My husband brought me breakfast today after going to the supermarket. He got Springtree bagels before he came home. Mine was Everything Whole Wheat with egg and bacon...soft, delicious, fresh... My husband's was the same as mine but he added American cheese and he said it was also excellent. The bacon they use is very good, and I like it's always super crispy. This is my go-to bagel shop. The bagels are always super fresh and the toppings are to die for. My order is a bagel with the nova salmon lox, scallion cream cheese, and bermuda onions. They do NOT skimp out on the lox or the cream cheese and the bagel itself is really filling. If you stop in around 7am - 9am, there is a reason why this place is always busy. I've also ordered through UberEats and DoorDash and they always make the order perfect and it usually arrives pretty quick too. Can't recommend this place enough! Stopped by for the first time to get some bagels. As you can see from my photo, they are real bagels, not bagel shaped bread, and a very healthy size as well! Bagels are a bit on the pale side, I don't know if this is a one-time thing or typical, but nothing a quick pop in the toaster oven at home couldn't fix! When I opened up my bagel to eat, it looked massive and soft so I was excited to try it. First off there is barely any flavor, I got an everything bagel and it basically looks and tastes like a plain bagel. Secondly, I had to chew the bagel for so long that my jaw hurt. This WAS the absolute best bagels in the area, until recently. They hired a bunch of new staff and now they serve burnt bagels with gross bacon and way overdone eggs. Stay away from the new girls. One of them gets completely catty - I even brought the burnt crap back to her and she wanted to charge me for making her burnt bagels over again. They were my saviors the morning after the storm! Since street parking was full I parked in the Walgreens lot across the street (don't worry I made a purchase) and stomped my way over with my heavy duty rain boots. Although the line was long it went by fairly quickly. They had 3 men at the counter taking multiple orders and doing a great job at it. Everyone was either ordering dozens of bagels to bring back or doing breakfast and lunch orders in fear of no food in their powerless homes. After about 20 minutes, it was finally my turn. 3 sesame bagels, 3 cinnamon raisin bagels, and a large coffee. I picked up a tub of cream cheese and OJ at Walgreens to justify my use of their parking lot. The bill came out to less than $5 and I could not be happier with my breakfast eaten with my family in our cold, powerless home. read more

As soon as you walk in, you get hit with the heavenly smell of bacon! They also have the BEST lox and lox cream cheese! Service is fast, employees are friendly, and prices are great! I love the fact that there is only a $5 minimum for credit cards. They have a sign up that says breakfast is only served until 11:30, but I don't think that applies to the weekends because I have gone in multiple times at 12/12:30 and they are still making them. Maybe I'm just overly excited from the lunch I just had from here -pretty sure I've never given any bagel place 5 stars out of all my reviews- but this place is amazing!! Besides the staff being super nice and helpful, the food is always on point! Some of my coworkers get their soup (which comes with a free bagel!) And a lot of them even say their grilled cheese are delicious. But my personal favorite from here is their nova lox on a cream cheese bagel. It is just soo darn good! I don't trust fish in any form from many places, and have only had lox on a bagel a handful of times and always from really good places in nyc, but this place is just as good if not better! The lox are so fresh and sliced nice and thin. Very buttery and not too smelly either I love em! This is a pretty standard bagel shop that gets quite busy in the mornings and on weekends. My kids get the bacon egg cheese on a roll. They always enjoy it, though last weekend they somehow forgot to melt the cheese. They have pretty decent coffee, so that's what I always get. Their muffins were always good and fresh. I say "were" because I stopped eating grains and sugar a while ago, so now all my reviews will be about things like: black coffee. Argh!! The deprivation.
