The Bagel Shoppe is a great neighborhood eatery. I always get the Chicken Swiss Grill on a wrap. It is both healthy and tasty. I also had the Bagel Shoppe cater my one year old nephews party. The baked ziti and sausage and peppers were awesome. Great place to go for any occasion. The owners are friendly, and a lot of the patrons are veterans. The food here is incredible which is why I deal with the rest of the stuff I'm about to tell you, but if the manager has any hope of pleasing his customers better, he will put some organization into the way they run things here. First, orders are usually incorrect. One time I asked for scallion cream cheese. The lady checked in with me and said "vegetable right?" I said scallion! nicely and she replied with an okay, obviously not actually listening because she still put vegetable cream cheese on my bagel. Second, there's a line for a reason. The middle-aged guy, darker air and always has a puss on his face, asked who needed to order so I touched the shoulder of the lady in front of me to ask if she was next and he had already started to take the order of the guy behind me! He then gave me a look of disgust as if I was wasting his time by doing this properly! Please learn customer service and organization. Really the best bagels! Whenever I visit the area I always stop by and grab some with their homemade strawberry cream cheese.

So many kinds of bagels and baked goods. Sandwich was soso. I ordered my sandwich and it was not even heat up well. Grilled Chicken was so cold inside. Green peppers are still raw.There are tons of people, so had to be very patient while waiting. I guess, they were rushed to get my food done. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and she liked it. This is an Italian bakery. Lots of Italian cookies and cakes. The bagels are an afterthought. They're not dense or chewy as they should be. I came on a Sunday morning and there were no hot bagel smells. Just a cold air conditioned smell. And Blueberry bagels?! Anyplace that calls itself a bagel place and makes blueberry bagels should revisit its raison d'etre. read more

I was in line and it was my turn as I started to order the lady said "excuse me!!!" Motioned to the customer behind me and then proceeded to persistently help them even though the customer stated that I had been in line before her. Another time my food was forgotten and never made. Another time my bagel and cream cheese took 25 minutes and when I opened it up to eat it, it was burned and inedible. read more

This place got me sick. Their jalapeño cream cheese was pink and when I asked them about the color they said it was normal and gave me an attitude. I later called to inform them that their cream cheese got me sick, but their manager was unavailable. So I just received the same nasty attitude a second time. If ever in the area, don't pass this place up without stopping by. We're from Texas and had to order the black and white cookie #Seinfeld....It was great! In fact, we came back had breakfast next day and bought 3 more black and white cookies as gifts for friends back home...Sad to say none made it back :/ yep..we ate them all. Bagels are delicious! I went there on a week day morning before bringing my kids to catch a bus. I walked in , there were only 2 cops who had already had their food. I asked the 2 ladies working if they took credit cards as payment, i received no response from either. I asked again and one woman acted as if I was bothering her. She said, "what can I get you?" She never answered my original question. I always try to be nice to people who make my food so I tried again, this time me apologizing saying, "I am sorry I am in a rush, so I didn't want to have you make something if you don't take my payment" Still no answer.... So I grabbed 2 TINY orange juices in a carton. When the lady rang me up I was FLABBERGASTED!!!! Over $13 for 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 orange juices!!!!! I questioned the price and she stated that the orange juices were $3 a piece! That is insane! She was unapologetic and as a matter of fact she was quite snobby about it. Not to argue or make a fuss I paid and said thank you. On my way to my car I saw a gentleman walking and I said, "Wow $3 for an orange juice" Weird comment he made, "She must not have liked you..." I am very surprised at the poor reviews here. To the person who complains about not getting a toasted bagel - a person isn't going to toast a bagel unless you ask them to. It's not by default anywhere.... ANYWAY, I'm getting off topic. The selection of bagel and non-bagel sandwiches is almost overwhelming, but not quite. This is a good thing because it gives you just enough selection to cater to your every whim and craving. I personally got the Bagel All the Way today (amazingly delicious and tender Lox with cream cheese, onions and tomatoes on a wheat bagel). My ONLY complaint was that the tomato did not blend so well with the sandwich but that's a matter of personal preference, not something that can be reflected on the place. The prices for what they make and sell and its quality is outstanding. I've been going to Gold's Gym over there for years now and my only regret is that I haven't stopped by here sooner. read more

This was very bad. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. What I got was dry, unseasoned cold cut chewy/fatty roast beef cold cuts, microwaved and served on a roll. It was not even edible. I also ordered a bagel with butter, which was Ok (nothing special) but absolutely saturated with butter (they must've used an entire stick on one bagel). We will not go back. I had a sandwich from here today, it was delicious! I could only eat half, my husband are the other half. By the time he eat it is was cold but still damn good according to him. When I walked in I couldn't get over how good it smelled like cinnamon and sugar. The gentleman behind the counter told me if was the apple spice cake baking. I purchased one and it was amazing. Breakfast Sandwiches, Heroes, Panini's, Wraps, Salads, Soups, Desserts and more. They not only serve up a great breakfast and lunch, but a delicious, hot and fast take out dinner when short on time. The family never complains about dinner on those nights. The food is always fresh and tasty, at a good price. Joey and the crew are always accommodating and provide great friendly service. They do an exceptional job at catering any occasion, although it's hard to choose what to serve from the extensive menu. I love the bagels and spreads here. I've never had a complaint with the food. With that said, they've still lost me and my family as patrons. The blond woman you have behind the counter...well tell her to put some gloves on when she's touching my food!!! Its about the 5th time that I've thrown a bagel out because I don't want to make a scene. I don't understand, would she eat something that I prepared with my bare hands? She just handled the patrons money before me and had NO issue with putting her dirty hands all over my Bagel. GROSS, not to mention a health code violation! I've never had a problem with any other employee not wearing gloves, just her. She is a problem in this shop and is need of some serious food handling training. read more
