We were there for a conference we were a party of 5. My husband and I just got the pretzel appetizer with cheese and mustard. It was very good! I can not comment on everyone else's meals but we enjoyed the pretzels! read more

The best meal I had in the Lodge! The place is a sports style restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good. I had a delicious steak and for a pretty decent price taken into consideration I was at the Lodge. My party had sandwiches etc and we were all very satisfied. Matter of fact the steak here was much better than what I ate at the fancy Forebay restaurant at the Lodge where a paid 3 times more. If you are coming to the Hershey Lodge stick to the Bears pub because is the only good and not overpriced restaurant in the Lodge, believe me! read more

Always a must before going to see the Bears game. Service has always been great and you get a bowl of popcorn to start with. Since you are in Hershey, there are plenty of items on the menu (food &drink) with chocolate. The food is your basic pub grub, which is filling and good. Got a handful of Hershey Kisses with our check. read more

The Bears' Den - There is no escape from chocolate. - Sports Bars Near Me - Hershey, Pennsylvania

Awesome, so accommodating to our son's food allergies. Dinner between the wife and I hit the spot, especially with the disco fries.

Great food. Sports on everywhere. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese burger. Cooked perfectly. The free popcorn keeps the kids from getting too hungry. Wait staff was quick, friendly and efficient. They also have an excellent selection of craft beers. read more

Probably a bit better than any of us expected actually. Our burgers were far better than average. My daughters' philly steak was very good. Service was excellent I dare say by any standard. Certainly worth it for a casual bite if you're a guest at the Lodge but probably not worth going out of your way for. read more

This was a typical american faire pub. While it took a while to be sat, our food came out really fast. They're known for specialty burgers and they did not disappoint. I love that the glasses were real glass & the plates were real versus cheap plastic restaurant plates. read more

The set up for the Bears Den is not great hanging at their bar. I guess the very large TVs are there to pacify? Drinks are expensive, not sure why, considering the facility. It's a sports bar that is made to look like a hockey rink. Table service is slow, even on Friday night. Lots of families with children eating on uncomfortable ice rink snack tables and chairs from the 70s. The Bears Den is like eating in a hockey rink, bright, loud and uncomfortable. Limited dinner menu, burgers and the like. Breakfast was $11.50 for eggs and bacon and another $3.50 for coffee, nothing special here. Morning service :( not great. read more

Hmmm... the bears den is definitely a typical restaurant in a hotel. Exactly what I expected cuz they're not that great. There was nothing special about this meal. It wasn't bad, but just ok. Got the spinach and arugula salad and it was pretty drab. For dinner I got the pulled pork sandwich. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with pulled pork and macaroni and cheese in it. Yes. In the grilled cheese. A strange thought but it was ok. It also came with a little cup of tomato soup to dip it in. I got it with the onion ring instead of fries. They were warm ( probably sitting a while) and greasy. They should been hot and drained a little more. They were slightly nauseating after the first few. We also got the fish tacos and they looked sub-par, wasn't crazy about it and the sauce was too spicy. My son got a chicken Caesar salad and seemed happy. Like I said earlier, its a restaurant in a hotel. It's just what I expected. My laziness to leave the hotel made for a so-so dinner. read more

Get here early, they tend to have a wait at dinner. We ordered the disco fries with bacon and by the time our regular food came out we had devoured the entire plate (huge portion). Even my wife who doesnt like brown gravy was largely satisified with the multitude flavors. I ordered the traditional mushroom Swiss burger which was flavorful and a decent chunk of meat. I actually threw my bottom bun away because of the food wall I was approaching quickly. The Cole slaw reminded me of my mom's age old cucumber salad in a mayo based "soup" that was fantastic. My son ordered the meatloaf sandwich, which did not disappoint. It comes with a tomato soup (more like a thick sauce) and you can request grazy instead. I guess it was good because he inhaled it before I had a chance to try. My wife ordered the pulled pork grinder, and her only complaint is the pork was very fatty. The BBQ sauce that was included for dipping was extremely smoky with a back heat that was surprisingly good. You can't get a better bang for your buck if you are staying in Hershey Lodge! read more

Below average food. Would not come back. It's fine for drinks, but food was not well received by my kids or myself. Service was good.

