If you're hungry and looking for an overstuffed bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich, then look no further than 3-Star Bagels (@threestarbagels ) in Teaneck, NJ. The bagels here are always large, fresh, and super fluffy... And they carry a nice variety of bagels, ranging from plain, cinnamon raisin, everything, sesame, and much more. Their menu doesn't end with just bagels, but it's a full deli, carrying variety of deli meats, cheeses, and salads. I've actually had their chicken salad before and it's really good. The location can get busy, but it's a testament to their product and to their customer service. Also, if you're looking for a fancy-schmancy artisanal bagel shop, you're not gonna get that here. It's an old-school deli bagel shop that's been serving the community for over 40+ years where they know what they're doing and they do it really well. 402 Cedar Ln, Teaneck, NJ 07666 201.928.4226 Check them out @threestarbagels

Food: 3/5 Service: 5/5 It was a decent bagel sandwich. VERY packed with cream cheese though. My friend wished for the bagel to be less chewy as well. Would not necessarily go back again as there are other bagel shops nearby.

    Taylor Ham Egg & Cheese

Ordered a Taylor ham egg and cheese (not an egg sandwich with a side of 2 pieces of Taylor ham) The bagel was pretty good but too much egg. The whole store was pretty expensive but I guess that's the price you pay for this much egg. The service was amazing and everyone was nice. Bagel was chewy and soft. I would probably go back.

    BLT

I had a BLT on an everything it was perfect. The lettuce was crisp the bacon was cook to perfection. My husband had a Taylor egg and cheese. They were generous with the Taylor ham.

Pork Roll (Taylor Ham), Egg, and Cheese! Now that's a sandwich!!!

Still stand by my previous review... the sandwich is of epic proportion and serves up hot and made to order! The location is right on Cedar Lane and has indoor seating. When I'm not having an everything bagel, the PEG is my go to... The store is cozy and offers plenty of seating. My order was taken quickly and served up hot and fresh. Try it!

Rye bagel with sliced lox and cream cheese

This is a late post for my last visit at this location. Bagels are fresh and priced accordingly for what you get. Staff are always friendly and there is usually a short short line on the weekends. The rye and pumpernickel bagels sell out quick, but ALWAYS warm when I order them early in the morning before 9am. Rye bagels are sprinkled with seeds at top side only (not sprinkled on both side for maximum flavor.) I am a fan of sliced lox bagels and have ordered several from them before with cream cheese. Unfortunately, there is always a strong fishy after taste. Hopefully management can reevaluate inventory and replenishes the sliced lox to keep food fresh, or improve lox quality ASAP.

Great bagels. Large, soft, and the right amount of chewiness. We had the cinnamon raisin, plain, everything, and sesame. We asked for ones that were less well done the second day we went since we prefer them that way. The cream cheese tasted great and the lox were not too salty and tasted very fresh. The star of the show was the crumb cake. It was soft, not too sweet and very fresh. They make it fresh daily and you can tell. Great place for bagels and crumb cake if you are in the area.

    Sausage on plain bagel, $7!

It's been a while since I've eaten here but decided to stop in this morning to grab my daughter breakfast before school. I usually get a bagel with cream cheese and bacon (weird combo but tastes delish) and was surprised that they charged $11!! So I said no thanks, just give me a sausage and cheese on a bagel... $7! My daughter just had plain sausage on a bagel, no egg no cheese... $7! The two bagels and an apple juice came to $17. We don't order breakfast often so I paid up and went on our day. I opened my daughters and hers looked decent. She had two sausage patties on a barely toasted bagel. She doesn't like hard bagels so I didn't mind and she even proclaimed how happy she was. I opened my bagel and pieces of sliced American cheese started to fall out. I was surprised to see two slices of non-melted American cheese and one sausage patty. For the price, should it have killed you to make sure you served the same amount in the same order.. or even make sure the cheese was melted?? I'm extremely disappointed with the food for the price. There are plenty of other bagel stores in town, even on the same block that would give better quality food for a better price. Last time I will patronize this store.

