If you're looking for a great bagel shop, this is the place! The bagels are fresh, delicious, and there's a huge variety to choose from. They also offer excellent breakfast platters, muffins, pastries, and plenty of other breakfast options. Be prepared--it gets very busy, especially during peak hours. If you can, call your order in ahead of time, although they sometimes have to stop taking phone orders when they're overwhelmed. Even so, it's absolutely worth the wait! read more

- Breakfast bagel sandwiches which hits the spot. I had these after the gym and before my hike. - Service was about 10 mins. I don't mind a wait as long as the food comes out fresh. - Regular bagel shop from the inside. Nothing crazy in here. While you wait to order, you can check out their wide selection of bagels and spreads. - I got their sausage, egg and cheese and their blueberry bagel with butter/cream cheese. Would go back again if I'm ever feeling a breakfast bagel sandwich. read more

First time here. Had a great experience at bagel house. The scallion cream cheese is more like grated almost scallions. Makes for small pieces throughout the cream cheese and i loved it compared to traditional scallion cream cheese which has bigger chunks of it. Very good cream cheese. Great bagels. We got 6 + CC to go and got some for breakfast too. Sausage egg + cheese. Egg everything bagel was delicious and fluffy. Fresh housemade juices here as well. read more

Wow, just found out about Bagel House recently and have already visited a few times to try a few of their bagels. This place is BUSY, which means the word is out and I'm just behind on finding out about this spot! The sun dried tomato bagel with Sausage egg & cheese, SPK is fantastic. Blueberry bagel with plain CC and a plain bagel with pumpkin cream cheese was a hit with my family. Had a chance to also try their Pumpkin coffee and this honestly hit the SPOT. Their parking lot can get a bit tight since they're on a main-ish road and maybe 15 spots total, but there is some side street parking available too. Service was amazing, having been there a few times already. Really great experience. Can you dine in? Sure, they got a few stools and a window ledge, but most folks are grabbing and going. read more

You are not a priority THE BAGELS ARE , this is the busiest bagel shop I've been to in the afternoon a hour before closing ... everyone behind that counter has extreme amount of Patience. They see hundreds of faces a day and still remember mine. If I could tip all the workers cooks included I would every single time. If it's busy don't expect parking just hope for a spot !!! The environment is always clean inside bathrooms always taken care of. I can't find one box they didn't check off. If the workers/ owner is reading this , kudos to you all, thank you for providing a place to eat and be recognized. Writing this I feel like I'm cheating on my original spot . I first had a Bagel House bagel at work a while back and decided to finally stop in for myself before work. They have a parking lot and I was lucky enough to find a spot but be prepared to possibly park on the street bc this place is busy. The line was out the door but I mean that speaks to what is to come .... BAGEL HEAVEN! They have a wide variety of bagels including seasonal, specialty and even mini bagels which in all honestly are enough for an adult bc the regular bagels are MASSIVE! I went with my baseline bagel order which is an Everything Bagel w scallion cream cheese ... PERFECTION!!!! The bagels are sooooo dang good! Pillowy but chewy and a nice pull (NJ'ians understand this language lol). And service was also good as they were taking care of customers as fast as they possibly could and the gentleman who helped me apologized for the wait which I wasn't bothered by at all. Definitely highly recommend this place. read more

One of the best breakfast and bagel shops in the area. Great bagels. Big, fluffy and very tasty bagels. Great breakfast sandwiches. TEC on a whole wheat bagel is my order and it is one of the best bagel TEC sandwiches in the area for sure. Super friendly staff. Can be a bit busy at times. Parking lot can fill up fast. Absolutely love this place. Definitely one of my favorite places to get a breakfast bagel! Bagels NEVER disappoint & neither does the service. Employees are always super sweet despite how busy it always is! I usually get a toasted everything bagel with sausage egg & cheese & it's always on point! They always have a ton of cream cheeses to choose from & bagels as well. They also sell bakes goods, grab & go salads, sandwiches, juices, & desserts. They also have really great affordable coffee. My advice: Call & order ahead to avoid the wait ;) read more

Really big soft bagels just how I like them. My husband enjoyed the bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. Bought a half dozen and put my own toppings at home. Parking lot is sufficient, but since it is near a school it is a very busy street in the morning. Service was pretty quick. Not much of a line, and it didn't take too long to receive the order. After taking an 18 hour red eye flight back to Newark, a good ole breakfast sammie was much needed. We called for pick up at around 7:30 AM on a Saturday. I guess everyone else needed a weekend bagel too because it was pretty packed at that time. My go to breakfast sammie anywhere is usually just sausage and American cheese. I had this one on an everything bagel and it did not disappoint. I think I have found my new local bagel spot! read more

I always go to the OG Bagel House in Kearny but when they expanded and opened up a spot in Lodi I was thrilled because I work right around the corner. I can't believe I haven't written a review for this one since I'm here all the time. Firstly, the parking lot is huge so you won't have a problem there. Good thing too because they definitely fill up and quick. It's the same quality as the Kearny location - delicious fresh bagels, amazing cream cheese spreads and friendly service. During this pandemic, it's tough and nerves can rise quickly. I went in today to grab breakfast and I wish I knew the name of the two women working. They were SO amazing, they kept the huge line flowing, they were friendly and handled this whole situation incredibly well. I was shocked how everything flowed so smoothly. Props to them! As always, the bagels are delicious. Fresh, doughy on the inside, perfectly crispy outside. Yum. Their cream cheese spreads are the best. I've tried a lot of veggie cream cheese in my day and nothing beats this one. Out of this world good. Their sweets are great, sandwiches are generously portioned, and their sides are good too. I highly recommend this place. read more

Quick grab & go breakfast spot with a lot of options to choose from. A crowded spot during the opening hours as the food is freshly made everyday & the place smells amazing with hot baked goods. The muffins are bad even though they look appealing & named with pistachios, chocolate and few others, they taste bland & are artificially flavoured with a weird taste . Bagels are really good and filled with good amount of cream cheese, meat & choice of toppings. read more

I love this Bagel Place by my home. Usually during weekends and during wfh days I stop by to grab a quick bite or just take out some bagels and coffee. You can order over the phone and have them prepare your order in advance or go there and order and wait for a bit as it's very crowded on a normal day. Ask them to toast your sandwich a lil more if you like it to be toasted. They have so many cream cheese options and out of them my personal fav is veggie cream cheese and sprint onion cream cheese and jalapeños cream cheese and.. lol by now you know I love their cream cheese. Also the only reason why this place doesn't get a five star from me is because very now and then they mess up my order and give me something else. But when you complain they do correct it right away. Their bagels are really fresh and soft and the coffee is amazing. Will definitely come back! read more
