So my bf has gone there twice to pick us up food: *The first time he stood there for like 10 minutes and nobody even acknowledged him being there. He left and got food elsewhere. *Fast forward 3 months or so we decided to try it again. He asked for 2 coffees made differently... He sees the girl making one of them incorrectly and asked for it to be corrected, she refused and continued making the coffee. (He paid for them anyway) When he was ready to leave he had to ask for a coffee cup holder. He asked for two bagels w turkey bacon, egg and cheese. He complained about his being short on cheese and on mine the egg and turkey bacon was charred and tasted burnt. The bagels were good, fluffy, fresh and flavorful but the stuff on it fell short. Overall the food was pretty good but the customer service wasn't good. It really is a shame because this place has potential. read more

Not really sure why the reviews for this place are so great. I'm not a fan of the bagels because I find them to taste stale and hard every time I've gone. The amount of egg cheese and meat they give in a breakfast sandwich is a joke. They over fry the eggs til they are just burnt and gross. I have given them a few tries thinking I just caught them on a bad day.. nope they just have shitty bagels. Maybe I'm just a bagel snob, either way I won't be going back. read more

I live down the road on Passaic Street, and had been going to this place for a little while because it was convenient for me to get there. For the most part, the staff was friendly. Their bacon was undercooked most days. But last saturday would be the last time I'll ever go in there again. I ordered for 4 sandwiches for myself, and my family. I was handed my bag, and told "Have a good day" so I left. I got home to realize they had forgotten one of the sandwiches. No big deal. It was busy, and I live a minute away so I didn't mind going back. I understand mistakes happen. I get back there, and a woman in front of me is telling the staff that she too was missing a sandwich from her order, an egg & cheese. they try to hand her mine; a bacon, egg & cheese but she says that's not her's. I come forward to say that it's mine, and it wasn't in my bag. An older lady, who I believe is one of the owners, shoved it in my hand and said "Yeah. You forgot it" with an attitude. I try to let her know that I was told to have a good day, so I assumed my order was completed, but she turned and walked away. There's another bagel store that's little further from my house than this place, but I will surely be going there from now on. read more

The bagels are too hard most of the time- hard as a rock- and this is at 8 am. The BEC has one skimpy egg on it that doesn't even cover the bagel- very cheap. Place is not clean. I also found hair from the brush all baked into my bagel. Disgusting. read more

These reviews are so off. These bagels are terrible. The bagels don't have any taste no matter what bagel flavor you buy. The texture was off as well. The butter on one had no flavor either. The chive cream cheese was the only thing that has any flavor in this store. Save your money, go somewhere else. read more

French toast mini bagels!!! Yessssss! Tough competition between this place and and Bagel House in Lodi! Bagels are fresh and delicious, staff is friendly and quick which is exactly all you need from a bagel shop! Good variety on bagel options and breakfast/lunch selections. I tend to go the extra mile just for the mini French toast bagels though! Make sure you try one! read more

This jersey girl isn't overly impressed, but it's a clean place with okay bagels, nice staff, and interesting kinds of bagels (french toast, jalapeno, russian pumpernickel, whole wheat everything, etc.). This bagel place is awesome! I'm partial to the multi-grain and pumpernickel with and without sesame seeds. Other bagels just don't compare to these made fresh daily and continuously on weekends. While we were visiting town from Baltimore, my wife ,some friends, and I looked up for a Bagel shop, and found this one. The place was very small, yet it was very big in flavor, and value. The service was excellent, and the food was great. We loved it so much, we had to to stop the following morning before we left town. We bought some more bagel sandwiches, and some two dozen bagels to go. We will go there again. Thanks guys. read more

My favorite Bagel shop of all! Sam and his staff are awesome. The bagels are always fresh. I'm a plain bagel with butter warm (as in fresh out of the oven) kind of a girl. It is sheer perfection. All of there other bagels are outstanding. I bring them to all of my family members that have moved from this area. Everyone raves about the French Toast bagel with cream cheese. The bagels are truly amazing but this business has the worst customer service! Today I attempted to call in my order and the phone was picked up put on the side without anyone answering. I kept calling and it was busy (of course because they left it off the hook.) when I went in I mentioned that the phone was busy and I was ignored. As I placed my first order one of the young women took the order and dismissed me and walked away even though I was not done. I had to get the attention of another young woman to finish placing my order. While I was waiting for my order a gentleman walked in and mentioned the phone not working and one employee stated "whatever, I don't care about that". It's really sad because I want to support local businesses but they act like our presence in that locates more of an inconvenience. Hopefully things change because it's such great food, it's just hard to deal with with such a lack of customer service. read more

Just brought an Italian sandwich there today 9/8/16 got brown lettuce, 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of salami, and 1 slice of cheese, worst sandwich and staff ever. Would not eat there again, I also saw lots of flies which didn't seem to bother the staff. Wouldn't even give it 1 star but you have to. read more
