moment I entered to the moment I walked out. The server - Kelsey - even got me to make a donation to the American Diabetes Association, which I thought was a great thing for Rib Crib to be promoting. I was extremely impressed. As for the food. I'm hard to impress on the smoked meat front. My best friend and I have a commercial smoker, and the food he prepares is amazing. That said, I ordered the "Motherload," so I could taste a selection. And I knew better than to order a selection of smoked meats at 2:30 PM. It was mostly dry, with the exception of the pulled pork. It all had good flavor, but the chipped beef was really dry, the chicken had been sitting a bit too long. And oddly, even the hot link was a bit dry. It was still good, but could have been amazing it it were fresh. Also, give folks more than a thimble of cole slaw, your just reason people with that amount. Overall, it was a good experience, I'll be back the next time the car needs serviced. read more

i was an employee at this location over 3-4 years ago. i came in to eat with my friend after YEARS of not coming here out of fear of being mistreated. well. i was seated with Hannah, a person i used to work with. she was extremely rude upfront. she spoke to the tables around us very differently and was so kind to them. she let us sit there, knowing we were ready to order, and decided to take care of other tables around us. even when our menus were at the end of the table, and she made direct eye contact with my friend and i. 0/10, the place sucks just as bad as it did when i left. :) do better. also hannah is still a bitch!! nothings changed i see. read more

I ordered a meal to go at this location. They not only did not have my order done on time but was very unprofessional. So I walk in and Im completly ignored by the waitresses and the staff that was at the front desk. The lady that was suppose to work on to go orders was on her cell phone texting. The watress was flirting with the cook and looking back at me every once in awhile and looking past me as I tried to even wave at the employee to signal I need help. I stood there for at least 20 minutes when a women came in behind me for her to go order. The to go order lady that was on her cell phone had the nerve to ask the lady that jsut walked in if she needed anything before me. They all knew I was there first. I then told her that I had been standing here for 20 minutes, even tried flagging down employees and no one helped but this lady walked in and she immediatly helped her. She said she thought I was already helped. She then hands me my bag and then brings out the other ladies bag but instead open her bag and goes over all the contents with the lady that came in behind me. I will never walk into this restaurant again...I can tell why this restaurant is failing in Yukon. It's their staff, professionalism and integrity as a business in our city. The meats are basically the same as most other places. Nothing special. I didn't like their BBQ sauce too much. The potato salad was weird; not bad but weird, I won't order it again. I didn't like that they put a pickle in the same container as the meat and Texas toast. It made the toast soggy and everything tasted like pickles. The mashed potatoes were good and so were the fries. They are more expensive than the place I usually go. I tried Rib Crib twice and wasn't impressed enough to go back a third time. I discovered RibCrib with my husband about two months ago and it has become our routine to come here on Sundays. The food it's just AMAZING, I love the fries and the sandwiches, we tell everyone we know to come and check it out. Its honestly the best BBQ place I've been in Oklahoma. Warning: long review ahead My first visit to Rib Crib was Father's Day 2019 (6/16). I was not impressed. First let me say that the restaurant was not very busy when we arrived. We may have arrived just after a rush ended. There were four empty tables in our section when we sat down and three of those tables were still empty when we left. There was also an additional table available when the residents left shortly after our arrival. However, it was stacked with dirty dishes the entire stay. We were a large party: six adults and five children (aged 2-12). The older kids sat in a booth next to us while the adults sat with the two high chairs. We all really liked this arrangement. I'll give Rib Crib props for that. When we were ready to place the order, the waitress told us they were out of ribs (on all you can eat ribs weekend). She told us the hostess was supposed to tell customers, but obviously they hadn't and the ribs special was still on the chalkboard upfront. I heard another waitress telling some other customers this later in our visit so the hostesses did not get the memo. My brother-in-law next tried to order from the promotional insert on the table, but it didn't start until the following day so that was another irritation for us. We ordered chips and queso for the kids to snack on, but it took 30 minutes to get to us and we had to flag down two different waitresses. Our food arrived about 45 mins after we placed the order. It was good, but not worth the wait. I did enjoy the long visit with my family though! I understand restaurants running out of promotional items. I can even understand a restaurant running out of an item even if that item is part of the name of the restaurant. I don't understand poor customer service. The same dirty dishes and half eaten food sitting in plain sight for our entire visit, a ridiculous wait for chips and queso, a promotional chalkboard listing an item a restaurant was out of, empty glasses, and a mostly absentee waitress, etc. We were lucky the kids were so well-behaved. My husband and I always love coming here. The service is always good and the food comes out quickly! I always order the club sandwich. It is stacked high with smoked chicken, pulled pork and bacon along with 2 kinds of cheese. You can't go wrong with it! Ordered sliced brisket dinner at Rib Crib the other night. The brisket was tough I could hardley cut it with a knife. It evidentially not been cooked above 165 degrees, the temperature where the connective tissue starts to break down. Should be cooked to 195-205 degrees internally. read more
