The manager really seemed to put in the effort and attention to meeting customers needs. They had no outdoor seating during our visit due to the rain and the inside seating was extremely limited. The food tasted very good but it just wasn't warm enough. The temp of the food made it seem that it must have been sitting too long before it came to the table. Everyone had shrimp or fish tacos. Mahi was a $2 up charge and honestly, the shrimp was MUCH better! read more

Great location, great food, drinks are ehhh. I ordered the strawberry special and sent that back and exchanged for a pina coloda, that one was even worse. It was watery and wasn't even slushy like a frozen blended drink should be. Only positive of the $8 drink is that you get to keep the plastic souvenir cup to remind you of the awesome drink you just had I will say though that the food is delicious (calamari was ehhh) but mahi was delicious both breaded or blackened! We had a breaded mahi fish sandwich and blackened mahi tacos, both were on point! drinks may be hit or miss in my opinion read more

I really hate writing reviews like this. Especially given covid etc and everyone is really struggling. We arrived to the building at 11:30 in hopes of getting breakfast. Couldn't find parking. Got kicked out of the hotel parking even though there were hundreds of spots available. We finally found parking on the right side of the building. We entered the restaurant and ordered drinks. We were then told breakfast was unavailable. Since we really wanted the Benedict, we left $20 and left to go to another restaurant. We were then chased outside by the waitress who demanded we pay for the coffee. I explained I left an incredibly large tip for 2 coffees. This was completely embarrassing to be chased out of a restaurant and accused of not paying. Disgusting behavior that made me feel like a criminal. We called to make sure that no one swiped the money and the waitress confirmed she "found it". All in all will never go back- terrible experience from start to finish. read more

With the short walk from our condo and the promising views, this was a no brainer for an easy dinner on our first night in town. The corn fritters were amazing and the cheese sticks slightly better than your average. The burgers were good and the view outstanding. If your expecting much more than a casual beach bar, you will be disappointed. While some were dressed up others were still in their swim suit. The service was lacking but other servers seemed to be on top of things so maybe that was just our bad luck. read more

The location is great! Got to watch the surfers due to high waves from Hurricane Larry. Service was excellent too. Our waitress was Ocean. Yes, that was her name. She was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. The fish dip with chips was just ok. The salad was great! The fish tacos were not good at all. Very disappointing. :( The French fries were crispy and hot. Prices were ok. If we go back, we will order way different. Lol. read more

Man can you say whole in the wall? I mean that as a compliment. The place has a big bar. You can sit out back and see the water. The shrimp basket was very good. The shrimp were big and cooked perfect. It's kind of loud. Very friendly wait staff. They close at 9pm and I guess the kitchen closes at like 8:30 pm. Now 1 thing you have to order is the Voodoo hurricane bucket. 32oz of awesome. And you keep the bucket. read more

Best place in Daytona to have Breakfast or Lunch. The outdoor seating is super cute and right next to the beach. Music is fantastic. Had breakfast both days! The food is great, the drinks are great, the service is awful! We came here earlier in the week and had a fair experience. We decided to give them another chance. I wish we hadn't. There were several tables needing to be cleaned and we were told to sit anywhere so we sat at one of the dirty tables on the patio. We waited 8 minutes while several servers just walked by us. Finally someone came and cleaned off the table. Then we waited about 10 minutes before our server ever came. When Lisa came she never gave us menus but took our drink orders. A few minutes later we got our drinks and she asked if we were ready to order. We let her know we never got menus. After getting the menus we didn't her again for about 15 minutes. Waiting and waiting is how the whole meal went. I'm sorry we came back. It does have a great view though. read more

I visited The Beach Bucket twice so far, once for breakfast and once for lunch. The location has a chill vibe. It can get quite busy which can contribute to longer waiting/staff responsiveness. The view this little place has to offer is awesome. You feel the nice breeze off of the ocean and can hear the waves crashing against the sand. To add to this zen relaxation, their bloody Mary's are delicious, garnished with pickles and olives and the rim coated with a delicious concoction of spices. Their sausage gravy with biscuits was pretty tasty and their fresh fruit actually tasted FRESH and not rotten or withered! Overall this is a nice relaxing place to have some food and drinks on the ocean. read more

Bacon was crisp and delicious sausage perfect and also delicious plus the drinks were amazing. Kelly was an amazing server. Couldn't of been happier. So lucky to pick this place. Parking can get confusing since it is behind the hotel besides that everything was great. Food and drinks are decent prices for the location. View of the beach is amazing. Service was great. Due to covid 19 they do not seat anyone indoor (either way passing through the inside it did not look like they had a lot of tables/space if anyone was able to get seated inside). Everyone has to sit outside on the uncovered beach patio deck. Advantage: view for sure. Fresh air. Disadvantage: Rain. Make sure you check the weather before going. read more

This has been a regular stop when I come to FL. Beautiful vistas on the deck, awesome staff, and delicious food, great drinks. I always get the shrimp tacos. Succulent shrimp that burst with flavor with each bite. Cole slaw is soo good. Great prices for the amount of food you get! read more

We were in Daytona for the weekend and decided to stop at this beachside restaurant for brunch today. At first it was sort of hard to find this restaurant because it was sort of hidden behind a hotel I believe but we were able to figure it out. The restaurant was packed during brunch time and they seat first come first serve. The drinks at the bar was inexpensive and tasted great. The servers were very attentive to our table and the food was just as great. I had the breakfast sandwich with chorizo sausage with a Miami Vice. Best breakfast in town. We were visiting from Orlando but I am so happy I found this hidden gem. And truly, it is hidden. They need pop up signs to guide you but the view is amazing (right on the beach), the food is incredible, and the drinks are strong. Parking is rough but even if you need to park and walk, it's worth the effort. I had a strawberry shortcake daiquiri and for a frozen drink, it was strong! I also had a beach Bellini which is more champagne than juice which is a win win in my book. My meal consisted of a seafood omelette with crab meat and shrimp, topped with hollandaise sauce, and there was no shortage of meat. So much so that I had extra shrimp and crab to eat on the side once I finished my eggs. You substituted cheese grits instead of the hash browns and that was an excellent choice. I'm a bit of a grits snob, living in the south and the grits here were on point. Long story short...this is a must visit when going to the beach and I now have a regular spot once I'm visiting the east coast. read more

Nice breakfast catching the morning sun outside on their balcony tables facing beach. Steamy, but pleasant with umbrella shade. We had good traditional breakfast eggs, bacon, biscuit, coffee, and sunshine! Not fancy, just good. Was there today with friends for an afternoon brunch, the service was great and when we closed out our tab, we tipped the server well and we were Kicked out, we were told they over served us. We all had our clothes on and no one started a fight, the management was unprofessional and we will never spend another dollar at the place, I feel sorry for the staff who have to work at that place. read more

The Beach Bucket is the only oceanfront Bar and Grill in Ormond Beach, Fl. We open daily at 7 AM, and close every evening at 9 PM. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full bar all on our 2700 sq ft oceanfront deck.

Ormond Beach's only oceanfront bar and restaurant. Open from 7AM to 9PM, come enjoy an adult beverage while sitting mesmerized by the ocean. Every seat is oceanfront. PARKING... We have 25 parking spaces inside the Ocean East parking lot marked "restaurant patron parking only". You can also park on the Harvard Beach approach, which is free for Volusia County residents who have registered with the county; otherwise it is $20 to park on the Harvard Beach approach. Finally, you can park in the parking lot north of our property, Andy Romano park.