Stopped here after a day at HersheyPark. Good beer. Great wings! The staff took great care of the kids as well as the adults!

Really good wings. Had all the games on tv and a decent draft selection. Giant middle screen with the main game on which was great. Obviously more a family atmosphere being a Hershey product but still great overall. Will definitely return again. read more

HORRIBLE service, loud ,crowded, rude bartenders. Sloooooow service Drinks are a sloppy mess. I saw a bartender pour NOT SHAKE, A cocktail back and forth dripping sweet syrupy liquid all over sides of the drinking glass. Take out soup containers leak......... . I ordered lentil soup to go . I went all the way upstairs in the Hershey lodge before I found out. I left the trade show that i drove 4 hours to attend to get a refund. It took another manager to come for the refund and it took forever The bartenders are half assed. They are the same men year after year. Limes are old and discolored. The men are much too busy to even take to go orders. The girls up front should do that job I waited 27 minutes for soup and sandwich in the first place in a loud sports bar when there was nowhere to sit. Ruined my day. The lame IM SORRY given to me by bears den management was nothing compared to my inconvenience Hershey lodge had really dumbed down. The only reason I went to the bears den is because Hershey grill had a 30 minute wait for take out orders This dive might be ok if you have loud kids who don't have any standards read more

A nice atmosphere for lunch. The food was fine, average, though a bit expensive for average quality. I got the steak salad which, again, was just fine. The wife got their quesadillas which were decent. If we had to go here again, we could, but I don't think we'd go out of our way for it. Applebee's the previous night was cheaper and better. read more

Excellent service, good atmosphere, and great pub food. Best value for your money in Hershey Lodge.

The manager Elezar was absolutely amazing! he was so helpful and i couldn't of asked for a better manager for our stay!

We had a party of 8 that included 5 kids. Our server, Andrew, was so friendly, accommodating, attentive and kind. One of the best servers I have had anywhere! The food was also good and we were All Happy! read more

Great drinks, good food, super friendly staff. Try the cheese steak tater tots, they are exactly what you think and totally worth it. Followed them with the triple truffle chocolate cake, so delicious. read more

Great burgers. Our server was Ashlyn she was bubbly, fun and knowledgeable about the menu. We split the wings appetizer and they did 1/2 honey BBQ for us and the other 1/2 buffalo. Burgers were really good! read more

Restaurant in a hotel with big screen TVs playing current sporting events. Typical bar food with good burgers and milkshakes. Not a huge variety on the menu and not many options that are healthy. Waitstaff was friendly and quick. Lots of kids and families who are staying at the hotel for Hershey Park. read more

Ate at bears den again last night. Ceasar salad with grilled chicken OK. The chicken was burned. Tons of families in the pj's at the bears den. Saw a little boy put his feet up on the table while eatting. Chocolate Martini and Reese's martini did make the night alot better. Prices reasonable. Good family atmosphere, but very full and loud. read more

I was in the conference room for a work award dinner. I wasn't impressed with the food there, I ate about 2 bites. After I left my work event, I stopped here to get something to take back to my room. I went up to the bar to place my to go order. The two young men at the bar were very nice and came right over to take my order. I ordered a burger, med well to well, with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. No onions. I also asked for ketchup. They only offered me chips or coleslaw. I said chips and they told me it would be right out. It came out fast and I headed back to my room. My burger looked like a microwaved burger, it had onions on it and of course they were between the lettuce and tomatoes. I had to throw out everything, but the pickle. I understand it was a to go, but my chips were soggy and I said no onions. I would have rather had fries and should have ordered fries. They gave me about 15 packs of ketchup too. My bill for a burger and chips was $13.75. Not worth what they charged me. read more