Hard to find better bagels in the area. Closer to work so I don't get to go often. Bagel sandwiches are a bit pricey.

There's no need to worry about street parking because they have a small parking lot up front. I stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon, craving a breakfast sandwich. Yes, I eat breakfast after 2pm... shoot me! The ambiance is a little more "elevated" than your usual deli. It's bright, clean, and modern with a good amount of seating. They also have wifi. I can see this also being a study/work spot during off-peak hours. They have a large variety of both breakfast and lunch options - bagels, pancakes, waffles, omelettes, burgers, salads, and savory sandwiches. Additionally, they also have tea, coffee, smoothies, and juices. What makes them stand out are their artisanal bagel flavors and gourmet cream cheese spreads. They have a lot of unique flavors, both sweet and savory. I ordered: *2 Eggs, Cheese and Meat Breakfast Sandwich ~$7 - I got mine with taylor ham and salt/pepper/ketchup on a toasted everything bagel. This was a satisfying and hearty meal! The bagel crust was crispy, while the interior was dense, fluffy, and chewy. The taylor ham was smoky and salty, which paired well with the creamy cheese and eggs. *Iced Coffee with milk & sugar ~$4 - The coffee was just okay. It was on the weaker side. A little too much milk. The service was friendly, welcoming, and quick. The employee let me sample a few of their cream cheeses. I also got to meet the chef, Miguel, who told me more about the business! I'll definitely be returning to try their artisanal bagels... I have my eyes on the french toast and parmesan ones!

We ordered a classic sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and this time, I also wanted to investigate their bagel game. I ordered an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese and it took just a few bites to remind this newly transplanted Southerner that bagels in the Northeast are in a league of their own. Food comes out fast. We both watched admiringly from our tables as the short order cooks moved like tornados at the grill, furiously beating bowl after bowl of eggs to fulfill the counter endless string of orders. That's another thing. During the whole half hour we dined at a table, things never quieted. As soon as a table cleared, someone else would grab it right away. Over the years, I've found that when in doubt, it's best to follow the crowds. On most Saturday mornings, it seems this is the place where all the crowds in Ridgefield Park are congregating. This breakfast spot is as local as it gets. As a lover of small business, I can't tell you secretly happy I get to see lines at the door here while the Dunkin Donuts across the street languishes.

Java Day Cafe came up and it was really close to both of us so we decided to come here. The place is nestled in a small strip mall with other stablishments so luckily that means there's ample parking. There's also a fair amount of seating. You order at the counter and let them know if you want to take your food to go or if you'd like to dine-in. I was pretty hungry coming off a 12-hour shift so I got the Hungryman sandwich with a hash brown on the side. They have a few options as far as French toast goes and my girlfriend decided on Nutella stuffed. Our food came out rather quickly considering how busy they seemed to be. A few other parties were dining in and a good amount of people picked up takeout. My sandwich was much bigger than I anticipated but it was delicious. The various meats brought the saltiness and savory flavor I was looking for and it all paired well with the eggs and cheese. The bread it was served in had a nice crunch to it which is always appreciated. The sandwich was great but the next time I get it I have to add the SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup for you non-Jerseyans). I also tried some of my girlfriends French toast. It looked really good and I think I saw them take a picture before bringing it to our table. I'm not mad at that, as a Yelper I'm a firm follower of phone-eats-first! The French toast was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the bread had the all-important crunch. Walnuts also added good texture to everything. I think the only thing stopping me from rating this place 5-stars is the price. It's definitely on the pricier side. My girlfriend and I got coffees with our food and everything came out to a few bucks short of $50. Nevertheless, a very solid breakfast spot. I could see myself coming back. I found it weird that they have such nice plates but they only have plastic utensils. Not a knock on them, just a quirky thing I noticed.
