Came here after our awards dinner for more drinks. The staff didn't seem excited with our large group. Bar could have been a little cleaner.

The theme is great, love hockey, the food came out fast, in like 10 minutes but my burger was cold and so were the fries , telling me it was not cooked fresh , it was also dry with little to no flavor

Pretty decent steak salad and good sized kids meals! Nachos pretty tasty too 25 min wait on a Saturday eve but expected for a Hershey lodge dinner on Labor Day weekend

Overall, solid experience here! I grabbed dinner here by myself on a Sunday night. Loved the convenience of the location (as I was staying at the Lodge). For my solo dinner I ordered the cranberry chicken salad wrap with fries. It was pretty good. Not groundbreaking by any means, but it was exactly as expected. Service was pretty good. Zero complaints. Menu is your very typical American bar food - burgers, salads, sandwiches, and some pasta dishes. Prices, I feel, are a tad steep for what it is, but consider the location.... Everything's more expensive.

We were famished by the time we got here so I didn't take any pics but I have to say, this was a great late night meal! Kids menu was perfect and the dessert menu was **chefs kiss!** even options for my hubby who is not a chocolate eater (I know, crazy!) Our food came super fast, with some mistakes but the waitstaff was very quick to fix it and everyone working there was super sweet! It's very casual inside so come prepared to be noisy and eat! I'd definitely go back for another meal!

I love how convenient it is to take advantage of a variety of dining options at Hershey Lodge. The Bear's Den is cool casual dining with an array of bar food choices. I had the cheesesteak egg rolls as a starter. They were pretty good. They would have been great if there were diced peppers and onions in them. The fish and chips dish that I had as my main entrée was a pleasing selection as well. I demolished the fries a little to fast to not be a little embarrassed and the fish filet was a sizable and substantial portion albeit a little greasy. I would come back for the opportunity to try more dishes. It was about an hour until close when my friend and I arrived and the server was noticeable put upon but she handled it like a trooper.

Ate here twice while attending a conference at Hershey Lodge. Super great place! Giant screen TV right above the bar, would imagine it is great to watch a sporting event that may be going on. Sat at the bar both times I was there since I was solo and both bartenders were fantastic. Food was great. Had the Italian Hoagie on one day and the bacon cheeseburger the second day I went. Both were made/cooked great and for a reasonable price considering it is a restaurant located inside a hotel. I have paid more for similar items at other places inside a hotel and not as good as this.

Kind of shitt%# crap is this?! And they put in rotten cucumber in my cucumber mojito twice n left it completely full, a normal bartender would know he messed up n remix the drink but not here. None of the workers are here to work only to put in the hours. N here's a picture of my steak salad with 3 prices of burnt shit!! Skip the food and go eat at anywhere but here

A visit to the brewery provides fresh pours of the classics as well as a host of specialty brews (e.g., bourbon barrel-aged Mad Elf Grand Cru, which is nothing short of magical). Many of these brews are high-octane. Handily, Troegs also serves food - and it's not the typical compliment of fried bar nibbles. The menu offers a wide and changing variety of dishes of all sizes that are damn near gourmet (e.g., braised short rib, duck confit, crab lasagna). The Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese is an obvious must. And I like the way they do payment. After you sit down, a member of the wait staff will find you, take your name, credit card, and (first) beer order, after which you can just give your name to the bar or snack bar and they will add order(s) to your tab. Also, epic gift shop (that sells beer and all related things).

You give a credit card to your server and that opens the tab. You go to the "snack" counter to order but drinks are brought by a server. Water is self service. After you place your order you get an alarm square (like Panera) and then you pick up your food and silverware and water. Two of us ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich. It came with cole slaw and Bbq sauce and a side of fries. Dining partner really liked the brisket and said it was so tender. I asked for the bbq sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because it was a vinegar base sauce. I didn't like it at all. I found the brisket to be a little too fatty and not well seasoned. The slaw in the sandwich wasn't seasoned either. I was disappointed. Both of us thought the fries were meh. Not hot enough and not crispy. Mine were kind of soggy. Diner 3 got grilled cheese. It was a sandwich in thick bread and came with a side of marinara sauce. She said the sandwich was good. Diner 4 got the Mediterranean plate. Hummus, tabuli, zucchini fritters and tahini. She graciously offered me tastes. The tabuli was really good and the zucchini was prepared like felafel. They were ok. The pita triangles looked good. I didn't try anything else. The other diners all ordered sodas which came with twist off caps in small bottles. They liked the sodas. Overall, the food was ok. There is a gift shop with a variety of merchandise and lots of beer for sale. I asked if the beers and 'cocktails' were available as singles rather than 6 packs. And I was offered a taste. I chose the freaky fruity cherry limeade cocktail. It had too much of the taste of hops for me. The server said it's not made with hops but on the same equipment and although it was tasty, I couldn't get past the taste if hops. Not something I like. The place is nice looking, people were very nice, the menu just didn't work for me.

They took one of the classic homes on Main Street and turned it into a restaurant, with lots of outdoor seating on a patio out front, a bar and high top area in the main room to the right, but quieter dining in the back and upstairs. It's bright and clean, but still keeps that old feel. They have a full menu; this visit I was in with a friend and we both opted for steak dinners, which are served with choice of sides and sauce. Prices are reasonable for the area and quality of the food, but definitely higher than a typical meal out in town. They also have a wonderful beer list, with lots of local choices and fresh kegs. Service was great, we had a friendly server who was attentive all evening. I can definitely see why this place is still around and as popular as ever; if you're looking for something a little more special in the area, this is worth the trip.

The appetizers were well worth the price and were served pretty quickly! I had the Ahi Tuna Nachos and my husband had the Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts. My wife got the same Chicken Salad sandwich again, it's still a winner, seafood chowder was satisfactory to good according to her, she took the balance back to our hotel & she had it in the morning as she had a early morning meeting & we had a microwave, she changed her opinion to great , saying it tasted even better in the morning I guess from it being dehydrated. Pretzel was great, I had a chicken pot pie which I though was ok, it was basically a chicken stew served with a puff pastry in there instead of the stew in a puff pastry, It tasted clean & light lacking body so I ordered a side of lime rice which worked for me. The star of this place is really their custom brews, I thigh think the food here is 4to 4 1/2 star but their brews make it a 5 star restaurant. Their birch beer & bourbon ginger are perfectly balanced flavor & refreshing & I also bought a bottle of their express Old Fashion to take home, 10/10 satisfaction. My companion was initially skeptical when she saw wine on tap but immediately changed her mind when she saw the offerings--good quality and reasonable price point. The beer selection is also good. Not a huge number of beers but well-selected.