I went there for the 1st time the previous weekend and I knew what to expect due to friends going there. I went when a Caps game was on so the wait was longer then I wanted but I wanted to watch the game so I was OK with it. They gave us free popcorn while we waited. I had the Hershey Bears Cheese stake and it was just like in something out of Philly. I also got the tea that was flavored and it was pretty good. The fry's were well cooked. My girl friends was just a good as mine, she got a burger cooked EXACTLY like she wanted. I read some of the negative reviews and I do not get most of them. It's a sports bar, yes there is SPORTS BAR food. Yes its crowded and loud, ITS A SPORTS BAR. Yes you might have to wait..... people come to watch games because... wait for it... its a... SPORTS BAR. I enjoyed my experience there and would go back again. I am a Bears fan from out of state so it's really cool to see some of the old time memorabilia there. read more

now this is a fun place to watch the games, have some good beer and food. The place can get loud b/c of all the TVs which I am fine with. The service was excellent. As an appetizer, I had the tomato and mozz which was remarkably good for this being more of a sports bar. The Portabella burger was outstanding. It was juicy, flavorful and on a great bun. The fries were also very good. I would definitely recommend this to those close by. You won't be disappointed, actually I think you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Reminder to all. This is a Sports Bar. So cheering for a team or game is a requirement. If your looking for a quiet restaurant setting. Go elsewhere. The food service is fast. Beer and drinks are overpriced. I ordered the gluten chicken fingers with a BBQ chocolate dip - it's off the menu. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced. Never before have I had a waitress say that "if you don't hurry up and order, I'll leave." Her complete disregard for us was completely disgusting and she refused to split our checks. She only came to our table when we asked another waitress to take our order after sitting for a half hour. read more

Stopped in during our recent trip to Hershey and found the Bears Den to be a great spot for a burger. The dining room looked like Hershey Arena, and the floor was made to look like a ice hockey rink, very cool theme and plan on coming back on our next trip to Hershey! read more

The food here is so good. There are about 15 tvs playing all the live sports games from baseball to hockey. There is an arcade for the kids too. This place is honestly so fun and a great place to be 5/5 for sure. I would recommend the cheesesteak. read more

Waitress was very attentive and extremely nice. Had a party of 18 and we were all satisfied with our experience. Will definitely check out this place whenever I am in the area. read more

It is fine. The ambience resembles that of a sports bar. They are open fairly late, so that is positive. The burgers are unremarkable. They are skilled at frying food, so anything like mozzarella sticks, fish and chips, or fried chicken are good options. The only exceptional thing on the menu is the pretzel appetizers. They likely had a kind of German influence in the kitchen. Those pretzels and the mustard/cheese that come with it are amazing. I got beer battered cod, and it was fine. The service was average, and that is really all that needs to be said about this place. It is good, and convenient if you're staying in the lodge. read more

Nice sports bar for inside a hotel. Don't expect the greatest service, but if you are looking for a place to watch a sports event, this isn't bad. Huge tv screens all around. read more

This is a sports bar, good for drinks, maybe a snack, but nothing more. It really is more of a hide away from the kids after they've cranked themselves up on chocolate and other sugar filled confections. The food is rather bland, generic and expensive. The service is OK depending on who you get and what time you get there. Overall it is sub par when compared to the other restaurants on and around the property. read more

Always on the lookout for a casual and not to expensive place for a Sunday afternoon we tried the Bears Den recently at the Hershey Lodge. After a fifteen minute wait we were seated. Our server was pleasing enough. I wish I could say the same for the nachos we ordered. There are great nachos which in central PA come from the Iron Horse in Lancaster. Then there are all the places which should go dine at the Iron Horse and see how great nachos are constructed. read more

This is the place I go when I want a chill place to grab a beer with a couple of friends. They have a pretty good beer selection from a variety of microbreweries. I recommend the fresh baked Bavarian hot pretzels as an appetizer. read more
