Our waitress was very personable and attentive. Our drinks were great and they had a lot of selection. While this bar isn't the newest and it smells like smoke it's great for experience and relaxing. They had great oldies playing and tables of big parties or a single lady in the corner all types of people here. They also had pool tables I noticed. The bar service was great. Gave great suggestions and the prices are very reasonable. Warning...if you can't handle a good heavy pour, this is not the place for you. Bartender was gracious with the pours of my drinks. The food was pretty decent, too. I ended up getting their nachos, and those were so good! I really enjoyed the nacho chips. They were cooked a certain way that made them more flaky, yet crunchy. It's hard to explain, check them out for yourself! I can definitely see myself returning when I come on holidays. This crowd is definitely my vibe, mature folks coming out for a drink and to chill away for the hustle of life! #supportlocal Bianca

1/5 -- Do Not Recommend…read more Unfortunately, this was an absolutely terrible experience at Lumpy's South. We had a group of 16 and actually tried to make a reservation ahead of time as a courtesy so they would know a larger group was coming. We were told they don't take reservations, yet when we arrived they had set up a table for 8 people--for a group of 16. Things only got worse from there. Our waitress did not seem to know the menu, and it took approximately 15 minutes just to get our orders entered. Drinks were extremely slow, we received no drink refills, and there wasn't even enough silverware for our table. We literally had to go hunt down additional silverware ourselves. Then came the food. It took over an hour to receive our meals. What made the whole experience even more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't busy. They simply seemed completely overwhelmed and unprepared to handle our group. We understand that 16 people is a larger party--which is exactly why we tried to give them advance notice. We attempted to make a reservation as a courtesy to the restaurant, and they still weren't remotely prepared. Over an hour for food. No drink refills. Not enough silverware. Slow service. Poor organization. And all of this while the restaurant wasn't busy. Definitely not the experience we expected, and I absolutely do not recommend Lumpy's South. *** And the bathroom photo is not reassuring.
